She raises a brow as the man speaks at last. Now a Yonkou? Only days before she had encountered the crew of a Shichibukai with her former captain. She always suspected these sorts of people would be more difficult to randomly run into. "I don't think it's entirely appropriate for you to pay me to dig up your island to accommodate my bizarre petraphilia. How is it that you do not ask why I seek these minerals but you, a yonkou, have the time to spare to come along and play in the rocks with a nameless stranger? I sincerely thank you for your hospitality... but I do not understand it."
"By the way... your name... Anubis" She takes a moment to observe his garments and face. "You are of the desert islands?"

Then from a far a silhouette was forming. It was Kazuma, the shirt and pants he wore were torn and he had some scratches, he trained all the time in the forest of Anubis. Kazuma then quickly spoke to Anubis Sir Anubis, I am terribly sorry that I damaged a part of your training area, I was carried away of training. .

Amarant just smiled at Kazuma Looks like you did not just sat around all day waiting for us

Shankly watched terrified as his flintlock became simply junk and was useless. His feet shaking were more visible than ever while his eyes had widened at the power of the woman. What was he thinking ? How can someone just come into the Anubis headquarters and not turn out to be someone weird and powerful.
The marksman dropped the useless gun on the ground and watched at his captain tell him to stop because she meant no harm...but even then Captain ANubis should understand at least a little bit of the insulting sarcasm in her sentences.

She somehow read his mind either. How did she know he would like to check out her...what did she call it...ah yes... waver. He was tempted to ride it and even though she said he couldn't be able to ride, Shankly doubted that but decided to remain silent as he was still stunned. The apprentice shook his head from the shock and frowned towards the waver lady.
Whatever she said and even without his flintlock and nothing in his arms he remained in his place observing the lady and his captain.
Shankly was now desperately wishing Satoshi would show up.

Arriving at the shore, having trailed a distance behind the intruder; not hiding but simply looking for the commanders. He had bore witness to pistol ordeal. Zalton pauses before approaching the group intrigued by the woman who so boldly stood before Anubis. Think to himself <She must be pretty strong or just stupid. Ahh what a weapon she wields, how interesting.>

Ignoring the girl he walks past her standing in between her and Anubis. "I have returned is appears as though the Anubis pirates have grown a bit sense my depature. But I do wonder why, the infestation of pest."

The other pirates , especially the newer ones were alarmed, but the more senior pirates of the Anubis pirates all chuckled and grinned. Anubis himself chuckled "Now now Zalton..... i know you have just come back...... but you dont have to be so rude.... though saying that would be a waste of time..... did you hear about Daniel dying....."

Despite, not really acknowledging the existence of anyone else she did take not of the conversation. She closed her eyes for a moment, internally lamenting the news of their lost crew mate. She never met any of them or the crew member lost, but she remembered how it felt ... more than once, and she would never wish it on any crew. She did not display her concern as her eyes flicker about the others for a moment. She turns her attention back to Anubis. "So... I'm going to be going now, laddie... you can come if you like... to oversee my little excavation and make sure I keep out of trouble, since you really have no reason to trust me... then again, a jungle is no place for a desert boy. Don't worry, little laddie... I'll protect you. Maybe."
She smirks a bit, almost playfully then picks up the mangled flintlock. She speaks to Shankly without looking at him. "I'll fix this bland little toy for ye, skippie... maybe even improve it... these blasted muzzle loading contraptions are so inefficient... and all are inferior to a good blade... but you just don't seem like the blade type..."

Anubis then got up "To answer your earlier question , my beautiful and mysterious stranger... i am the third son of the Arabastian Royal family..... as to your other question, yes i would like to accompany you... you have peaked my interest on the matter. And Zalton, you can follow me.... we have to discuss your findings as well........ and Kazuma it is quite alright , dont worry about destroying that small part.... it will regrow like all life does....... now im going for a stroll..... if anyone else comes...... if they are ally welcome them. if not kill them"

Sam sat down a little bit far away from his new captain, and the other crew members who were surrounding him. After all he was probably one of the newest crew members, and he was not the social type. SO he was simply observing Anubis who was away from the island during Sam's test to join the crew.

Sam took a puff from his cigarette while leaning his back on the tree he was sitting close to. Hopefully he was going to get into actions soon enough.

She narrows her eyes at him a bit. "Please, save your flattery for the gullible. You haven't even asked why I'm interested in your land's geological wealth, laddie ... Aren't you going to take an entourage of guards? So you are bloody a royal... t'wasn't the least bit obvious, really! Were you thrown out... or did you run away... or perhaps you are planning a hostile coup of the siblings who are fist in line? As I half breed, I am gleefully exempt from the royal rubbish of my mother's family."
She turns away, and takes a moment to remove her mask to breath in the rich jungle air. She turns her head, giving Anubis a dangerous azure gaze and a bit of a smirk. " Aren't you coming, little prince?

Anubis didnt reply to her comment, mainly because Anubis had experienced this too many times before. The people who kidnapped him when he was a child, the guards to tortured him in Arabasta prison, other numerous pirates and marines, they all insulted and tortured him simply because he was part of a royal family. And Anubis didnt blame them for thinking that way now. In his eyes commoners have a different view of the world and believe the rich and powerful should perish. in somes peoples eyes, the rich and powerful were tyrants. In Anubis's eyes, he saw it all. The powerful,the just, the tyrant and the kindness. He has seen all aspects of rulers and had no particular need to answer her taunts, he simply smiled and held his hand up as the men behind him became more apprehensive, "You are very cute my dear, please lead the way........."

She knew that she dished out an intolerable amount of mockery to the suspiciously hospitable fellow but his next words drew out a fair bit of annoyance that she struggled to contain. She spun on her heel abruptly facing him, nearly nose to nose. Her steely blue eyes frigidly reflecting her distaste as her words dripped with contempt. "CUTE?! Mocking is one thing, but if you wish to humiliate me thusly then open my throat right here and now... if you can." Without another word she turned away from him and continued to move forward. "Do try to keep up, desert boy."

Anubis walked foward keeping up to the girl "You are very high spirited arent you? always thirsting for blood ahahahaha........ so explain the mineral that we are searching for...... " There were some animals about to attack, but once they saw Anubis, they began to back down, Anubis after all went through all levels of this island once and defeated every creature on the island.

"I do rather enjoy blood... I not quite sure if I fancy the taste of yours... yet." She walked along rather enjoying the serenity of the forest canopy and the wild life. She narrowed her eyes when she saw the creatures reaction to the man and lightly stroked the little blue lizard she encountered before that was still perched upon her shoulder to reassure it that it wouldn't be harmed. "This land... if this is the right place, is quite a rare thing... it contains both sea stone and a particular mineral, which, if my research is correct, can be used to bind particular metals to seastone, to make a rather ... useful alloy. I have only gotten small bits of the mineral and seastone to experiment with now and again and only a small amount of metals are actually conducive to making a stable metallic matrix durable enough for intense combat. I make weapons... usually blades of some sort... frequently augmented with various other detriments to vitality. This mineral... changes ...everything." Her eyes glaze over with wonder for a moment before she continues meandering along

Anubis was listening to her with attention and focus,he was now very interested, "You can form weapons from this mineral? and sea stone as well..... this could help me as well....... i dont have any specialists in m crew yet.... my two top scientists are off at Water 7....... not to mention if this mineral can make weapons that strong, i could certainly use it as well......"

Anubis at this point had so many schemes and plans in mind.

"No... not by itself... it is utterly worthless by itself... but in the presence of the correct metals and seastone, it is amazingly strong... I don't suppose you have a forge? Or a metal worker of some sort... i could try to instruct them... but it's really quite a delicate process... it took a very long time to figure out the ideal conditions and proportions... I have a forge on my ship ... but... you really must get your own... I certainly won't be staying here... and" She stops suddenly, sniffing the air. "It's here... so strong..." Her tone changed as she could not contain her excitement. Without thinking she takes his hand, tugging him to a break in the forest where a bare rock face protruds from a steep embankment. "Don't you smell it... it's like the smell of freshly fallen rain, only slightly sweeter... I've never smelled it quite so strong... there is so much of it... this is... phenomenal... " She begins to scurry over to the rock face then notices, she never bothered to release his hand after reaching the clearing. She quickly releases his hand as though it suddenly caught fire and laces her hands behind her back almost awkwardly while approaching the rock. "Ah... if you will step this way, little prince"

Anubis smelt something but was careful not to mix his hidden sand blades with this material, he followed the girl and watched what she was doing "Well, in the terms of the metal forge, that is a simple thing to do, i have two world renowned scientists Best and Max who create things in their sleep. That can be done...... you will not be staying... that is too bad,you would have unlimited materials due to the fact i own many islands..........."

She looked over her shoulder, noticing a bit of apprehensiveness. "Oh... a devil fruit, eh? You actually don't have to worry about the mineral... it's only the seastone that will bother you ... The seastone is why it's so bloody hard to make anything with it... a typical forge won't get the job done... you need a super heated one... which is doable with the right resources... which are not easy to come by... other than that you would need to track down someone with a devil fruit capable of producing the necessary heat... but even then it's a bit of a nuisance to work around the seastone problem... and not you... my blue-eyed sand prince... nor anyone else could keep me away from the sea... no matter how boundless your resources are... I would sooner die than be run aground. If the shackles of the land are your price for the materials, you can keep every molecule."

Anubis laughed "I dont think you fully understand...... just by wearing the anubis mark , you have access to any island belonging to me and the freedom to go wherever you wish and do whatever you want....... my crew have crews of their own and they sail off whenever they wish to different places and have a lot of freedom...i do not restrict movements of any kind, all i ask is that you visit me now and then in at least a few years or so, other than that, i dont control my crew unless they wish to be..... most of the names under the Anubis pirates are captains of their own crews........ they sail everywhere.... just like Daniel..........." Anubis went quiet as he remembered Daniel, who died at the hands of the world government.

She raises a brow, rather taken back and marginally confused by nearly everything that just came out of his mouth. "A nomadic pirate crew? What's the point? You... You don't even know my name... you have no reason to trust me... How can I respect such a bizarre and rash request? I can't just sporadically join your crew on a whim... haven't you considered that I may already belong to a crew?"
She studies his face for a moment, recognizing a particular expression, or lack there of. "Whatever... or whoever you lost... don't be reckless!... It looks like things are going along nicely without my help. You mustn't invite wolves to sleep amongst your sheep. I appreciate your offer, but I do not want your mark... I will not be purchased and I will not be bribed... If this is truly how you gain 'respect,' I hope you sleep with a box of knives under your pillow... "
She walks past him with a look that was a mixture of sympathy, disappointment, anger, and disdain. "Good luck, blue eyes ... your sitting on the key to the world ... use it wisely. I think ... I should go."

Anubis laughed his head off "AHAHAHAHAHAAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHHAHAHHAA, You are a really one girl...... you ask me to distrust and hate, but i am a royal.... i have spent my life being nearly assassinated by several people...... my first crew which i was a part of was wiped out..... and some members were murdered by a psychopathic priest...... after losing everything we had to start from scratch.... why do i welcome you..... because i know people like you.... scholars , scientists, historians.... people who have advances in medicine and all that, there is a need for you to be here..... even if you want to travel, that is fine too, but if there is some way your weapons can help my crew, i want it....... no matter what girl........."

Folling allong Zalton pauses in remembrance, "No I had not heard. What happened" I should have been there." Even when thinking of a lost comrade he showed no true sympathy. But he knew that his presence just might of saved him.

Sneering, at the girl. <It was foolish of her to come here.> "When you found out Anubis inhabited this island she should have forwent her dreams. "This metal what makes it differant from any other." <He begins to think of the differant uses it might have.>

Anubis then said "You see Zalton here.... i havent seen him in a long time, that is how free my crew is..... we have evolved and branched........ we grow every time, and since your expertise is so rare, i will give you a chance, if you join me and help me create some of those powerful metals.... you can have anything, the freedom to travel,funding, access to the unaccessible..... and whatever you need.... if you refuse my offer ........ i will let you leave the island in peace, but i will have Zalton and many of my allies in the seas hunt you down ...... is that what you want?" Anubis needed to know how to make these weapons she was referring to, this girl could be the key to a lot of secrets to make his army more stronger.

"You're acting like you're doing me a favour... yet one hour ago, you had not clue about this land's potential. This place is not the only place to find the mineral nor seastone, for that matter. It's only convenient because they happen to be in the same place. I don't care how long you little pet's leash is, I refused your offer and now you tell me that you will 'allow' me to leave but intend to drag me back? Why bother even allowing me to leave? Why don't you save your little pet some trouble and kill me now, lets see how that goes ... I have no desire to join your batch of miscreant sea-thugs." She takes a moment to offer Zalton an unceremonious smirk ... as a gift.
She narrows her eyes and walks over to Anubis, leaving in very close, her eyes burning with blue fury, her voice soft and wispy. She runs a finger slowly under his chin as a coy smirk passed over her lips. "You always get what you want, don't you, blue eyes?"
She suddenly seizes the collar of his garments, pulling him still closer, until their foreheads meet. Her every word now contains an underlying threatening snarl. "Not this time, little prince..."
She pushes him away forcefully, backing up as she unsheathes her poison scythe, running careful fingers over the cool metal. She gives him a deadly gaze, punctuated with a taunting wink. "What's it going to be, Death Angel... your blood or mine?... try fighting your own battle for what you want, for once... no pets, please."
She unclips her black cloak, letting it billow dramatically to the ground behind her... but not before removing her bottle of rum. "Cheers, laddie... " She takes a heavy swallow, draining almost half of the bottle and then tosses to bottle over to him. "Careful with that, princess ... A teaspoon would bring a strong man to his knees and knock an average man unconscious for 3 days..."

Anubis then chuckled before looking focused "No, i will not attack you. As a guest of this island, i promised that no one would harm you , and it would be going against my word if i was to attack you silly girl (Anubis catches the rum in mid air and downs the entire bottle in one go) besides it would not be a fight..... it would be a slaughter show mainly for you....... trust me when i say, you dont want to fight me one on one......... besides.... if Zalton attacked you from behind ..... that would be wrong so do nothing Zalton unless she attacks first....."

Anubis did not want to go back on his word, while on this island , the girl was told to be left unharmed. But Anubis was firm, he needed more power for his crew. More might and dominance, the title of yonkou demanded it.

"I already told you... my quarrel is with you, not your pets. A slaughter indeed ... It seems quite dangerous for you to make such rash judgements especially when you haven't seen my entire hand ... what happens if I call your bluff, little prince?... If I leave here and you actually have the resources to bring me back... why would I cooperate with you? I only have my life to lose and it is worthless if it belongs to another. Anyway... I told you to find a devil fruit user... atsu atsu, maybe?... you've got the wrong captive, laddie!"
She sneers at him coldly
"You have given me bribes and threats... none of these things make me have even a vague hint of respect for you... quite the opposite, actually. If I respected you, I would be falling over myself to earn what I would consider the privilege of carrying your mark... and I would require nothing in exchange for this. Right now, you are nothing more than a sniveling brat, having a tantrum over a new toy that he can't have. I don't care what you own or what you can give... you're not my captain and I am NOT for sale."
