Hunting out loud; The rising guild of hunters. (anyone and crew members welcome)

Garret got up, and walked out the door after paying the barkeep. They walked through the streets, shopkeepers at their stalls selling goods from all around the local seas.

"In this here 'club' of ours, you hunt good, you're paid good," he said, walking along and sidestepping through the thicket of people in the street; the sky kept it's grey cloudy tone, though no wind blew. "Best of all, we do co-op business with the World Government; any pirate in this here club ain't prosecuted, s'long as they help provide the establishment with their beasts o' burden. Just don't try nothin funny outside our expeditions though," he added quickly, "then the Government won't think twice of jailin you. Would you look at that!" he added, as the trio walked into view of the old Shank Marlin man o war. "Finest floatin coffin any man could want hey?" Garret walked to the dock where the ship floated gently.

Luis noticed the ship and then raised his sunglasses "hmmmm, yes........ but still where is our base of operations Mr Finch? Im curious to know about it......"

Garret shrugged as he walked up the gangplank from the dock to the ship's deck. "We'll get t' that, don't you worry. First off, you'll wanna meet the boss of this division. He'll brief you two," he walked along onto the creaky deck; the sails hung limp upon the twin masts of the ship. "when he wakes up."

There were a few people still on board; the accordion player had left the boat, but was sure to be back. Some stared at Krieg, some at Soul and most at his gorilla. A leopard sat on the lower main mast's sail, as a leopard would rest on a tree, watching the gorilla with guarded attention.

Luis laughed "Friendly bunch of people by the looks of things, but hey, if they pick a fight with us, i might shoot one or two.... should be entertaining .... by the way, your gorilla is funny, and it stands out too much you know?"

Jake looked at Luis " I know but no matter what he won't leave my side" Jake then looks at the leopard in the tree " What kind of person has a leopard as a pet thats kinda creepy" saying that was kinda ironic since he had a pet gorilla..

Luis then comically said "Look who is talking? hahahaa"

The Luis said to all of them "Oi, what are the lot of you staring at? never seen new recruits before?"

(lol, its the ship's main mast)

A few chuckled, a few didn't, but they went back to their businesses after a while. "They've a penchant for lookin at stuff they'd think is a little unorthodox like. This way." they walked up to the captain's cabin, at the very back of the ship. The two guards at the door nodded and stepped aside. The trio walks in......

into one really messy room.

The carpet is stained with blood, the walls are decorated with plaques that have the skulls of many animals, some familiar, others not so, lining every wall of the wide room. At the centre of the room lies a rectangular oak table with 5 seats. On the table, lying flat on his back with his rancher hat on his face, lay a snoring man.

Jake walks in the room and was almost speechless " Now this is one of the most disgusting place i ever seen" He watches the man on the table with a curious look on his face " So he's the leader of this place?"

Luis looks around, it was really messy "Strange lifestyle this one leads, and he is our boss?"

Garret frowns. "S'cuse me a moment......" he mumbles, walking to a chair sitting next to the doors. He takes a hold of the chair, looks at the dozing man at the table-

and with a deep breath, violently throws the chair at him.

5 seconds later, the once dozing man lies on the ground, flat on his face; the thrown chair lies on the opposite end of the table, 2 pieces of it to be exact, split vertically. The man raised his head to Garret, and scowls. "Yer shoulda just damn well hollered, boy. Tossin' a chair ain't good conduct." He got up and faced the trio, noting the other two strangers with a blank face. His face was matted with unkempt fuzz, which was dotted with what looked like scraps of meat "err, these are....?"

Garret raises an eyebrow. "Well boss, it ain't such good conduct to leave paperwork under your ass fo' a nap neither." Without much warning, the leopard slips past the trio, and curls up in the far corner of the room. "These gents are the new applicants." he added, indicating Jake and Luis.

Jake looks at the man with a blank ecpression for a moment and then snaps out of it " Evening, my names Jake nice to meet you" Jake then pulls out his book and begin writing something down in it and then remembers " Oh yea that big fellow behind me is Shori" he says pointing at the gorilla

Luis walked foward and picked up the chair and sat down in front of the desk putting his feet up, he lighted a cigarette "So your my boss eh? i dont suppose you know who i am do you?"

The man with the unkempt face studies the duo and gorilla in detail, then grins a wide, predatory grin, and for two seconds, his teeth seem to resemble pale yellow daggers. "A good day t' you, Mistuh Soul, Mistuh Krieg, I'll beg ye pardon fer my humble abode alookin all unkempt n' all. Just finished lunch, y'see."

"Lunch's still all over your face boss." Garret remarks bluntly, walking to the leopard's corner, and sitting on a dull chair there.

The man blinks, then wipes his face on his sleeves, propping his hat on his head. "And now it ain't no more. Th' names Willard Cortez. Mah boys take t' pet namin' me, but jus' call me Wille. Or Mistuh Cortez, if you so please." He walks forward, still grinning and drags three chairs from the table. "Welcome t' the Will~Ie Bag 'n' Tag Branch division, Mojave Fang. Take a seat good suhs." He lays the chairs in front of the duo, then sits on his, hands on knees. He waves the cigarette smoke out of his face.

Luis the puffed again "So Mr Cortez is it? i still dont gras many things about your fine organization..... you have different branches? which one will i fall under exactly?"

Jake looked at the chair for a moment and then finally sat down " Wille, hmmmm interesting" Ryan pulls his book out again and writes something else down in his book while still writing he spoke " You know Luis those things can kill you" he says while closing the book and putting it back in his pocket..

Luis laughed at this comment "Yes so will booze and women my friend, but i tend to use all of it till i finally die, HAHHAHHAAH"

Jake looks at Luis and laughs " hahaha you are a very interesting man Luis"

"Well Mistuh Krieg," Willard responded, as the sky outside the spacious ship's cabin grew darker, "that lil' spoof'll be sorted out laytah', whence we reach Company HQ. In teh meantime, you'll be here, in Mojave Fang, floatin' 'bout in dis piece of glued driftwood." He indicated the floor, meaning the ship.

"Now fellas," he continued, eyeing them both closely, "there ain't much rules n' th' group, 'side from laws barrin' mutiny n' all. But there's one rule i'll trust you good gents t' follow." His grin slowly slipped off his face. "In a hunt, I lead. That's all. The rest involv's not razin' the ship t' timberwood! HIHIHIHIHIHI!!" he finishes, regaining his grin and wheezing his trademark high pitched raspy laugh from the back of his throat.

Luis nodded "Very well, i guess in a hunt you are the boss..... of course , any other rules we should be aware off?"

"Don' eat nobody else, unless they'r dead n' you're bone famished hihihihihi!" he finished with another laugh. "that, 'n don't feed the animals Viagra. Happen'd once, y'know," his face hinted irritation. "Brought one whole ship t' splinters n matchsticks."

He got up. "Well den, welcom' once again to our humble lil club. I trust you gents know the policy Garret was t' tell you: Hunt lik' a pro, paid lik' a prince. Good day, n make yourselves as much at home as y' can. Mistuh Finch," Willard called across the cabin to the corner, "Tell teh boys it's time t' get gone."

"C'mon Lieg," Garret said, getting up and walking out of the room, the leopard following silently.

Jake stands up " Well it looks like we're done" Jake begins to walk out the room and go look around the ship, he was happy to get out that weird room " Let's go" the gorilla stands up and begins to walk out behind Jake " Oh yea, when is our first mission?" Jake stops and turns around and look at Willy

Luis was wondering the same thing as well "What is our first assignment then Boss sir?" Luis was puffing more smoke and hoisted his rifle on his shoulder with his bag pack

Willard frowns in thought for a moment, then his face lights up, as if he had forgotten something before. "One moe' thang. You a bookworm? Dere's a small book room down belo' deck; we look through th' books in the place t' research ou' quarry. Read up th' documents dere. As for a mission," Willard grinned his toothy grin "evaluation. You and Mistuh Krieg'll have you' skills put t' the test. Startin' simple n' all. Th' first expedition'll take place after." he shuts the door without another word.

Garret sighs, as the crew unfurl the sails. "Well, you'll be evaluated, then placed in which position's best for you and Krieg. We'll be sailin' into the Grand Line from ere. It'll take a few hours, but be ready when we get to the Calm Belt. Get some good rest for a few hours, then be ready." Garret walks off, barking orders to the crew; under a dark, moonless night sky, the ship slowly picks up wind, and drifts out of the island's port.

Luis quivered with anticipation and then looked through his bag and then looked to Jake "Ill be going off to my room then, we will see the test in a couple of hours wont we?"

Ryan looks at Luis " yea shouldn't be to hard, I'm gonna go look at these books Willy was talking about" Jake begins to walk until he heard a grunt from the gorilla, he turns around "Sure ill find you something to eat" Jake then walks towards the cafeteria...
