Serious:Satoshis temporary loneliness, the path to strength. (swordsmen only)

Satoshi finally landed at the port, the town was very lively here in this island, busy streets and a huge mountain scenery, but Satoshi did not come here to play. He rustled his white hair and yawned as he sheated his sword and left the ship at the docks. He had heard rumors of a really strong swordsman that lived on top of the mountain. He still remembered the fight against gosai, he was defeated so easily, he needed another way to win. Satoshi looked up and walked on the streets, a few people saw him, and a few girls stared, but he didnt really care, he headed to the bar first, the noise inside was some what deafening. He sat down "May i please have some sake please?" The barkeeper laughed and brought the sake on to the table "Sake in the afternoon? hahahaha, you got guts kid...."
Satoshi smiled at this "yes, i used to drink alot with my friend" He remembered the drinking sessions with captain anubis and the crew, but he put it behind him for now, he was going to solve this quest first

Xane had already been an in habitant of the island for three weeks now and was always trying to hone his sword fighting skills with each passing day. He had also set it upon himself to protect the normal villagers of the town but so far he had not actually heard anything about any pirates or mountain bandits causing the citizens any problems. Xane was living quite a long distance away from the village, he thought of it as the best place to train since there were no unwanted interruptions or anything.

He would visit the village on certain days to stock up on food, water and other things but also to just have a stroll around. Xane began to make his way towards the village from his leaving forest like area and reached the village around an hour later. He had nothing special but the glowing sword on his back to show that he didn’t want to be annoyed by anyone. He walked past the bar as he was planning to just get some food but stopped just outside. Well...it seems like such a good day...i think i might mingle with the villagers. He turned his attention to the bar beside and walked in, it seemed like as soon as he walked in all the attention was on him and his sword but everyone tried not to make contact as Xane walked over to the bar man.

The bar man looked at Xane "What would you like to have today Xane?"

Satoshi looked to the man who just sat next to him. He seemed strong. Satoshi downed his sake

"Just some water today, please" Xane spoke in a nice calming toned yet he's facial expression stilled seemed to look intermediating. Xane soan round on his chair and face the whole place looking around with his elbow leaning on the bar table.

The bar keeper laughed "We got two different people here, one of them wants to drink sake during the day and the other wants water(pours into a glass) here you go Xane, i hope you dont try to challenge the mountain yet....."

Satoshi's eyes lit up, that was what he was here for, the rumors of the mountain.

Xane took the glass and just smiled at the bar man's remark before turning away as the smile turned into nothing but a line on his face. He slowly turned his head and saw the person the the barman must have been talking about on his left. he just nodded his head as a form of saying 'hello' before looking back and taking one big gulp. "So any interesting things going on that i should know about?" he asked the barman slowly putting his glass down.

The bartender held his head "Not a lot this town is small after all....."

Satoshi then finally spoke "umm, sir, i heard you talk about the mountain..., i wish to know the legends of that place...."

the bartender was about to speak when two bandits walked in and held their pistols high "OK THIS IS A ROBBERY!!!, NOBODY MOVE, OR WE WILL KILL YOU!!!!"

Satoshi was expecting hostility , but what he saw was shocking, the people in the bar made no attention to them. The bandit was pissed "OI, IM GONNA SHOOT YOUR FUCKING BRAINS OUT!!!" He stuffs the gun against a girls head. The girl simply smiles "I wouldnt do that if i were you..."

The bandit was now confused "Why the hell not?.... what?!!!!" Suddenly a giant rock hand grabbed the two bandits and crushed them in a instant, the hand revealed to belong to some sort of golem creature made out of rock. Satoshi was shocked, the golem began to walk away from the carnage and the customers simply continued. The bartender shrugged "You wanted legends, that there is a legend boy....."
Satoshi was shocked, he looked to the bartender "What was that?"
The bartender smiled "One of the 14 protectors, they all hail from the mountain, legend goes that a strong man created them once to protect this place, that man holds immense power...."

Satoshi grinned this is what he came here for.

“it looks like the plan for today as changed.” Xane just smiled as he too also walked out of the bar away from the carnage. He had known for sometime about the mountain but had never done anything because it seemed that it was actually helpful to the villagers but today was different. Xane was determined to actually find out what was going on, not so that he could stop it or anything but to just satisfy his curiosity.

He was still standing at the door looking in the direction of the mountains still holding onto the door. “I’ll be going for a while.” He said to the barman in a louder excited voice as he let go of the door closing it before beginning to make his way to the mountains.

Satoshi knew he had to leave immediately , he laid the money on the bar "Thank you bartender, for your hospitality....." Satoshi left the bar immediately to try and climb the mountain. The entrance to the mountain path was not a fast one , Satoshi kept walking through the forest to reach it "I dislike forests greatly..."

Genshi was wandering the woods.

"I should've bought the map. I think i'm getting somewere, I made a mark in that tree." he said, looking at the tree he had marked earlier.

Satoshi walked foward and then heard giant footsteps. He stood still and finally saw the thing causing the noise. It was a huge stone looking golem walking by. Satoshi braced himself for a attack, but the golem simply stared at him and then walked by doing nothing. Satoshi breathed a sigh of relief, but he still did not understand why the golem did that. He kept walking , he could see in a distance the entrance to the mountain.

((We should all meet up at the entrance, the golems wont attack in the forest, only on the mountain path. by the way the golems skin is harder than metal, it will take some effort, not to mention there are 14 of them lurking around))

Satoshi kept walking, he saw the path of the mountain, he reached it and then saw a sign board "Golems are wild beyond this point, tresspassers will die..." Satoshi sighed, what a great sign to start off his climb, but he slowly unsheated his sword and took a step foward, it was time to start.

Satoshi kept walking up the mountain path, it was snowy and pine trees everywhere. Satoshi kept walking until suddenly he heard loud footsteps. Satoshi braced himself, and turned around to see a giant Golem's hand slamming down aiming for him. Satoshi jumps to the side barely dodging, if he had taken on the golem's fist , his sword would shatter. He fully lifted his sword out "Interesting, lets see if i can cut you......"

Xane had noticed that the newcomer had also made his way towards the mountain, he didn't really know what his goal was but he was curious to find out. Xane followed him but as he went through the entrance, Xane stopped reading the sign aswell as he paused. He was thinking to himself about how he had noticed that the last golem hadn't attacked the other person so maybe this sign was serious, well just in case he was ready to unsheathe his sword at anytime. He continued to walk on but lost sight of the person, he stopped for a few seconds but thought of the sign again, Maybe it's not too smart to stay in one place. Xane continued to walk towards the direction that he thought the main path of the mountain was.

Satoshi was barely fighting for his life, one golem was so tough to bring down at the moment, none of his attacks were working , he was thinking of a plan until he saw the guy from the bar. Satoshi dodged another powerful slam from the golem "HEY YOU!!!" Satoshi sees the guy trying to walk up the path Satoshi turns around and uses flash step and Bolt Multipla, launching high power thrusts into the golem, but it wasnt having any effect.

A second giant golem blocks Xanes path and aims a heavy slam at him

Genshi was getting annoyed, he was sure he had passe the same tree 5 times now. He looked around and saw a different road. He felt embarassed, not seeing it before. He followed it and found a sign.

"Tresspassers will die, huh? I'll take that challenge." He ran up the mountain path as fast as he could.

"I bet theres an adventure up here, somewhere."

Satoshi was bleeding from the side of his face now, he wasnt badly injured , but he was getting more and more tired , he drew his sword carefully and looked for a sign of victory, but it was blank, the golem continued attacking mercilessly. Satoshi used pure speed to dodge. Then as he was on the ground, he saw a opening , a chance for victory, but it was small and very difficult, he would have to try...

Genshi started getting cold.

"Where did all this snow come from?" he said to himself.

He started hearing giant footsteps, and what souned like someone getting beat. He decided to keep walking, hands on his swords.

Satoshi saw the opening, there was only one way to beat this thing, he saw the crack, in the golems underbelly area, the stone had a crack in it, if he could thrust powerful enough into it, he would be able to crack it, he focused all his energy into his feet. And got into stance "Almighty Lightning Beast WILD FANG!!!!" He lunged at zig zag ultra speed, and finally appeared in multiple , The golem struck and missed giving Satoshi the opening to the underbelly, Satoshi slammed a power thrust into the crack, and then thrusted about 4 more times, before lunging to the side with a perfect landing. Satoshi sheated his sword and breathed out heavily "One down..." the golem finally falls.

(oh wow, sorry for not posting, i completely forgot about this )

As Xane was on his way up the path he felt a presence close by, and in almost like a flash he found himself in line with an attack from one of the golem, like the one he had seen before. He didn't really have much time to react by countering so instead he leaped into the sky away from the golem and landing on a tree as he got his sword out. Xane could see that the golem was still closing in on him but this Xane was gonna confront it. At this point Xane was way into the fight so he completely ignored the other person from the bar as it would just distract him, one thing he did realize though was that he had been able to defeat the golem. Xane rushed towards it as fast as he could with Kairo at hand ready to slash. He leap up and over the golem, as he landed behind he slash the golem back from the head downwards but as he landed he was immediately sent flying by the golem punch as it span round instantly. "Crap" As Xane plunged into a tree breaking it, he noticed that his attack was only able to nothing but a scratch or crack running all down the golem's back. He slowly got up and brushed the dirt off himself as he look up at the golem slowly drawing closer to him as Xane thought of how he might be able to defeat it.

Satoshi appeared from behind and sliced the golem in the area he discovered. It was easy because the golem was pre occupied with that funny marine guy. The golem fell down and Satoshi sheated his sword "Those things have only one weakness you know, its the cracks on their back. Its small so you gotta aim and hope he doesnt notice...., your the guy in the bar right?"

"I thought that might have been obvious but yeah i am." Xane said as walked making his way out of the ruble. "Why are you coming to the mountain...do you know how dangerous it is meant to be?" He asked as he continued on the path more alert than before, it was like he didn't even wait for a reply from the other person.

Satoshi followed "Im after something that is at the top of the mountain..... My family told me about this place when i was younger, it is a very powerful weapon up there....."

Xane stopped and turned to the person for a while,"Just so you know, i'm only going there to satisfy my curiosity, the golems do not seem like they are hurting any villager but instead protecting them. I hope that when you take this...'weapon' that you do not do anything to change that...alright?" He said almost like he was trying to threaten him into not doing anything to disturb the peace. For now Xane did not care if the person was a marine, pirate or whatever, he was only focused on finding out the secrets of the mountain.

Satoshi looked around "I honestly do not know..., something is wrong , the golems have stopped attacking us.... why?" Satoshi was now concerned.

"Ummm...maybe we are close or something" Xane said still very alert with Kairo gripped tightly into his hands.
