Serious: The Aurora Pirates Part 2: Rest, Relaxation, and Assassination

(OOC: Sorry i was busy with some stuff)

Kagirinai was under a mast eating a bar of titanium. he was useless at the current moment so let the others deal with the problems. he was out of metals and needed to consume more.

(Good. You are back. I understand having something to do in real life. Do what you must. Anyhow, this brings us to the end of this RP. Now for the epilogue and then we move on.)

Epilogue: The man was sitting in his darkened room once more. The chess board in front of him had been changed drastically. The pieces were now scattered across the board. He leaned forward looking over the board critically. The Marines had moved in on his territories in the south, near to the Grand Line. They had taken several of his bases and killed many of his men. Many pirates were also moving in that same direction, but from the north, trapping him in between both groups. It was becoming a problem for him to hold off all of these people. His snail phone rang and he reached over and picked up the receiver.

"What is it?" he asked.

"It's the Silent Pirates, sir," a voice said on the other end of the line. "They were defeated by that rogue group of pirates, the one's who have moved into your territory."

The barest flash of anger appeared on the man's face, but then it was gone. "Do we now know the name of these pirates?" he asked, keeping his voice calm.

"Negative, sir," the voice replied. "They did not say who they were."

The man was silent for several moments before saying, "Keep an eye on them. Let me know of their movements."

"Sir?" the voice sounded surprised. "Shouldn't we attack them?"

"We tried that already or have you forgotten?" the man snapped, his cool demeanor breaking for a moment.

"I'm sorry sir," the voice said quickly. "I meant no disrespect. It is just that...there are plenty of others who are vastly more powerful then the Silent Pirates."

"Yes," the man conceded. "There are. However, it is always wise to know as much as you can about your enemy before you strike."

"Yes sir," the voice replied.

The man hung up and focused back on his chess board. He moved a knight and captured a pawn. This move was safe, but moved the knight into a more dangerous position. Just like those pirates. The man smiled slightly. They would move deeper into his trap and then he would have them. No one escaped from him.
