[SERIOUS] CHAPTER 2: Blue-Band Pirates set sail!: The Mysterious Cunning Cook

Rhyme had little time to react as the bottle of tar went flying toward him. "Crap," was all he muttered before jumping back, crossing his arms as a last ditch defense. The gunslinger shot the tar and it exploded; the force alone carried Rhyme back as the heat seared him and tiny shards of glass cut him. He barely managed to stay on his feet after the explosion, stumbling for balance.

"This isn't good," he said looking at the wall of fire in from of the group. "He' going to get away. Hey! Chef guy," he asked turning towards Julian. "Can you do something about the flames? I know you can make ice anyway."

Max started to sprint the complete opposite direction that Rhyme and his friends are in right now, He quickly went into a dark ally and started to jump on the walls to get to the roof. Once he had done that he pushed his legs to get faster and started jumping roof from roof. He planned on taking out Ko's ship so there will be no escape.

Ko started to cough as the fire started to eat at the place around them, "Damn it, what now?" Ko thought as he looked at Julian, "Oi, mind using that ice technique?" he yelled to Julian's direction. He then looked at Rhyme and said "Rhyme, can't you use that Echo Effect technique so we can take out the flames or something?" After saying this he realized the bounty hunter was now escaping on roof-tops. "Darn it, Callen please notice this guy..."

"Use Echo Effect on the fire? Do you have any idea how stupid that suggestion is!? What am I going to do, vibrate the flames out?" Rhyme shouted at Ko completely frustrated by the situation. They had to do something.

"Captain, you keep chasing the guy; me and the cook will catch up later." And then without waiting Rhyme changed. In an instant he was replaced by a twelve foot tall slug monster, slim dripping everywhere. With one chubby hand it grabbed Ko. "Go get him captain," said a deep, lethargic voice as it tossed the red head towards Max the gunman. "Throw a punch in for me!" the slug said sluggishly.

"YOSH! Thanks Rhyme!" Ko yelled as he flew on top of a nearby building, he then started to sprint after the bounty hunter jumping form roof to roof getting faster every minute. Max turned around to only see Ko chasing after him "Stupid kid..." Max muttered as he got out a gun and placed a smoke bomb inside it. "This should teach you a lesson..." he whispered as he started to aim for Ko. "Hehe, I know that trick..." Ko said as he leaped towards Max and grabbed onto his coat making the two men fall off the buildings and onto the floor.

Rhyme allowed a small grin to slip as his captain soared towards the enemy. He really did pick a good crew to join. "Oi, cook! Help me with these flames," he said slowly in his hybrid slug form. Rhyme started to ooze a lot of slime, gluey strands hanging from his mouth he dripped onto the fire. It was a slow process, though he statred to make progress through his side of the fire, eventually making a gap big enough for him to get through. With no hesitation he feel to his stomach, opting to use Slimedog Luge to get to the fight quicker, sliding on his ooze covered belly to the battle.

[Nikz is in other country and might not be able to post for the next few days]

As soon as Ko hit the ground he charged towards the bounty hunter directing his fist right for his face. "Pathetic.." the hunter thought as he cocked his head a little to the left dodging the punch, he then pushed his gun towards Ko's forehead to get him to step backwards however Ko bent down and span his body right so that he tripped the hunter. Once he had done this he quickly stood on both of his hands and directed the back of his body towards the falling hunter's belly making the hunter hit the ground more harder than expected (Similar to a hammer) "Heh, who's laughing now Mr.Hunter?"

Sliding around on the ground, Rhyme followed the fight with his heightened hearing. It took him a few moments to catch up to Ko and the other; he did make it in time though to catch his captain slam the bounty hunter.

"Good job captain," said Rhyme evenly.
