Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All) Empty
PostSubject: Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All)   Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All) Icon_minitimeFri Jul 13, 2012 2:03 am

Kanhoji did an uncharacteristic frown as he look through the stacks of bounty posters and some Intel on the.... on some marines that he deems interesting. He is proud to say that not all are actually stolen and illegally acquired..... Most but not all.
The frown soon turns to a grin, over the fact that marines and pirates have been appearing like cockroaches much too quickly for anyone's taste. But he's more actually giddy at the fact that he had more people to look dirt on. A crud way to put it but that is how he is. Kanhoji Into- one of the most dangerous people in the sea because simply of his knowledge. He knows too much. And he's proud of it.
Not that his sister could say the same thing.
Whenever he sprout out information like as if he's a computer of some sort, she was always hitting him as if it was a crime. What? They wanted to know the truth and so he tells them the truth.......... It's not his fault that the lady major is actually ugly..... And the fact that what he said got them ran out at the last island but he was totally justified with his own opinion!!! Even his sister admit that she was ugly....
He grumbles at the beating he got soon after but brushed it off as if it didn't happened hours before (and it has).
But now, they are on their way to an island that is close by in the Grandline, though he wasnt sure what the island is. This is his first time visiting it but he was sure that if he heard the name that he'll know what it's about.

"Nnnnneeeee-ccchhhaaaannnnnn~ Are we there yet?" Complained Kanhoji as he groans, already bored. And that's never a good thing.

PostSubject: Re: Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All)   Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All) Icon_minitimeFri Jul 13, 2012 7:49 pm

The seas were calm and the wind was for once not a real pain in the ass, lurching the boat this way and that. Amari stared at the map, ignoring her brother though it was clear to anyone that she was extremely irritated what with the growing deadly aura as she tried to stick to one task at a time. She knew they had been at the sea for quite a while and that her brother was surely bored by now…clearly.
She sighed and looked up from the map and compass and every pencil that was rolling around. The red headed girl stretched her arms high above her head then pulled a hair tie from her wrist and wrapped her troublesome red hair into a lousy ponytail but at least it was out of the way. She turned to look over her shoulder at her brother and sighed slightly, unsure of what to do with him. It wouldn’t take long to get to the island but she wasn’t sure Kanhoji would last for much longer.

“Kanhoji, if you are so bored then maybe you want to take another trip into the water and be dragged along with the current?”

She threatened with slight menace in her voice yet an eerie pleasant smile crossed her lips as she looked to her brother in a seemingly harmless manner. Already his boredom was beginning to bug her because who else to bother on the ship besides his sister. And if they didn’t make it to the island, she was afraid she would be dragging along a beat up unrecognizable piece of flesh than her brother.

PostSubject: Re: Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All)   Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All) Icon_minitimeFri Jul 13, 2012 8:13 pm

Kanhoji slightly paled though he was actually considering it.
Yes, he was that bored. Other than the paperwork that he could do and such; there is nothing else for the eldest sibling to do. As much as he likes to look up dirt on others, it gets boring after a while going through a tiring routine that he does to get info on whatever victim he decided to pick.

"Demo..... I'm bored!!!" Kanhoji whined not understanding his sister tendency of violence towards him. She makes it as if it's a crime for him to be bored (that's because his boredom usually leads to trouble). "Can't you give a little mercy to your own big brother?"
A pout is visibly seen on his face as he gives his sister some big teary eyes- more out of habit than on purpose.

Yes people, he's just that bored.

PostSubject: Re: Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All)   Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All) Icon_minitimeFri Jul 13, 2012 8:29 pm

Amari sighed and tried not to hit her brother though the temptation was beginning to become rather hard to resist. Right now of all times when they are less than thirty minutes away from the island is when he begins to act up and Amari knew that this wasn't simply going to be a thirty minute wait. It would drag on and on with Kanhoji's complaints and she would find no peace. Though seeing as how he did seem to consider the idea, she was more than willing to kick his butt over board just to get there quietly because she knew he wouldn't dare speak up when in the water because Amari could just as easily cut the rope that connected the life raft and the boat.
Rubbing the back of her head, she stared emotionlessly at her brothers classic puppy dog face but it would appear that she was unfazed. She shook her head, rolled her eyes and return to the wheel of her vessel, wondering if there was anything she could do to help her brother in some way.

"We're less than twenty five minutes away. Can't you last for that long?"

Though she asked she knew it was impossible, she also couldn't think of anything for her brother to do besides wait and do his work which she was sure was fun for him but after dedicating for so long, he must have grown sick of it in a manner of speaking...She just hoped he wouldn't do anything to annoy her.

"Do what you want, explore the boat. Find something around here to amuse yourself with."

Amari had collected tons of little trinkets from her journeys, with and without Kanhoji, surely there was something on here that could shut him up for just half an hour.

"That's too long!!!" Kanhoji whined once more, collasping on the deck as he looks up at the sky with another one of his pouts.
At this rate, he practically encouraging marines and pirates to come and attack him. The adventure, the fighting, the exciting- if fighting for his life bring those things, then he'll take what he got.

Hearing what his sister said (his ear distinctively twitch at the permission) he brings in a mischievous grin.
Quietly, he sneaks over to the direction of his sister's room, curious to know what's there.

PostSubject: Re: Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All)   Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All) Icon_minitimeSat Jul 14, 2012 10:51 pm

Amari sighed as she heard her brother and hoped the fates would grant his wish and send something troublesome her way. She would kill her older brother if that happened. The red haired teen scrambled through her maps as she tried to figure out just how long it would take so she wouldn't have to deal with her troublesome brother for much longer. Figuring she might as well she what she could restock some of the things she would need. She would have to check the few technologies on her boat and look over food supplies because they had been at sea and her idiot brother had been chowing down like crazy on whatever he could find in her food stock. Grabbing a pencil and paper, she walked away from the map, checking the direction and the weight on the wheel to make sure it wouldn't stray off course, she headed down to the engine room and started checking around and prodding the few things she had doubts about. Amari didn't care right now about what her brother was doing, she probably should have but right now she just wanted him out of her hair so she could get some work done before they made it to the island.

Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All)   Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All) Icon_minitimeSat Jul 14, 2012 10:59 pm

Kanhoji quietly slips into the room of his sister.
All he's going to do is look around- nothing more. Simple and very innocent gesture (though breaking into his sister's room is anything but innocent.
He's just going to snoop around a little, he wouldn't touch anything.... that he doesn't deem interesting enough.

So he went and look around. The whole place is rather neat though there are some messes here and there. Like her desk- which obviously would be the messiest thing in this room.
He silently walked over to the desk and scan her work and ideas, smiling slightly as he mumbles something about how his sister is growing up and becoming a great shipwright without him. It kinda makes him sad in a way- his sister is growing up faster than he thought. But that's fine with him; he loves her that way.

He looks at the wall clock in the room to see that there is only 12 minutes till they reach the next island, making him grin.

PostSubject: Re: Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All)   Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All) Icon_minitimeSat Jul 14, 2012 11:18 pm

Amari checked and rechecked the engine feeling paranoid that there was something wrong but everytime she would step back, the inspection would be a clean one and there was nothing wrong. Running a hand over the special metal she figured that it would be safe to begin her experiments. She had had a design in mind to help the boat run faster for longer but had yet to put it to the test. Adding that to a mental checklist, she stepped over to the few pieces and bits of metal that lay around the room and then frowned for a moment as she finally noticed a stillness to the air around her. It was strange for things to be so....peaceful. there wasn't any crashing from above and there wasn't anything down below either. Feeling uncomfortable with this, ironically, she figured she better check on her brother to make sure that nothing was going wrong and that he wasnt where he was not suppose to be. Out of the thoughtlessness on which she entered the room, and the concentration upon exiting, she hadn't noticed the smothering creature on the rafters in the engine room till it fell on top of her.
With a girly ahriek, she nearly fell to the ground herself until she realized that it was Sukai, a small white baby dragon that she and Kanhoji had picked up on an island. Sighing silently and praying to the fates that Kanhoji hadn't heard her and her frightened sound, she pet the creature on the head and stood up straight as the small dragon snorted and found comfort on a resting spot on her shoulder. She stepped up stairs and made her way into the back, looking around the hallway for the kitchen.

PostSubject: Re: Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All)   Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All) Icon_minitimeSat Jul 14, 2012 11:26 pm

Kanhoji continues to snoop around in the room; looking under the bed, the drawers, the closets and whatever there is where stuff would be.
He finds himself disappointment at the fact that there isn't really anything remotely interesting in her room with the exception of the papers and blueprints that are on the desk but nothing that really catches his mind. And because of the fact that he would destory whatever he touches, he didn't touch any of his sister's work..... as tempting as that sounds...
Great, now he's bored once again.

Grumbling, he begins to get out of the room; well at least they are getting pretty close to the island already. He can see it in the horizon from the windows of his sister's room.
But he was hoping dearly that his sister would have a diary- like what girls around her age usually would have though he failed to comput that his sister isn't as girly as he likes her to be.
When he mets a completely girly girl, he would get his sister to befriend her hoping that Amari would learn something from her.

Going up to where his sister is, he gives her a look of disappointment though he wasn't sure if she saw his expression.
"Why don't you have a diary?" He asked without putting anything thinking into what he said.

PostSubject: Re: Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All)   Journey to the Deep-End (Open to All) Icon_minitimeSat Jul 14, 2012 11:55 pm

Amari stroked under Sukai's chin as she glanced down at her list and then inspected the fridge once more. Surprised at the lack of food, she had added quite a bit to the checklist she had made and would have a heck of fun trying to get the ingredients to her boat unless she could find a trustfull errand boy to do her work for her which she really wouldn't mind doing. Beside knicknnacks she gathered from her journeys she utterly had next to nothing on her because she found herself at a constant struggle to keep up with money and collect treasure. She wasn't one of those pirates. Checking to make sure she had everything she wanted, she slipped the list into her pocket, checked to make sure she had her hammer near and then finally took off back into the hallway, closing and locking the kitchen door to keep him from creeping back in here. Just as she had turned the lock, her brother stepped out of her room which would normally infuriated her that he would dare to do such a thing but the look of disappointment on his face cut her short and she blinked in surprise at the comment he added in justice to what he was doing. Hearing an amused throaty purr come from the dragon that counted to her shoulder, she walked to her room and placed a hand on the door which activated a lock from within. A metal click came from within and she sighed, another design by her to keep Kanhoji from entering because Ye wouldn't be able to get in without having the power to push and pull metal like she did.
Smirking rather innocently in a cute and delicate manner, she stepped past her brother and said quite simple.
"Did you check past the massive amounts of blue prints and drawings to the blue book with Mechanics on the front? It's not a book but a case for my diary. But it can only be opened with a specific function of pulling the lock out of its place."
A design fit for her Devil Fruit. She stroked Sukai's chin once more as she stepped up to the helm of her boat and watched the island come into view.

Kanhoji looks a bit happier at the fact that his -rather violent and tomboyish- sister actually kept a diary; the first sign of girliness.
Tears are actually weld up in his eyes as he nodded in approval, a tissue in his hand.
"It's nice to know that I actually have a sister and not a brother." He admitted out loud.
He wasn't all the disappointed in not getting the diary. Unlike what he does to the rest of the world, he actually respects his sister's privacy... at times.
In the back of his mind, he's planning to try and pick on that lock she mentioned. It might takes weeks or months but he'll crack it if he wants...

It was then that he saw Sukai that he decided to glomp both him and his sister- only to fall asleep seconds after.
It's a wonder how he could do that- get knock out cold as soon as he tries to cuddle with his sister. And they were only a few minutes away from the island.....

Amari blinked and then growled at her brother for saying something so stupid. She was about to turn around and hit him but the hustle and bustle of the docks for the better of her attention and she placed her hands on the wheel and watched carefully at the small people as they worked around in the docks. She didn't notice her brother having an emotional moment at the fact that he just learned that she had a diary.
It was embarrassing but true and she knew there would be no way that he would figure it out anytime soon cause she would make the lock even more complicated by the time he figured it out. She smirked at the thought but it didn't last long until she felt Kanhoji hug her and she blinked in surprise before realizing he was out in zero seconds.
"Are you kidding me?!"
She yelled. They were no more than three minutes away and he had to pass out NOW of all times. Sukai yelped and hurred making Amari sigh and try to nudge her brother awake with a sharp jab to the gut a few times.

Sooner or later after several sharp jabs to his gut, he was finally stirred awake but not before cuddling with their newest addition to the family cooing at how cute Sukai is.
Well, his intention at first was to cuddle with the dragon, not sleep on his sister. But his sister was soooo comfy.....

Well, it was then that Kanhoji notice that they are just coming into the docks and doing what he wanted to do since he have gotten very bored 30 minutes ago- he already ran off into the crowd and decided to go make mayhem.
Well, no he didn't attend to but when he has that mischevious expression on his face and that big grin- that does mean trouble...

Amari sighed in relief as she noticed the idiot wake up and take off for the island. She stretched her back once more before sighing once again and she grabbed a sweatshirt from under the navigation table and slipped it on. Looking over her shoulder, she waited for Sukai to get fitted on her back before she loosened her hairtail a bit to a lower form and concealed the little white dragon head that peeped out. A hurr of annoyance was heard which she otherwise ignored and instead turned off the machine of the boat and jumped off, looking around before spotting a stand nearby selling a vegetable of some sort. Stepping up, she asked for information about a trustworthy errand boy and set off of her trip to find him.
It wouldn't take long since he was supposed to be loitering around here anyway. Amari wondered what her brother was up to because that smirk on his race was a little discouraging to the thought that he was going to try and act like a good guy.

Kanhoji looked around as much as he can, processing the town as much as he can. He had been taking pictures, acting like a tourist as he tries to take as much pictures as he can of the town- including the townspeople. Many of them are very plain but he could see some pirates that are around time either just walking around or making mischief. He didn't really care at the moment but he did find it rather interesting. It's a rather lawless town but the people here in the town are rather strong enough to defend themselves against them and such.
He looks left and right for anything even more interesting in his sight and see a bar around the corner. There is always something rather interesting in these bars. Without much a thought, he walked towards the bar, hoping to find some interesting people or just something rather interesting really.

Amari walked through the streets, looking left and right for the tan little boy who was rumored to be able to help her with her much needed restock on food. Sukai hurred and poked his head out of the hoodie, sniffing the air then sneezing a small puff of smoke when Amari's hair got in his face. The teen chuckled and walked into an alley, blinking as she found herself in an alley that held quite a few kids and they all looked to her as she stepped forward, looking around for the errand boy.
"An old geezer at the docks said that an errand boy named Lamar would be able to help me with some chores. Is he here?"
The children looked around and said nothing till a tan boy of about ten years old stepped up and nodded. Paying him half of what he worked for, says promised to pay the rest after the job was done then gave him a seperate bag of money to pay for the food. Both walked out or the alley and headed in different directions. Amari stroked Sukai's chin and looked around as she walked through the streets once again. Let's see. What else did she need to do....?
