Arkas drifted eerily to a small port town, following the ocean breeze. Breathing in the briney air, the flavorful scent of salt overpowered the taste of blood drifting in his mind; the gloomy spike poking into his disturbed past was hidden by the spirit of adventure. However to Arkas, death and adventure come hand in hand, like salt and pepper on a dining table. He reluctantly stepped off the ship worried about everything. As his mind shifted over fifty different things he would say to the first person he met, none of them would matter. The situation, however friendly was slow. The only way to change, was to destroy, so this town would be dealing with something harsh. They would be dealing with the reconstruction of the world, first hand.

He hadn't reached the town yet, but he did not need to yet. He produced a small capsule of the black liquid inside the sweaty palm of his right hand, and wiped away the sweat from his brow with his left. The dockworkers looked at him for a second, and turned away to go back to their jobs carrying carts of fruits, ale, and other pearishable items. They sighed, the town was not keen to outsiders, especially not when they look so out of place. He did not care though, they did not need to feel pleasant to die. They simply needed to be there.

Arkas moved toward them sluggishly, the heat singeing away his strength. Each drop of sweat falling from his face was like one less person he could kill. He needed to be efficient, or get away without a conflict starting. He did not like to leave these dockworkers alive, they stood for nothing, and never could. That means, they needed to die for Arkas' goals to be achieved. He stepped forwards, but fell down feebly. One of the dockworkers moved toward him, and inspected him. Judging by his temperature, and the lack of water on his vessel, it was easy to tell he was dehydrated, or as the less than civil dockworker would say, "needing water."

Kaen lightly opened his eyes. It had been a cool day and he guessed he had been out for a few days. He felt with his hand the soft sheet of a silk bed. He had been rescued and nursed back to health. He looked around and noticed an elderly man making tea.
"Oh your up, how was you dreams?" asked the man. Kaen sat up slowly and rubbed his head.
"Suprisingly, Good" Kaen said. The man gave him tea and Kaen smiled and drank some. The man looked at Kaen.
"I have work to get to, make yourselves at home. And sorry for eaves dropping, there is food and beatiful knoves in the kitchen. Make something to repay me" he said smiling and left to work.

Kaen breathed and exhaled. He looked through the window.
