umm theirs a reason I said many of his nerve endings were burnt out when he was being tortured, the metal is an extenuation of his consciousness meaning that it can be moved as easily (and often faster and more accurately) than normal functioning body parts, the metal in his system takes place of the nervous system in terms of movement, his ability is not like telekinesis where you need to concentrate to move things because any metal he is manipulating is TOUCHING him (otherwise he could not move it) , and the metal in his body and his brain by extenuation... I've thought him through very thoroughly

But with such internal wounds damage would be magnified, the metal wouldn't help him at all because of the trade.

the metal is PART of the bodies' structure, (its listed in his abilities that he can NOT take damage from metal and that includes his own) and anyway I don't see how your spontaneous creation of unlimited needles made of some unknown eliment is any less far fetched

It's not farfetched, but the idea of him using the metal to move himself could be. The thing isn't of a mysterious element, I just have to find it out. Actually, Rasher's ability is vary plausible, but very dangerous as well.

oh I just remembered you were right about this, because in part 2 Rasher finds that his training is becoming less and less fruitful, and he reaches a point where he can no longer get any stronger, the later on when he dies and finds himself in the spirit world he meets up with Ira who explains that his use of metal inside himself had allowed him to become incredibly strong but also set a limit for how powerful he could get, due to its immense wear on the body and that if he wanted to advance farther from that point he would need to get that strong again with OUT using internal metal in his new body and from tehn on only using the internal metal as a last resort

That sounds pretty right. As metal cannot grow stronger from excercise, muscle would be better to use even if it seems weak in the beginning.
