Dante smiled when the man clapped and watched the woman lay back on her chair. She looked relaxed, and seemed at a loss of words at Dante's choice of music.. even if it was chosen because the book was left open at that point. Dante looked at the two and couldn't help but paint a picture pf seeing their faces on his ship.. but he knew it probably wasn't meant to be. They haven't shown their true devotion yet, although being in this bar speaks for itself.. the true test will be tomorrow. Dante sighed and looked to his left, at the window outside, and noticed a figure.. several to be honest. There were five shadows on top of one building, they were poking their heads out trying to spot Dante through the small window. Dante could see them because his perception was high enough, they could barely see Dante from the height of the building.

Dante suddenly grew a sphere from his palm and hurled it through the window, shattering it and continuing towards the five shadows. By the time they noticed the sphere coming at them it was too late. Some of them tried to get up and jump backwards, thinking the sphere was like a canon ball and that it had to hit something to work. However, the sphere stopped only inches away from one of them and suddenly erupted into a large sand tornado. All of the corpses flew from the sky and fell close to the bar. More zombies were now outside. Only four bodies fell to the ground though, that meant one of them turned into sand. Dante looked at the two in front of him, this time he had an apologetic look (his hand was behind his head)

"Looks like we'll have to leave earlier then expected, hehe. At midnight tonight we'll have to leave to the capital, I'd wager my sand abilities that those men are spies. If they're not back by tomorrow the king will definitely be suspicious.. we can't attack them in daylight like this, and they wouldn't attack us in here, so we have no better choice then sleeping here for tonight." With that Dante stood up and walked up the stairs, "If you don't believe me check the bodies. They were just outside looking at us from the top of a building.. they might have weapons." Dante walked upsairs and waited for the others to do the same. They only had about 7 hours of sleep left, plus an extra thirty minutes (but people usually use those to bathe, eat, and get ready for bed). It didn't take long for Dante to step in front of the bed and fall forward (and asleep), it's been a long day for him.

Ikari would continue to roll about on the straw, moving from side to side. Sharply opening her eyes, Ikari would lay down on her stomach, face into the pile of straw. She couldn't get comfy. This was definitely a problem for here. Looking about in her cell, Ikari looked at the straw that lay around the place. It was scattered everywhere. Slowly picking herself up, she would shuffle across the cell lethargically. She needed to move all, or at least most, of the straw to a large pile. That way, she could at least have a tiny amount of comfort as she slept in this cramped cell. After a few minutes, Ikari had collected the straw in her cell into a fairly pitiful pile in the corner. It was strange. It seems as if half of the straw she had started out with was missing. Ikari moved towards the bar of her cell, drawing in a deep breath;
"Oi! Thick-skulled Guard!"

For a few moments, nothing happened. Soon though, a soft grumbling noise emerged from the silence as a figure appeared in the darkness, moving towards Ikari's cell. Stopping dead in front of Ikari, the guard looked down at her, glaring as she had woken him up from his seemingly eternal rest;
"Wha' dya wan'?"
Ikari stared at the man directly in his eyes. There was no wavering in her voice as she spoke to the man who's job it was to keep her in this cell. Not that the man could really do anything if she wanted to escape;
"I need more straw. Half of what was originally here is gone."
A hearty chuckle escaped from the man's lips. He looked about in Ikari's cage, looking at the small pile of straw in the corner;
"No' ma faul' if ya gone an' ate the straw."
The man would spit on the floor in front of Ikari, turning away. Ikari would sigh to herself, leaving the bar of her cell to go back to her pitiful pile of straw. She would have to get some back somehow. Ikari slumped down, lying back on the pile. Closing her eyes, Ikari attempted to lull herself into sleep, with or without the comfort of any bedding below her.

The sudden sound of smashing glass immediately caught her attention. Diana opened her eyes and bolted upright while covering her head with her arms out of reflex. Speeding over to the window she looked out to see additional corpses littering the ground. Dante's explanation comforted her little. If anything, it made her increasingly on edge after being lulled into a state of relaxation moments earlier. How rude of someone to send people to watch them so soon, and after such a pleasant performance. It would be difficult to get much shuteye at all knowing that there could be more of them on the way. She believed Dante's explanation, and he had a valid point; they had to attempt getting some sleep before this ordeal.

"See you in the morning," Diana muttered, preoccupied as usual with her thoughts. The stairs on her climb up were uncomfortably creaky, but she was able to find an unoccupied room. She closed the door behind her and hung her leather coat on a peg. Fluffing her pillow in an attempt to make the bed look a bit more appealing, Diana laid on her back and gazed at the worn patterns in the ceiling. Even though the days happenings left her exhausted she found it difficult to fall asleep immediately. It could have been due to nerves potentially, or the thought of more shady individuals lurking outside. Only after some time had passed staring at the ceiling did sleep finally give way.

The night passed and the revolutionaries rested. Little did they know that fate was slowly inching all of them in the same direction; Ikari the Cyborg, rested in her cell for the entire day while the other revolutionaries did the same. Soon the late evening struck the land and the skies turned dark. The soon-to-be revolutionaries will wake-up to a very still night, or so it seemed. In reality, for most of these people, this night will remain engraved in their heads for the rest of their lives.. assuming they survive.

Dante woke-up to total darkness. Nobody bothered to leave a candle on, or any source of light, before going to bed.. which meant the night's light was really the only thing illuminating the room (which was basically nothing). Dante yawned and rubbed his eyes for a moment. He will have to hold off on his usual morning bath; he'll have to head directly to the room bellow to wake up everyone. He stood up, stretching a little more, and started to walk through the hallway and into the room underneath, it was hard for even Dante to see in the dark.. and his perception was high. He picked up yesterday's instrument, still a bit groggy, and started playing it without the bow to play it (he was too tired to look for the bow). He hoped the people would wake up instantly. Today was a day for war.

The music in the air perked her attention and interrupted her slumber, but much more pleasantly than a rude wake up call.  Diana lifted her head from the pillow, eyes partially opened.  She would most certainly prefer to remain sleeping at this time of night.  It was unnatural to be up this late when the sun wasn't out.  Carefully Diana made her way out of the bedroom, extending her hands out in front of herself to avoid bumping into anything too clumsily in the dark.  After some fumbling around, she eventually made it to the bathroom and took the time to wash her face as well as run her fingers through her lengthy hair.  It was far from a perfectly ideal morning routine but she had little choice in the matter given the lack of light and supplies.  As she left the washroom she separated her hair into strands and started to braid it over he shoulder.

Her thoughts and hair fidgeting consumed most of her energy, and the stairs ended up being much nearer than anticipated.  The very moment Dante had finished his tune, Diana took a rather clumsy tumble down the length of steps.  A handful of thuds later she landed with a face plant on the wood floor below.  She conceded to her fallen fate for a moment before sitting upright.  No major harm done except maybe to her pride.  Hopefully neither of the other two mistook the short-lived commotion as a threat, or heard it at all.

"Ooww..."  she sleepily groaned, rubbing the part of her cheek that met the floor.  Such a splendid way to start a day.  It was still difficult to see, but she figured she only had a few minor scrapes and bruises by the feeling of things.

PostSubject: Re: West Blue: A Kingdom at War   West Blue: A Kingdom at War - Page 3 Icon_minitimeWed Apr 23, 2014 1:14 am

Gale was paying attention at Dante's movement. One glass of whisky had and would never be enough to throw him off mental balance, but he sure was having a hard time managing his emotions on risking his life in a mission he didn't even planned to join. Now that he thought about it... They were supposed to attack this bar to kill the ex-King, but he saw no ex-King anywhere close. Maybe he was hiding somewhere in the bar, but Gale prefered not to know. He had already decided that he would help this Kingdom out. Why he did it? He knew not. He liked to believe it was his inner sense of justice. This state of trance in which he was made him see everything through other eyes, Dante's attack, movements and reactions were happening in slow motion.

The glass broke as the sand attack was projected through it. Gale's mind picked up each shard of glass individually and saw it shatter into smaller fragments as it hit the ground. The screeching noise arrived much later in his mind, and it broke his torpor back into reality. They were being watched, observed. He was in this ship now, and there was no going back. There was no jumping overboard into tranquil waters, because there was a storm raging outside. And now he was certain, completely convinced that no Kingdom should be ruled by someone like the true King's son.

Gale nodded at Dante. He didn't need any prove in those bodies to see that they were the King's subordinates. Even if it was early, everyone was going to sleep, they were going to have to move fast and wise in these times of war. It could probably be useful to remove the weapons from the spies who were now subjugated by their own bodies against the hard ground of the street. Alone, because the chef was sure that in moments of death there was nothing more than solitude. He knew it first hand. Gale stood up and heard Diana's farewell.

"Have a good night of sleep." - It had been fun to talk to her before, she seemed like an interesting person. He also watched Dante go up. He followed. The wooden boards creaked beneath his feet, causing the atmosphere to resemble that of a haunted house. It made him evoke his own house a long time ago, where his footseps creaked on the wooden floor of the porche. He had decided to go into piracy and gave up on that, and now he was thinking about revolution. But wasn't that the real reason why he decided to leave his house? Revolution. Going against the world. Against the dirty government. Maybe he should consider being named one officially...

He walked into an empty room, one that was pretty close to the bathroom, took his clothes off and laid down on top of the bed. Of course he had some other clothes in his pouch. He folded the used ones, except for the pants, and replaced the apparels inside of the pouch. He stared at the ceiling, and he did for a long time, not being able to sleep.

***

When the sound of the bass filled the room, almost like an aroma, Gale's eyes opened and stared at the ceiling. He didnt remember falling asleep. In the current darkness, the wooden beams on top of his head seemed to stare back at him, exploring his almost naked body. He had fallen asleep on top of the blankets. He stood up, took his clothes in his arms and headed to the bathroom. He took a quick, silent bath, rubbing every part of his body with certain parsimony and care. When he came out of the bathroom, now fully dressed, he saw Diana walking towards the bathroom just as he walked back into his own room.

The sound of the music had given the night a mysterious tone that marked strongly the song that represented the mission they were part of. Gale organized his stuff in the dark, his eyes were already accustomed to the low light levels. His belonging were all packed up. The clothes he was wearing weren't fancy at all... He didn't want to ruin any good pair of pants, any t-shirt or any piece of clothing in general if he was going down into the sewers. He tensed the blankets of the bed to make it look orderly again.

When he came out of his room again, Diana was already heading towards the staircase. He followed her from a certain distance. When she tripped and fell down the stairs his eyes opened up like plates and he laughed a lot for his insides. He ran down the stairs, predicting the position of the steps based on their size.

"Hey... you should be more careful-" -there was a subtle but ringing stain of sarcasm in his voice. He attempted to help her up. -"Come on, lets go."

He then went towards Dante, waiting for his indications. He didn't know where the entrance to the sewers was located or which path they would need to follow. He didn't know if the light was enough, but he gave Dante an inquisitive look.

Ikari would be lying on her back as her eyes slowly fluttered open. Her eyelid still covered her right eye even though the cyborg implant did not require her to blink that eye. No flesh, no moisture needed. Getting up into a sitting position, Ikari would look around the cell at this late moment in the day. There was next to no light. No sound. Well, apart from the loud sound of a stupid guard snoring that is. The stray seemed to be strewn all across the cell, as if just thrown in haphazardly. Standing up, Ikari would collect all of the pieces of straw and place them into a pile in the corner. She had already lost a large portion of her straw bedding. She wasn't going to lose more. After doing this, she would sigh and look at the bars of her cell.

Her dinner had arrived. It seemed that she had spelt through the guard rattling the bars to signify food. Either that or the guard had a sudden stroke of being nice run through him and let her sleep. Slamming her back into the bars, Ikari would slide down and sit next to her food and water. Slowly, she would begin to eat the bread she was given, tearing it apart piece by piece. Looking on the ground around her, Ikari would find a small stone. Picking it up, Ikari would begin to throw it up and down in her right hand as she ate the bread with her left hand, leaving it whole now as she ate.

Dante continued to play his music, but stopped when he heard the tumbling of one of the people upstairs. He yawned and walked over to the woman. Gale walked downstairs and made a humerus remark about her being 'more careful' in the near future. When Dante heard her 'Owwww' earlier he couldn't help but smile. She was definitely a character. Dante left the two upstairs and walked through a door beside the wall where the instruments were located. Behind that door was stairs that lead down to an even darker area. Dante flicked the switch and the lights turned on. Dante walked towards an old man that was laying on the floor, he was still drinking out of a bucket of water that Dante had given him. The old man was weak still, and his legs were tied down to the ground. Spyro an Dye were next to him, they sat on chairs about 12 feet from the king.

"What are you two doing here?" Dante asked, he was suspicious of their intentions, and for good reason. Spyro spoke, "Since we can't turn his head in for 100 million belli we have to keep him alive instead. I'm sure he can give us SOME kind of reward after you give him his kingdom back, right?" Dante nodded with a smile and walked past the ex-king and the two bounty hunters. He grabbed a red hawk that had an especially bright type of paint. The light that hit the paint was immediately reflected as a red glow. It almost looked like a red star. Dante turned around to walk back up the stairs, but the ex-king spoke loudly enough to reach Dante's ear. "How dare you imprison me! LET ME HANDLE THIS! I WILL NOT LOSE AGAINST MY SON!" The ex-king started to cry from both frustration and sadness, he looked up at Dante with fear in his eyes.. and hatred "I KNOW WHAT YOU'RE PLANNING TO DO, YOU'RE GOING TO KILL MY SON AREN'T YOU?!" Dante remained silent and continued to walk up the stairs. The ex-king continued to speak, "IF YOU TOUCH ONE HAIR ON HIS BODY I WILL PERSONALLY END YOU, YOU HEAR ME?! I WILL TELL THE MARINES EVERYTHING I KNOW ABOUT YOU!!" Dante continued to walk up the stairs and through the doors of the basement. "PLEASE, DON'T DO THIS!" Dante closed the door behind him and the noise stopped. A small tear rolled down Dante's left eye, but he immediately wiped it off before it was noticeable in the thick darkness of the room.

"We're heading out. I have all that we need, be prepared for war; revolutionaries will be inside fighting along side you.. they'll be the civilians with weapons; if they don't have the uniform they are on your side. There will be blood, chaos, and a harsh reality in life waiting inside that kingdom. I don't blame you for wanting to turn back now, but once we are inside the castle there will be no chance of retreat until the issue is dealt with." Dante meant the death of the king, which is what Dante explained earlier. The red hawk barely glowed in the darkness, but it did have enough of a glow to show its shape. In almost pure darkness like this one the paint put on the bird was still bright. "For those that want to save this island, and its people, follow me. For those that want to save themselves, stay here. I'm going ahead." Dante opened the hotel door and walked past the corpses he had killed the previous day. The zombies laid out in almost the same positions as they died, some of them struggled to make it to a source of water before dying. Dante walked through the now open gates and went outside.

After a two hour walk Dante stopped about a mile from the kingdom in front of a tunnel with bars seperating it from the outside world. The bars were made of thick iron, a substitute for the steel they are used to putting on weapons. Dante looked at the ones that decided to go in, "I'd like to know your names before going inside. The fact that you chose to make it this far means something important. Although I don't know what that means yet." After Dante heard their names he'll leave them in front of the tunnel, that tunnel is the sewer line that leads directly the the underground part of the city. The smell of shit lingered in the air, enough to make most people's eyes water and sting.

PostSubject: Re: West Blue: A Kingdom at War   West Blue: A Kingdom at War - Page 3 Icon_minitimeThu Apr 24, 2014 12:58 am

Diana was visibly embarrassed and scarlet in the face when Gale helped her to her feet.  Hopefully the darkness hid most of her embarrassment.  An abrupt apology slipped from her lips as she regained composure from the tumble down the stairs.  How she hated to be a bother.  As she carefully dusted off her pants and jacket, shouting could be heard from downstairs.  If she heard correctly, someone was shouting pleads and threats.  Was that...  the rightful king?  Even if Diana hadn't done anything particularly harmful yet, she couldn't help but feel guilt.  It was a feeling she couldn't simply shake off no matter how hard she tried, but it was something she had to do.  She had gotten this far.  It wouldn't make sense to back out now, not when there were the interests of an entire populous at stake.

"I-...  I don't think I can kill a man in good conscience.  But he must be stopped somehow."  There were plenty of second thoughts lingering in her mind, but she did her best to shove them to the side and avoid them.  As Dante left the building, Diana followed a short distance behind.  Her sights were focused dead ahead as they passed the ghastly remains of the fallen bounty hunters.  She didn't want to lay a single eye on them longer than she had to.  Not now.  If she had to guess, she had a sinking suspicion that she would see plenty of corpses before the day was through; enough to fill a lifetime.  Before too long their march ended at the entrance of a barred tunnel.  Diana realized it was their stop before they paused at the opening.  The smell was enough to give it away.  It was simply atrocious.  Involuntarily she brought a hand to her face and covered her mouth and nose, stifling a gag.

"Diana, if you may," she softly replied, giving a respectful nod of her head in Dante's direction.  "Be careful.  Please."  While it might have been difficult to see in the dark, she had a genuine expression of concern.  At least she had Gale to watch her back.  Even if she had a poor first impression of the man, Diana thought Dante had his heart in the right place.  Regardless of their success of lack thereof, she hoped she could hear him play again someday.  If anyone had a chance to come out alive, though, he seemed like a good candidate.  Much better than her own chances.

Ikari scratched her chin after placing her mug of water on the floor.  She began to contemplate on how she could escape from the prison when the time arose.  She had no idea where she was or what sort of building she was in.  She could be in an extremely large tower, in which case she could quite easily blow a hole in the wall she was facing.  However, with that, she could be several stories high and might not survive the jump down.  Thinking back, Ikari remembered her visit for the Sand Spirit.  If this was a tower, she doubted the man would have went that far up to find a single person that believes in a revolution.  So, the tower option seemed less likely.  However, there were other problems.

Ikari picked up her mug of water and finished off what was left inside the container in a few gulps.  Slamming the mug outside of the cell bars to be picked up later, Ikari continued to look at the wall opposite her cell bars.  Slipping her hand into her work jumpsuit, she took out her flask of coffee and took a small sip of it.  It was beginning to become empty.  The revolution better start in the next week or so, otherwise Ikari may become useless to the so-called Spirit.  She continued to juggle the stone in one hand as she contemplated on her escape plan, slipping her flask back into it's pocket. The other problem was if the cells were underground. If she blew a hole in the wall, then all that would meet her would be another wall of dirt. If that was the case, she could try to break the cell bars. Decisions, decisions.

West Blue: A Kingdom at War - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: West Blue: A Kingdom at War   West Blue: A Kingdom at War - Page 3 Icon_minitimeFri Apr 25, 2014 5:05 pm

Dante walked away after hearing their names. He now knew the names of the people that stood up against the world. Dante walked towards the large farmland and headed in the direction of the castle. The hawk on his left arm glowed with the light emitted from the moon. Dante covered his face with the turban and black scarf so nobody would guess his face, or how he looked like. He was about to commit the unthinkable, after all. Dante walked for about thirty minutes and stopped when he saw the wall in a distance. The archers won't be able to see him yet.. however, the faint glow coming from the hawk would be noticeable to a skilled eye. Dante let the hawk fly in the air by opening the cage and watched it soar through the sky. Dante then walked forward. The red hawk seemed to take its time making it to the city, but it was far ahead of Dante. This was definitely the famous 'calm before the storm'. Dante could almost feel the peace of the land, and felt the bad omen strip the air of that peace.

Suddenly a arrow shot from the walls and penetrated Dante. The arrow pierced his leg, but he continued walking towards the wall. Many arrows sprung towards, him, and three out of every ten arrows connected with his body. He eventually walked to a distance of about two thousand feet from the opponents and stopped. By this point thirty men with arrows stood at the top of the front gate with horrid expressions on their faces. Dante had a total of fifty-two arrows in his body, yet he continued to walk. In the front gate thirty soldiers ran to guard the front gate while the archers continued to shoot arrows at Dante.It was a completely one sided battle. The soldiers ran forward after the archers ran out of arrows and started to penetrate Dante's body. They circled him. They thought he was the ex-king, since only he would go this far to come back to the kingdom at midnight.. right after the bounty hunters and the scouts didn't return. However, suddenly a sandstorm brewed around Dante and scattered all around him. Everyone inside fell to the ground in extreme thirst and passed out.

Dante continued to walk past all of the zombies on the ground. The arrows that surrounded hi body fell to the ground naturally, exposing the sand that his body was made off. Dante created a sphere from his palm and hurled it at the enemy; a tornado made of sand suddenly erupted from the sphere and took out 15 of the 30 archers. Dante screamed at the top of his lungs, "YOU'RE GOING TO NEED AN ARMY TO SLOW ME DOWN! I WILL KILL YOUR KING IF IT'S THE LAST THING I DO!!" The surviving archers gulped and shot arrows at different bells around the city. The bells echoed through the kingdom, and suddenly every soldier possible ran through the slightly open gates. At least a hundred soldiers ran out of the gates, and all thirty knights of the kingdom stopped in front of them. All the archers moved to the top of the front gate and aimed their arrows at Dante. He talked about killing the king after destroying thirty of their men, this was no laughing matter. Guards started to leave the kingdom as well and stayed behind the large group of soldiers. All together there was over 300 men against Dante, and 230 of them were on the ground.

"There will be no mercy from me if you choose to fight for a mad man, run to your wives and kids now.. or you will never see them." The army stayed on guard. There was nothing that going to stop them from protecting the king. The knights drew their swords and shields and waited for the opponent to reach them. Dante was holding still this time.. he had to buy time and get their attention or the plan won't work.

Meanwhile the red hawk flew through the city. One of the men walking through the city noticed it and opened his eyes in surprise. "T-TODAY IS A GREAT DAY!!" He shouted and ran through the city, along with about four other men. "TODAY IS A GREAT DAY! IT'S A PERFECT DAY!! I LOVE THIS DAY!!" The men shouted this through the city, it woke up several people and before anyone knew it a crowd had gathered in front of a bar that is only a few thousand feet from the castle. Fifty men gathered around the area, they all looked tired but they brought weapons with them (some has iron swords, others had old steel swords, and few ha weapons equivalent to the soldiers). Most men had average stats in everything, about 9 of the 50 had soldier stats, and one had a knight's stat.. however, he was old, so his stats were less then a knights by 10 in strength and endurance.

West Blue: A Kingdom at War - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: West Blue: A Kingdom at War   West Blue: A Kingdom at War - Page 3 Icon_minitimeFri Apr 25, 2014 5:46 pm

Diana was alone.  After Dante had left her at the sewer entrance, she couldn't see where Gale had went.  This realization was quite nerve racking.  She certainly didn't want to go in the dark tunnel by herself, but time was of the essence.  It was then she spotted an abandoned kerosene lantern near the barred entrance.  Her surprise was apparent when she turned a knob and a faint glimmer appeared inside.  At least she had light now and wouldn't be going in entirely blind.  She was unsure how much fuel was inside, but it was certainly a start.  Diana took one more moment to gather her mental fortitude and a final breath of (relatively) fresh air before squeezing between the iron bars.

The very first step was an unpleasant one.  There was a considerable 'squish' sound as she placed her boot down.  She just about lost her lunch then and there.  Her unoccupied hand covered her mouth and nose, while the other one lifted the light source ahead.  Even with the lamp's meager light, she couldn't see much of anything.  What if there was some sort of cannibal society living down here?  Or soldiers lieing in wait to butcher her just behind the next turn?  This was an awful idea, absolutely dreadful.  One of her worst. It took all of her self control to not turn back around and sprint out.  She focused simply on sticking one foot in front of the other while her eyes darted back and forth nervously.  The slightest sound was bound to set her off.

The bars or the wall.  It was a tough decision.  She wasn't sure how high up she was or how low down she was.  One could possibly lead to disaster and the other to freedom.  Concentrating for a moment, Ikari continued to juggle the small stone in one hand, contemplating her predicament.  With her other hand, Ikari would rub her chin.  Her eyelid slowly fluttered down over her eyes, losing herself into her own thoughts.  For a moment, everything around her was silent.  That was until she was sharply brought back into reality through a large quantity of shouting.  Men, and a large number of them, shouting about how it was a good day.  Suddenly, Ikari's eyes would snap open, a fire behind her left eye that hadn't been seen for over a month.  A large grin would spread across her face as she picked herself up and moved towards the wall.  Well, let's hope this works.  Using the stone, Ikari would mark a large X on the wall.  She would drop the stone and move back towards the bars.  Taking off her right hand, Ikari would aim her wrist and the center of the X.  Smiling, Ikari would mutter to herself as she gets mentally prepared;
"Tick. Tick...Boom."

When uttering "Boom", Ikari had released a stable missile towards the wall.  The wall erupted outwards.  Brick fell towards the ground a story below Ikari's cell.  Ikari had been pushed back slightly by the pressure of the explosion.  Walking over to the now gaping hole in her cell, Ikari looked outside.  Completely ignoring the fact that her old straw bedding was now on fire, Ikari stood there looking up at the moon.  She smiled to herself.  How long had it been since she had last seen the moon?  Ikari stood there in serenity for a moment before she could hear footsteps echo in the hall.  Of course.  The guards would have heard the explosion and were now running to find the cause.  Looking down, Ikari shrugged to herself.  Her body was built to take a beating.  She jumped from the room she had been kept in for the last month.

Landing on the ground, Ikari didn't roll but instead took the brute force of the sudden stop.  This had barely any effect on Ikari's hardened body.  Using her right hand, Ikari grabbed at the dirt that she had unsettled by her jump.  It felt odd to feel something other than stone between her fingers for once.  She had got used to the tough, smooth feeling.  Dirt was the exact opposite.  Rough and brittle.  Standing up to her full height, Ikari ran from her prison of the past month towards the city.  Once nearing the village, Ikari would slow down to a normal walking speed.  Her goal was to get to the castle.  Walking her normal pace, Ikari walked towards the castle that could be seen in the skyline, even in this darkness.  She wasn't exactly hard to spot as someone who had just escaped some sort of prison.  Her clothing was ragged and extremely dusty.  Not only this, but an odour clung around Ikari due to the last time she bathed being over a month ago.

Dante saw the giant army in front of him. He ran forward just as the army ran forward. It looked like a swarm of insects attacked one of their own from a distance. Dante was alone against an army of soldiers, guards, and knights. But.. unlike most men, he had a very big edge. None of these men could kill him. Dante created a giant tsunami of sand while he ran forward, the tsunami rose up fifty feet and crushed fifty of the men in one swoop. The sound of metal cracking could be heard just as the tsunami forced itself on the ground. 18 tons of sand had just crushed these people, there was no coming back. Dante ran through the now sandy area and started to fight the men hand to hand; he was stabbed, sliced, and punched but nothing would stop him. Sand immediately made him intangible, nothing was working and their numbers were growing thin. Dante grabbed six more men by the throat, arms, or body and turned them into sand or zombies. He had to grab their attention.

Meanwhile the fifty men started to walk towards the castle. A shadow figure saw them the second they made a turn towards the kingdom, this figure had a large object behind him that resembled a bow. But in the darkness of the night it was hard to see him. On the ground, in front of the castle, 100 men stood and one giant man in front of them with thick black armor and a giant axe. They waited. The man with the giant bow picked it up and aimed at the people. He was going to wait to make sure they were part of a revolt against the king.. it was strange that the castle is being attacked while the people gather in a crowd and head towards the castle. If it were a complaint it'd be the first in twenty years. The guards stood behind the knight. They all had high quality iron weapons and leather as padding. The knight spoke to them. "If this is a revolution.. THEN LET THEM TASTE OUR WRATH!!" The guards roared in excitement, their stats were slightly higher then the rebels, and two of them, sometimes three, could kill each of the ex-solders in the rebel side. Seven of these guards could even kill the retired knight working with the rebels

Meanwhile, the area began to change. Wind started to pick up and the sound of thunder echoed in the distance. A bad omen fogged the war.

Things must have been heating up out there.  As Diana hesitantly marched ahead, she began to hear faint rumbling and shouting from above.  Maybe it wasn't so bad in the sewers after all.  At least nobody seemed to be actively trying to kill her, and the stench wasn't making her feel quite as nauseous as it had been by this point.  The panic she was experiencing was still very much apparent, however, and the clashing above simply amplified her urgency.  Hopefully the exit wasn't much further ahead.  Much longer down here and she might lose her sanity and sense of smell permanently.

Of course something else had to happen before then.  One of the rumbles was significantly larger than the rest, and sounded suspiciously like an explosion.  It was a reasonable distance away but the tremor it caused could be felt.  The sudden jolt caught Diana off guard.  She struggled to keep balance and put a hand on the grimy wall to steady herself.  A few chunks of the stone ceiling were dislodged and fell to the floor nearby.  While she was physically unharmed, the debris was much too close for comfort.  It shouldn't have surprised her that the architecture of such a path wasn't particularly sound.  Didn't exactly seem like the fastest was to get from point A to B, either.  Sadly there was still no end for her in sight so she quickened her pace.

Gale's mind followed Dante as he disappeared and re-appeared in the room with a red bird perched on his arm. The manner in which the feathers of that creature glowed was almost unnatural... The dim lights from their surroundings were reflected back beautifully from its painted coat. At the same time, he could hear groans and moans from somewhere in the bar that he couldnt distinguish... Those laments were just another premonition for him... Foreshadowing the dark and twisted events that would uncoil from revolution's firebreathing. Gale nodded in comformity to what Dante was saying. He felt excitement burn up through his thinnest capillaries. A net of uncertainty, of passions, of unity. He felt captivated by the fact that citizens themselves were fighting for a better country, for change. Deep inside he knew that revolutions always left a county in chaos, and that it would probably be a while before people could live in tranquility again, but it was necessary.

They stepped out, into the shadows of the night. Moonbeams landed around them, coating the darkness with a beautiful silver mantle. Even better, they bounced off the hawk and made it look as if it was a beauty on fire, a jewel of nature. Reflecting light like that had to be product of some kind of paint, Gale thought. They walked for about two hours, in which the power of silence reigned over them with more strenght and rigor than any of the Kings of this country had over them. The land discovered by the glow of the hawk unveiled the almost pathogenic darkness that engulfed them. The shadows were thick, and that liquorice umbra was almost ironic. It seemed like the corruptions that ran through the arteries of these cities was just as obscure as the night they were swimming through.

The rotten smell of depositions, clotted ducts, stagnant water and thick humidity stung Gale's sense of smell. This had to be the entrance to the sewers. For a second he thought it would be better to ask if there was any other way of getting to the city unnnoticed, because the proposed method was completely revolting. But, if that was revolution required, he figured that he might as well be silent and cope with it.

"Gale. Gale Senter at your service." - It was just a courtesy to say this, but he really meant it. He was at the service of the revolution, and to emphasize it he continued.- "The fact that you are Jack brother tranquilizes me. I am guessing revolution is something you already had in mind before coming to this island and finding this problem. If... by any chance, we survive this, I want you to know that you have my support."

Gale said this, not expecting to get any answers back, and rather as a way of showing loyalty to the mission and to Dante himself. He was a weird guy, but his ways attracted Gale. The chef considered his life up to now to be mainly monotonous if you excluded the adventures he had with Jack and his other travelling companions. It was time that he started to have his own adventures, to create a story that compensated his tranquil background. A bad reaction to reality.

***

For a couple of minutes, everything unrolled in front of his eyes. Dante left towards the city and left him out of the reach of any light. On the corner of his eye he thought he caught movement of shadows, and this diverted him from his original path. He followed the movement of the trees and bushes that surrounded them and this made him end up all the way around the entrance of the sewers. It could be a spy... Someone sent by the King to terminate their mission before it even started. Oh how wrong you were, little Gale, you wasted your time, you wasted your efforts. To find that it was just a deer stalking the team, attracted by the light and the smell of people, something he wasn't used to, apparently.

Gale, under the torpor of dellusion and disappointment, managed to find his way back to the sewer's entrance. He didnt see Diana anymore... He figured she might have gone on. Just in those moments the city seemed to explode into shouts of excitement, contrasting with other yells of battle and pain. He walked into the sewers, regretting the moment he didnt put more focus into his actions because the surface was slippery and he almost fell into the putrid remains of clotted liquid. Thank God he managed to get back on his feet and walked on.

***

The ruckus that echoed softly through the canals indicated him that the revolution had started. Dante had probably gone all by himself against the multiple archers located on top of the atalayas and walls of the city. Gale remembered it as a far way thought... Who could say that it hadn't even been a day since they were coming into the city. Even more! Since they had fought all of those soldiers and knights. While he walked through the darkness, he had time to revolve these thoughts around, to stir them and try to find a place for them in his new life. Because that is what he thought of this, a new life.

His thoughts helped him stay away from the imposing presence of the foul stench. Suddenly, he saw a light in the dark, far away. This beam of light was accompained by the damped tap of boots againts the floor of the sewers. Finally! He had found Diana again. Strangely enough, some debris seemed to fall from the walls. He hoped she didnt have any trouble there. He hasted his walk towards her, and for a second it looked like he was getting closer faster and faster, but then it seemed like she was getting away from him.

"Heeey!" - Gale whispered, trying not to cause too much noise inside the tunnels.- "Diana! Wait for me..."

Ikari wandered through the streets towards the castle. It's fairly imposing skyline was impressive to behold. Ikari couldn't help but feel sorry for the architect for the building. Due to her unique abilities, particularly explosions, it seemed that the castle may crumble in places this day. However, sacrifices must be made for the progress of justice. Even if it means the destruction of a good build. Ikari sighed softly as she walked through the streets. Good builds were hard to come buy in any shape or form, be it castles, ships or even cyborgs...Though Ikari herself was the only cyborg that she knew existed. Perhaps others existed, but now was not the time to contemplate that. Ikari saw a large group of men walking towards the castle. Rubbing her chin with her right hand, Ikari would begin to realise that these men were likely the revolutionaries that the Spirit had talked about. Nodding, Ikari followed them, joining at the back of their group.

The group that Ikari had joined slowly came to a halt as roughly one hundred men came into view. It was extremely clear that they out numbered the revolutionary crew massively. Looking about, Ikari tried to find the man known as "The Sand Spirit" in the group. However, there seemed to be no luck in the matter. Wherever he was, he wasn't here. Stepping to the front of the group, Ikari decided to take charge and be the first to exchange pleasantries. No-one seemed to impose. Standing in the front of the group, Ikari took of her right hand and slowly raised her arm to point at the group. Not a single person in particular, just roughly in the centre of the large group. Doing this, Ikari would shout. Her rough voice carrying fairly far even with the oncoming storm approaching;
"Today, the King shall be dethroned! His plans shall be foiled and no war shall come to pass!"
Upon completion of this sentence, Ikari would let a missile loose from her wrist. This wasn't one of her normal missiles though. This was one of her deadlier ones. This was the Unstable Missiles, heading straight for 100 men under the King's control.

The one hundred men stood in front of Ikari and the revolutionaries behind her. The one hundred men glared at Ikari, almost daring her to charge in. The black knight held his giant axe in one arm, showing his superior strength to most men, if not every man, in the west blue. The archer stood at the top of the castle as a shadow that blended with the roof. His giant bow stood taller then him by at least half his size more, he was 6 feet tall. The black knight stood at about 8 feet tall, with an axe equal to his height. The army behind him stood ready to battle; their swords were already drawn. When Ikari declared that the king would fall they all put up their guard. The archer already readied himself at Ikari; his bow pointed right at her heart. Suddenly she sent an object at the 100 people in front of her, but after she summoned it not even 1/4 of a second later the missile exploded before reaching the group; a few of the soldiers stepped back from the shockwave but the black knight remained unfazed. Because of the night sky and the sheer power of the bow the arrow, made of steel, penetrated the missile before it even got near the guards. The speed of the arrow, combined with the night sky, made the arrows invisible. To everyone around, except for the knight whom knew only because he recognized why it happened, would think the missile just exploded out of nowhere.

The knight spoke, "If you want to kill the king, you'll have to go through me first.. and the kingdom's brace castle guards." Just like that he poked the end of his axe to the ground, causing a loud clunk, which signaled for an assault. The guards all ran towards Ikari. The ex-guards behind Ikari ran forward as well. They were not about to lose without a fight, their vigor will not fall! Meanwhile, the sewers didn't seem to end for Diana and Gale. Currently they were just inside the city walls, a little more of a walk and they'll get to the area they needed to be. However, the deeper they went the heavier the depth of feces and urine and other unmentionables found only in sewers.

Enemy: 100/100 Guards, 2/2 General
Revolution: 50/50, Ikari alive

Dante, outside the city walls, fought against the men. The winds around the city started to pick up, and suddenly a small drop fell on Dante's shoulder. He looked at it with his eyes widening. He had to end this quickly. The people all ran at Dante and started to penetrate his body with spears, swords, and the likes. Suddenly a giant storm left his body and made it around him 50 meters; everyone inside was both blown back and turned to a zombie before they hit the ground. Some of the knights got lucky because of their armor and stood back up. Not enough sand made it through to kill them. Dante cracked his knuckles. This will not be an easy battle, like he expected originally, and it was too late to come back. The red hawk that Dante released made it through the city, but it lingered around it for some reason. Dante chose to ignore it and focus on his battle. Archers continued to fling arrows at him; this time he was trying to avoid them. He tried to run through the desert and make it to the wall. If it rained this would become a very hard mission.

Started: 100 Guards, 100 Soldiers, 30 Knights

Now: 60, 80, 28 Knights

West Blue: A Kingdom at War - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: West Blue: A Kingdom at War   West Blue: A Kingdom at War - Page 3 Icon_minitimeSun Apr 27, 2014 4:54 pm

As Diana walked, she listened to the echoes that bounced off the stone walls. Every drip, every step she made sounded amplified. There was eventually a moment where something didn't sound quite right. She paused. Even when she wasn't walking, there were sounds of footsteps behind her. The color drained from her face as the realization set in. Those weren't echos of her own foot falls - someone else was in here with her. Diana was about to bolt when a familiar voice quietly called for her by name. Even in the dim light she could see it was Gale, not some sewer dwelling hooligan.

"It's you..." She gave a sigh of relief as her hand clutched at her racing heart. As she was about to ask Gale how he was holding up, there was yet another rumble and tremor that shook the ground they were standing on. It caused her to stumble but Diana was able to keep her balance, if only just. There was a look of concern in her eyes. Things were getting more serious outside, and it was probably just getting started. They needed to move with haste before more people got hurt.

"We should hurry," Diana stated, her expression stern. As she quickened her pace the sewage grew deeper and even less pleasant, if that was even possible. It was a good thing she was wearing fairly sturdy boots, as the sludge was over her ankles at this point and quickly threatening to travel up her calves. She didn't dare open her mouth to speak to Gale, in case her stomach gave way to the overwhelming feeling of nausea. Her complexion had turned the slightest shade of sickly green as they got further in but she ignored her discomfort. The exit had to be close. While it seemed like an eternity, she finally spotted something. A ladder, to the surface! There were few things that could have pleased her more that very moment.

Diana clamored up the rungs and grabbed onto a latch. She lifted the manhole cover off to see the night sky above. While it was clear earlier, the wind had picked up and clouds had started to roll in. The sharp cold air hitting her face was fresh. That was all the cared about for the time being. After she had climbed out entirely, Diana reached out an arm to assist Gale out of the hole. Once the initial euphoria of leaving the sewer behind subsided, yet another feeling of dread washed over her. Fighting had already started, and between so many people. She would have been content to just shrink into the corner right then and there but that wasn't an option. Looking through the chaos, a few figures had stood out in particular.

There was the dark armored knight they had run into earlier. He was some distance away still, luckily, but he looked plenty threatening just standing around. The other she noticed was a rather scruffy looking female standing near the front of the civilians. They must have been the rebels that Dante had mentioned, and they were vastly outnumbered. Already the guards had begun to charge. Seeing this Diana reached out her hand and sent out a blast of ice that struck the ground in front of their adversaries. The ice extended from the center until it was fifty feet in diameter to form an incredibly slick rink. Chances were whoever lacked enough balance that ran over it would land flat on their faces.

West Blue: A Kingdom at War - Page 3 Empty
PostSubject: Re: West Blue: A Kingdom at War   West Blue: A Kingdom at War - Page 3 Icon_minitimeSun Apr 27, 2014 6:12 pm

Gale smirked when Diana recognized him almost instantly. These sewers were truly disgusting, the sludge lurking around their feet, covering them and threatening to move inside them. His smile disappeared the second a tremor shook the entirety of the sewage tunnels. To be honest, the ruckus coming from above didn't make him feel any more comfortable while he was surrounded by an imposing flora of microorganisms and feces; but it also made him feel uncomfortable of what was going on upstairs. How many lives were already lost forever? How many souls would lurk around the corners of the dark city.

Diana's suggestion to hurry was responded with a quick nod and he followed her as she quickened her pace. The anxiety to find an exit to start helping with the revolution found a companion to emphasize it, enlarge it and make them even desperate: the growing quantity of feces, urine and other nauseous substances only found in sewers. Hell, even objects floated around, the view was apalling. Gale just wanted to start yelling at people to stop throwing stuff into the sewers, because he was very close to losing the grip of his stomach. Of course it was a sight that he wouldn't want to give Diana... And now that he thought of it, a part of that sludge might even composed of-

Okay, he wasn't going to drift into those thoughts, it would only make it worse. What worried him the worst were the cuts that he had on his back. He didn't want the viscous liquid to reach his wounds, as it would infect them without doubt. His hopes were disappearing, his anxiety increasing and his stomach was going to lose it any second. How disgusting of a plan this had been... If they had met Dante before arriving to the King, he would have rather stayed in the city hidden from the start instead of having to come in through the sewers. He was about to summon multiple hands of clay to push away the sludge when it happened:

AN EXIT! "We are saved!" - Gale exclaimed as silently as he could. It was a true light at the end of the tunnel for his poor mind and digestive system. It was also a relief to his preccupation of his wounds. He jumped and grabbed the sides of the stairs as soon as Diana gave him some available space. The metallic bars screeched below their weight and seemed like they could collapse any second due to rusting. But whatever, they were coming out of that pit. Diana extended a hand to help him up and he smiled softly. -"Thank you."

The manhole was out of the way and now they were standing in the cold wind of the city. The sight the two of them would have given anyone who cared to look at them, which wasn't very probable taking into account the delirium state in which most of them would probably be due to the war that had just exploded, would be completely deplorable. The change of air from the fetid fecal vapours to the light surface air was refreshening. The situation up there wasn't any much better though. The battle had started, and there was a figure that stood in front of the angry mob.

"Wait- "- Gale seemed to recognize that figure. But he couldnt really tell from the distance. In that moment, Diana extended an ice rink below the feet of the guards and the black knight they had seen in the castle before. He decided that it would be useful to combine his quicksand pits with the dread that would rise when they realized they couldn't really stand and fight properly on the slippery ice. At his current skill, he opened three big clay quicksand pits around the mass of guards and outside of the ice, in case any of them wanted to escape.

Gale got closer to the action, he ran towards the woman in the middle and that was the moment when it hit him. -"Ikari?!?!? Is that you???" - Gale was truly surprised by the apperance of one of his old travelling companions. The last time he had seen her was in that jungle full of wild beasts. This was not time to be asking how she had gotten out of there and what she had done in the mean time, but it was something that was itching in the back of his mind. He took a fighting stance and prepared to fight besides her, preparing his devil fruit powers in case he was hit and he needed to become intangible.

Ikari placed her hand back onto her wrist as the missile left her.  However, as she did so, something managed to set off the missile.  The missile had been equally between the two groups when it had been set off, setting off a large explosion.  Ikari stood her ground as the blast wave made it's way back towards her.  Her hair flew up and her baggy uniform pulled itself on Ikari's skin.  Her expression was unchanged, unmoving as she continued to stare at the Knight who was speaking to her.  There was something that had made her missile explode.  If there was anyone with a bullet or a skilled archer within the area, that would make the unstable missile go off prematurely.  Ikari scolded herself in her head.  Of course they were going to have somebody with ranged capabilities here.  It was idiotic to have used the Unstable Missile first.  If she had used the Stable Missile first, it wouldn't have exploded unless something hit the type of it at a high speed and she could have salvaged it.  As she continued to contemplate her next course of action, the enemy guards ran towards the group and the ex-guards behind Ikari started to run forwards as well.

Ikari stood there as everyone ran past her towards the enemy.  She continued to stare at the Knight who had talked to her before.  He had to be eliminated extremely quickly or he could be a problem for the plan.  It was clear by the fact that he could order the guards about that the man was at least fairly powerful.  However, there came the problem of where that something that took out her missile came from.  Ikari would go look for the person or people herself, but she felt that the looming threat of the Knight was more pressing.  Contemplating for a moment, a large ice risk began to form under the feet of the enemy.  As this happened, three large quicksand-like pits began to form.  Ikari smirked for a moment, her unmoving face finally moving after her missile had been taken out of commission.  She heard her name from behind her and turned her head around to look at Gale, smirking;
"Hey, Clayboy.  Long time since I've seen you.

Ikari would turn her head away from Gale as he moved up to stand next to her.  At least there was somebody here that she knew.  Not only that, but there was also somebody here that seemed to have some sort of ice abilities.  Ikari thought quickly and turned her head to face Gale;
"I'm going to need either you, or Miss Icey here, to look around the area.  I think there is a person, or people, with some sort of ranged capability.  This could either be a gun, a bow, a slingshot or some odd Devil Fruit ability.  I need to stay here to focus on the Knight.  I doubt the ranged people pose a great threat, but it's best they're taken care of before they can deal much damage.  Neither of you need to go, just something I felt I should point out."
Ikari would go back to facing the Knight, waiting for him to make some sort of move.

The one hundred guards suddenly saw the floor freeze over causing 25 of them to fall to the ground. The black knight stood straight while all of this happened and walked towards the ice. He picked up his axe and threw it on the ground, cracking it in half and shredding most of the ice that clustered over the ground. His axe looked indented, despite the ice being very strong and thick. He placed the axe on his left hand; the ground under him seemed to give into itself under the man's combined weight with his axe. It weighed a ton. The thick steel armor covered every inch of his body even his helmet only had one gap for him to see his opponents. Spikes stood out from his shouder area, covered in armor, that looked sharp on their own. These same spikes covered most of the joint areas in his body; this only excludes sutures and obvious joints like the TMJ and phalanges (don't think he has spikes on his mouth and hip). The spine also had spikes.

Out of the 25 that fell to the ground 24 stood back up to find the rebels on top of them. The black knight swung his axe and cleaved straight through three of the rebels in half. His swing caused a breeze that moved through the rebels like the warnings before rain. This only stopped the rebels for a moment though, since they continued to fight forward. 5 of the guards got stuck in the clay, while 5 others tried to help them out. The clay was very big, about 4 meters wide, which meant the men outside had to be careful. The rest of the army of guards fought against the rebels. Blood started to pool on the ground, both of guards and rebels, but it was clear which side was winning. Suddenly an arrow shot straight through two people and burst into a building, causing a hole to form. The arrow curved so it looked like someone had shot the person, judging by the trajectory, from right in front of the rebels. The archer remained hidden and still; he was perfectly camouflaged by the castle. Non of the people had the perception to even see him from this high up. The red bird seemed to be circling the outer edges of the city. Its purpose is insignificant now that the war had begun, but the sign of the rebellion decided to stay in the city.

This fight was definitely not going to be like the other fight against the soldiers and the knights. Compared to the number of opponents in front of them and obvious skill and strenght of the Black Knight, this would be hell. Gale started to come up with a plan... But he couldnt quite make it fit. He set it aside in his mind for a second to appreciate the effect of his quicksand pit... apparently some of the guards had fallen in, but others were helping them out. "Mmm" - Gale's mind was working at the highest revolutions.

"I think we will have to worry about whoever has a ranged capability after we deal with this guy." - Gale said, after his eyes widened and his jaw drapped due to the way in which the Black Knight had cracked the ice rink produced by Diana. This definitely wasn't a normal opponent. As he swung his axe and the rebels, including Gale, were pushed away for a second, Gale dedicated his mind to think of a plan to get rid of him.- "Ikari... we need to get rid of this guy somehow..."

The battle was flourishing and blood had been shed by both sides. The air was filled with the smell of iron, rust, blood, sweat. The smell of war itself. And there was desperation in Gale's eyes. Okay... THINK GALE, THINK.-he thought to himself. What if they managed to get the Black Knight into one of his quicksand pits? His armor and his weapon looked incredibly heavy and he didnt seem to be very fast on his feet, even a little bit clumsy and slow in movement. It wouldn't be that difficult to make him fall into one, now that he thought of it, his Devil Fruit mastery allowed him to conceal his clay underground and open the pit right below the Dark Knight. He just needed to lure him.

"Ikari, I think I have a plan." - Gale got really close to her and spoke hastily, whispering so that only her could hear. -"I will open up a clay quicksand pit below him, it will be quite big and he will be right in the middle. But I need you to taunt him."

As he said this, he practically ignored his surroundings that didn't include the movement of the Black Knight. Guards and soldiers seemed to be hitting the rebels, and viceversa. He prepared his attack to be truly effective. He barely touched the ground and then he stood up pretending as if he was going to run towards the mob. He waited for Ikari to make her move, and then he did it. His clay had moved underground towards the area where the he would stand and he opened the Nendo Nendo no Quicksand right below the Black Knight. Being nighttime and the low perception the Knight had, it would be very difficult for him to a notice the pit opening up below him. He just had to be aware of anyone that would try to help him out. The more he fought to get out, the more he would sink.

Gale knew this woman, too? Even in the midst of a battle, her eyebrows rose in surprise. He was certainly well traveled. At least if he could trust this Ikari individual, then that meant she could as well. They could use all the help they could get. She took a mental note of Ikari's observation of a ranged opponent. There was that other general they saw the previous day when they met with the king, he was an archer. Try as she might Diana couldn't spot anyone who looked remotely like the threatening archer in the enemies ranks. It was likely he could be elsewhere. Diana remained aware of their surroundings regardless. Getting separated in this bloodbath would likely mean death if they weren't careful.

Things definitely didn't look like they were going their way. The knight had little trouble with the ice she had created, to her displeasure. He had even less difficulty cutting away any revolutionaries that had strayed too close. She had to do more to help the civilians out. They were out numbered, and it was only a matter of time that they would be wiped out at this rate. While Gale quietly spoke to Ikari, Diana took matters into her own hands and leaped into action. A particularly large group of guards that hadn't met the revolutionaries group seemed like a prime choice. The last thing she wanted to do was hurt the civilians she was attempting to help out.

Her eyes closed for a split second of concentration then shot open as a block of dense, glacial ice was formed above their adversaries. The construct was ten feet thick and twenty feet or so in length and width, enough to cause some serious problems for whatever poor souls wouldn't be able to get out of the way before it fell. She then raised her arms in front of her as a spike of ice extended from each of her palms aiming to skewer as many guards from the group in front of her as possible, before they could reach the revolutionaries.

Ikari stood there as she watched the guards stumble upon the ice.  Smiling to herself, Ikari thought that both the powers of Ice and Clay could help in turning the tide of this battle.  If it wasn't for the Knight here, and the ranged person/people, Ikari and the revolutionaries probably could have completely ran over the one hundred guards with little trouble.  However, they needed to get rid of the Knight.  As she was thinking this, the Knight walked on the ice rink with little problem and slammed down his axe onto the ice.  The ice cracked and most of it dispersed under the attack.  This man really was a great threat if he could do that.  It was doubtful that Ikari could achieve such a feat, even with the aid of her cyborg implementations.  Rubbing her chin for a second, Ikari tried to figure out some way to get rid of the man without killing herself or any of her allies.  It was at that time that Gale piped up.

Ikari nodded as Gale talked to her, telling her about his plan.  As he finished, Ikari would make a sharp nod and begin to walk towards the Knight.  She would watch as Diana summoned a giant slab of ice above a group of guards.  Ikari raised an eyebrow inquisitively, making a mental note to never annoy her beyond her limit.  Or get a flame thrower.  A flame thrower would be a good choice.  Stopping a fair bit away from the Knight, roughly a 6 meters away, Ikari would pull off her right hand, aiming it towards the guard.  Smiling, Ikari would shout at the man;
"Oi! Axe-for-brains! Let's see if you can make this one blow up prematurely!"
Ikari would continue to point her wrist at the man, however she wouldn't set any missile on him, waiting for Gale's power to work.
