Wrath Synn

Wrath is the second of seven children born to a mysterious nobleman who lived in a dark castle on a dark island. The names of the children, in order of birth, are Pride, Wrath, Sloth, Lust, Envy, Gluttony, and Greed. Their father was a dark figure whom no one on the island knew well. It was rumored that the children were born of women he brought from far-away lands to his castle. No one knows if the story is true but no woman has ever walked through the castle's front gate. The villagers who live in the town below the castle always thought that the mysterious man was the devil himself. Others have though that he was a vampire; they are not far from the truth but that is a mystery for another time.

The children grew up without an intimate relationship with their father. In fact, they rarely saw him except for during dinner time. The only adult contact they had for the most part was the family's faithful butler. He was an old man yet he never ran out of energy to take care of the children. The children seemed to be born of curses as each was a manifestation of their names. Only Wrath did not show the sinfulness characteristic of his siblings. In fact, Wrath grew up to be a gentle and kind boy. He spent most of his days (if you could call the constantly gloomy weather days) helping the butler with errands and clean the castle. Wrath became very proficient at cleaning.

Every night before they went to bed, the children were given a pill to swallow as ordered by their father. Little did they know that these pills were a certain drug made directly from extracts from IQ plants. The children each began to gain a demonic body part as a result of their specific natures. Wrath developed a demonic right arm. While Wrath helped around in the castle, his siblings often went and caused havoc in the village. As such, the villagers grew a strong dislike toward the children. This hatred was strengthened by their fear of the strange appendages the children possessed. Wrath, being the second oldest of his siblings, was also the second strongest when it came to sibling rivalries. Wrath's potential is always rediscovered whenever he fights because the angrier he got, the stronger he became. He only ever lost to Pride whose power was something similar to Haoshoku Haki.

Often isolated by his siblings, Wrath took to sparring with the butler who specialized in using a hidden cane sword. Wrath was taught to use knives with his left hand because he couldn't hold them with his right. At a young age, Wrath became the only child who could fight using something other than their powers.

One day, the people of the village decided that they had enough of the tyranny of the castle-dwellers. A mob formed and they stormed the front gate. However, a dark figure with a long sword stood behind the gate. Wanting to proceed, the mob ignored the figure and rushed toward the castle. None of them ever made it to the front door. The death of so many villagers was blamed on the children who by now were old enough to individually cause harm to the village. The marines were called in to dispose of them. One marine battleship held on it a Celestial Dragon who had heard of the grand castle on the island and wanted it for himself. The marines rushed in and stormed the castle but the children were there to hold them off. Infuriated by the pestilence, the Celestial Dragon ordered the island to be completely destroyed. The scene was similar to a Buster Call except it was not made by means of a golden den-den mushi and no vice admirals were called in. Wrath, who was in the garden with the butler, was working when suddenly a barrage of cannon balls flew into the castle and destroyed most of it. Running inside, Wrath tried to find his siblings but could only find the bodies of the five youngest children. He found Pride on the roof, defending the castle my means of his power. However, it was evident that pride was caught in an earlier explosion as the right side of his body had been seriously blown apart. It was, however, the proud nature of Pride that kept him standing on the roof defending the castle. Wrath understood that Pride only had a few minutes left so he ran down toward the front gate.

At the front gate, Wrath saw his father and the butler standing side by side. They just stood there and didn't say a word. Wrath wanted to say something to his father but suddenly, a large explosion happened on the castle's roof. Wrath looked toward the castle at the very spot where he last saw Pride. When Wrath turned back to speak to his father, he discovered that the two of them had just vanished.

Now completely furious and in an enraged state, Wrath ran full speed toward the marine battleships. He saw the ship with the Celestial Dragon and climbed onto the deck. Seeking revenge on the noble, Wrath prepared to kill him with his demonic right arm but was suddenly hit by a cannonball. Strangely enough, the cannonball did not seem to have come from a cannon from any ship. The Celestial Dragon, suffering only a minor cut across his chest, ordered the immediate and painful death of Wrath. Unfortunately for him, Wrath was thrown into the water by the cannonball and was nowhere to be seen.

Wrath woke up on a different island a few days later. He found himself lying in an abandoned cottage on a beach island. He was surprised to find himself fully clothed in his noble gear as if he had never left the castle. Understanding what had happened, Wrath left the cottage and decided to begin a new life with one goal in mind; to kill any World Noble he could find. To do so he would need to join a crew that the power to compete with the world government. He set out for Sabaody Archipelago where powerful crews were all destined to meet...
