Serious Chapter 3 Hooded Knights: Lost in the Florian Triangle

"Ah. Connor, get the cannonballs. Duke, let's move out." Chris pulled his brass knuckles off his waist, quickly affixing them to his hands. "Right behind ya, bro." Duke said, not appearing to prepare. Connor muttered something unintelligible as he plunged into the ship. Chris and Duke decided to make up the vanguard, rushing in front of Darnel to take the lead. "Just in case they attack whoever's in front." The pair seemed fully ready to kick the ever loving crap out of some pirate ass. Connor came shortly afterwards, lugging a large bag of spherical objects.

The New world pirates saw a group of marines coming toward them. Whiteout looked over and turned pale to see that captain Darnel had arrived with the hooded knights "Shelia aim for those marines quickly before they reach us." Shelia fired her hand cannon at them hitting them straight on. Darnel quickly turned into his armor point saving them from the blast. The explosion only cause a small amount of damage upon Darnel's scale like skin.

"You guys pick a target and subdue them, but whiteout is mine." Darnel said rushing to beat the crap of the New world pirate captain.

Seeing Darnel Charge into Battle Ashley jumped off of the Crows Nest with Sharp fang. Hitting the deck she used Soru to sped to land .

Then placing sharpfang onto the ground she walked onto his back as Sharpfang sped towards the abttle with incredible speed while drilling anything his his path.

Ashley rode Sharpy like a surboard Aiming her rifel at the New world Pirates Shot off fivev round at the closet pirate she could see attempting to leave five holes in his head.

"Heheheheh Lets give these dummies a lesson in manners hehehehehe!"

Carlos took his time to choose his opponent. He looked for something specific: a sword. When Carlos took the Hook swords he promised to make them famous and he did that by defeating every swordsman that crossed his path. No, he stayed behind, looking for the swordsman of the New World, if there ever was one.

Vice shoot out four thin wires from around his fingers slicing the bullets in half before they hit him "Oh baby you are so fine. Why don't you come join us instead of this boring marine crew? Your beauty is being wasted upon these guys who don't appreciate you." Vice shot out one wire to tie Ashley up around the waist so he could slice her in half "We could make sure a fine couple."

Horse shot out a blade from his forehead turning him into a unicorn using his supa supa powers. He also turned both his legs into blades and had some on this thighs and tail. Horse ran with quick speed toward Carlos. The horse was like a mobile spear the would cut through carlos like butter.

Sharp fang Imimdeatly Crawled around Ashleys Wast. Useing
"Spiral Hollow Belt!" The high sped rotating blades sliced the wire into shreds sending the wire shreds away from Ashley.

Grabbing Sharp fang Ashley Aimed him at Vice. "Is that anyway to treat a lady. You bastard! Try on some of these steel arrows on for size I hear there all the rage. Ashley shot 20 steel Heavy Bolts at Vice attempting to liter his body with Steel Arrows.

Duke launched himself at Sheila, zigzagging in his approach. He closed the distance extremely quickly, but shot past her: only to use Drive at her from behind. If Drive connected, she'd be thrown forward, at where Chris was running. His brass knuckles were already on his fists, and he was fully ready to punch Sheila directly in the face. Connor wasn't far behind, and it wouldn't be long until he was in a position to bombard Sheila with cannonballs.

"Oh shi...!" Carlos said as he spotted the sharp horse running at him. He never fought an animal before, especially not an animal that ate a devil fruit, and since he won most of his fights thanks to his amazing ability to spot the weaknesses of his opponent, fighting a completely new opponent meant he needed to learn the horse before he could beat him. "Wing Art: Spring Jump!" He shouted and bent his legs. He then stretched them with great force, performing the highest jump he could pull. He figured that since the horse was that fast it'll have a problem with stopping. He tried and use that fact to jump over the horse to dodge it's attack and proceed from there.

Suddenly a bullet shot at Cutlar's face. Kenshin smirked sitting on the ship, smiling to himself about his aim with his sniper rifle.

Darnel ran up toward Whiteout. Captain whiteout formed a huge a cloud of smoke from his hands around Darnel. Then he simply harden the smoke preventing Darnel from moving. "What is this? I can't breath" Darnel said as the smoke slowly covered his body. Whiteout laughed "I have the power to control smoke itself. I can make it as light for people to pass through or as dense to hold them in place. Right now I'm using it to crush your lungs. Soon you won't be able to breathe." Darnel started choking as the smoke covered his entire body crushing him.

Vice ran to the right to avoid getting sliced by the arrows, but two caught him in his left leg and arm. He was lucky considering he could have lost his life in that attack. This chick was tough. Vice threw three wires from his right arm, and pulled a local bystander toward him acting like his shield. "You are a marine right? Well lets you try that again without killing this poor innocent man." Vice shoot out five of his thin wires toward Ashley four of them were aimed for her limbs while the fifth one was aimed for her throat. Vice didn't want to kill her, so he he could have "fun" with her later.

Shelia couldn't fire at Duke for he was too close of distance for her hand cannon. Then she suddenly thrown forward toward another marine named chris. Shelia was knocked out by his brass knuckles causing her nose to bleed.

Cutler moved toward Duke to hit him with a blast of his poison. Suddenly a bullet wissed past her head almost killing him. What was that? A bullet? Damn they must have a sniper. It was unfortunate that those guys knocked their only sniper on their crew, Shelia. Culter then ran away to hide hoping to spot the sniper before he shot again. Culter ran toward the alley toward the right in order to have a safe point to scope the area.

Horse ran past Carlos who jumped over the animal. Instead of stopping the horse ran around back toward Carlos with its horn like balde ready to impale him. The horse ran a good twenty feet before turning around giving Carlos enough time to come up with a plan.

The extra 20 feet that the horse ran were all Carlos needed to come up with his first plan. Since this horse's swords came from his devil fruit Carlos won't be able to disarm him. So he'll have to skip that stage and move directly to the next one: Robbing him of his balance. When the horse came running back, Carlos was ready. He stretched his hands to both sides and when the horse was close enough he began his move. "Wing Art: Under the Bridge!" He shouted as he ran towards the horse and dropped to the floor at the last second, shifting his momentum to switch from running to a drift tackle, aiming for between the horse's legs. He drifted under the horse, with his swords stretched and attempted to grab the horse's legs with his hooks. "Claw Art: Swipping the Floor!" he said.

A bird flew high in the sky above the combatants. It was doubtful that they would have spared it much more then a second's glance had they noticed it. After all, from this distance it looked like nothing more then a hawk. Then, as the bird was flying over the Hooded Justice it dipped and fell into a dive. As the creature drew nearer to the ship, its shape and true size became more apparent. It was huge. The entire bird was bigger then ten people put together. Its shape was, as mentioned before, similar to that of a hawk, but there was also something odd about it. Its coloring was fairly normal though. It had muddy brown feathers and golden eyes.

The giant bird landed majestically on the center of the Hooded Justice, coming in quickly, but then slowing down so that it would not knock down anyone close to it. For a few seconds after it had landed, nothing happened. Then suddenly and without warning, a man tumbled off of the bird's back and hit the deck with a dull thud. The man could have been described as handsome, but at the moment he looked unkempt. His blond hair was not combed, his ocean blue eyes blinked owlishly in the sunlight, his shirt was only half tucked in, his shoes were untied, and a little dribble of drool was running down the side of his mouth. His clothing was a basic Marine uniform, but it looked like it needed a good ironing.

"Oh, snap," Quintus muttered. "Are we there already? And I was trying to catch up on my sleep..." He started to yawn, but then a sniper rifle, which had been perched on the bird's back precariously, suddenly fell and struck him on the head and laid him out flat again. "Ow!" Quintus said, rubbing his head ruefully while sitting back up. Then he paused, and looked around. "Hang on...where is everybody?"

Kenshin, who was hiding on the deck of the ship, looked at these events unfold. Then, suddenly, a man came off of the bird. what the hell? thought Kenshin, who then looked at the man, rifle in hand "You, whoever you, get the hell out of the enemy's sight, you'll blow my cover." he said pointing to his rifle. "And that bird isn't helping either"

"Oh," Quintus glanced over at Kenshin, his expression indicating that this was the first time he had even noticed that the other was there. "Sorry about that sir," he said, now standing and giving Kenshin a sloppy salute. Then he turned to the bird and said, "George! Come here!"

The bird looked back at Quintus imperiously, as if he could not believe this tiny human would dare give him orders. Then, suddenly, he shrunk and his form became that of a small pebble, which Quintus reached out and caught and stuffed in his pocket.

"Good boy," he said, before turning back to Kenshin. "And...um...what's going on?"

The horse tripped falling forward over Carlos's swords. The fell rolling over rolling onto the ground. It unihorn blade was stuck into the ground making the beast unable to move with its head. The horse tried and tried but couldn't pulled the blade attached to his head from inside the ground.

Culter saw the hawk flying to where he assumed the the marine ship was at. That's is where the sniper is. Culter grew eight purple poison tencales from out his back each picking him up from the ground. He used them to manuever up the alley on top of the buildings. Using the tencales to stretch from rooftop to rooftop, Culter made his way toward the ship where kenshin and Quintus was. As soon as they were in eye distance. Culter shot out three of his tencales toward them "Eat this marines. How dare you try to shoot me?!"

Darnel changed into his cobra hybrid form growing bigger so his limbs could push back the smoke. Whiteout was shocked to find out that their captain was a devil fruit user. Darnel spit out some venom whick caught him all over his body. Whiteout screamed as the venom was slowly eating out his body. Death was sure to come.

(I think Thor is away right now. I'll duel Culter for a little while I guess...)

Quintus saw Culter approaching and his face changed. He looked very calm, almost emotionless. Inwardly, his mind was silent and focused. He didn't know for sure that Culter was an enemy, but the fact that someone who was not dressed as a Marine had tentacles and was approaching their position sort of gave that away. When the man attacked and yelled at them, Quintus knew it for sure.

Without even looking through the scope, Quintus whipped up his sniper rifle and fired a bullet straight at each of the approaching tentacles. He never left his gun unloaded. He had learned better then that from experience and his teacher.

Ashley used Geppo to jump high in the air while useing soru to move at great speeds. Avoiding the Wires as she shot arrows at one that got to close to knock it away. Then jumping off the air she did a spiing back flip while sending 50 mini drill arrows at Vice. Carfully aiming them trying not to hit the hostage"Hhehehehehe Taste my Cold hard steel you silly pirate boy hehehehehehehe! you better leave that person alone mean face=P"

Landing infront of her she loaded a heavy arrow on Sharp fang and pointed it at Vice. Her bhuntress eyes looking for a weakspot. Hopefully her 5 arrows drill mini cheese holes into his ugly body =) However she didnt notice the 1 wire wrapped around her left leg.

The bullets bursted the poison tentacles into pieces leaving vice with only five left. The fact that the marine didn't miss scared Cutler. this sniper was good. Vice shot out the other five tentacles toward vice hoping to poison him. He also spit out seven poison balls toward the marine at the same time "Lets you shoot these."

Vice let go of the hostage when the arrows hit him in the right shoulder three in all. The hostage ran off leaving Vice unprotected "Ok I surrender. Please don't kill me." Vice saw that one of his arrows caught her in her legs. He was going to pull the wire cutting her leg in half if someone didn't stop her. Darnel landing on the ground seeing that whiteout was as good dead. He used his snake eyes to see that a thin wire was around Ashley's leg. Darnel screamed "Carlos cut that wire quick before its too late!" He ran toward Vice to put him in submission.

Quintus stood still and took in all the incoming attacks. His mind began to quickly analyze the situation. He had five shots left before he needed to reload. That made everything problematic. However, there wasn't any more time to think. It was time for action.

"Lighter Then Air...."

Quintus bent his knees and then slid to the side to easily dodge the first tentacle. He picked off one of the poison balls and a second tentacle with a couple of perfect shots from his rifle. He ducked under a second poison ball and shot another tentacle. Two shots left...two tentacles...five poison orbs... Quintus fired again and this time managed to blow two of the balls to pieces with a single bullet. With only one bullet left, Quintus resorted to dodging the next ball and tentacle by spinning to the side and bending over backwards to let them go on by. Unfortunately for the sniper, his enemy's last tentacle slapped Quintus on his free arm. He ignored the tentacle for the moment though. There would be time to examine its effects later. Two poison balls were left and Quintus blasted them both to pieces with his last shot. However, he did not immediately try to reload his gun. Instead, he reached into his pocket and pulled back out the pebble that had once been a bird.

"Come on out George!" Quintus called loudly throwing the pebble into the air. The change was immediate with the pebble changing back into a bird.

Since the bird was so huge, when it flapped its wings the force of the wind was enough to knock a person off of their feet. In fact, since Quintus was directly underneath George, he was instantly flattened against the ground.

Seeing the horse was stuck, Carlos considered it a win for himself. He wasn't about to harm an animal, no way. He turned to see if he was needed in the other fights when Darnel called him. He spotted Vice that had a wire connected to an arrow that was stuck in Ashley's leg. "Look out dummy!" Carlos shouted as he started sprinting at the wire. His speed was great and he was relatively close to start with so he reached the wire in two seconds. When he reached the wire, Vice began pulling, sending a wave along the wire. With his swords out, Carlos managed to jump forward and cut the wire with the sharp backside of one of his swords right before the wire ripped Ashley's leg off. Afterwards, it was too late for him to land properly and he fell flat on his chest, causing his uniform to be filled with dust and dirt. "Got it..." He mumbled and raised a thumb of approval, his face buried in the ground.

Culter was blown down into the ground by the bird's attack. Vice was now completely defenseless without his hostage. With his last wire Vice threw it around Culter's body pulling him toward himself. Seeing that defeat was eniment, Culter and Vice both surrendered to the local police who took them into custody. The police also took in the surviving members of the New world pirates in custody. The hooded knights could now make their way back to the ship, and toward Marineford but first they had to sail past the florian triangle. That place was known for people getting lost in its purple like fog. Many ghost ships were found there still carrying skeletons of their once alive owners. That place certainly spelled doomed for those who dared enter its waters. Darnel made his way back to the ship, and found a new marine(Quintus) aboard his ship.

"Who are you? I don't allow stowaways on my ship!"

Ashley looked at little panic then ran towards Carlos picked him up with inhuman strength and huged him. "Oh thank you Carlos thank you so much Heheheh i owe you one big boy =)"


Sharpfang spang out of the ground And wrapped his coiled around VIce. Attmepting to use his drill body to slice hisa body into chunks of shreded meats. He squeezed tighter and tighter and he sissed sinaterly into Vices Ear. Extreamly pisse dhe almost ook off his maters leg.

marcelo stayed behind on the ship.''someone needs to guard the ship''he said to himself utterly bored.

“Er…uh,” Quintus looked around at Darnel, as if surprised by his sudden appearance. “Oh, my name is Quintus Verronus. And…um…oh yeah!” Quintus saluted and grinned at Darnel. “I recognize you from the picture I was shown! You’re Daniel! No…Damian? That doesn’t sound right either…” Quintus’s face screwed up in an expression of extreme concentration. “Daisy? That’s a girl’s name…Doggie?” Quintus paused for a couple of seconds and then burst out laughing. “Now that would be funny!”

(That tentacle was poisonous, right? I mean, that’s why I didn’t have it throw Quintus through the air or anything when it hit him. And I suddenly realized that I might be wrong so…)

Darnel saluted back to Quintus. This guy was a bit odd, but a great sniper. He took out a doku doku, one of the most powerful devil fruits users single handly, with only but a few bullets. Darnel was impressed "You must Quintus Verronus. Yes I heard about you too. I expect nothing less from a man of your reputation. I'm in need of a man of your talents. How about you join my crew? We heading to marineford if you want we can make it offical there."

Darnel went back on the ship recalling all his subordinates back. It was time for them to continue their journey toward the marineford, but first they would have to make it past the Florian Triangle....
