ZOANS

Zoans are special devil fruits that grant a user the ability to turn into a specific animal. The user of that devil fruit will then be able to turn into a hybrid form, or full form. Hybrids are half the race of the user, and half animal, while the full form is.. 'full'-y that animal. Now that we covered the basics, we can get to the good stuff. There are three types of zoans: normal zoans, ancient zoans, and the mythical zoans. Each of these forms earn different stat advantages, and it's the reason for their superior or inferior stat increases.

Normal zoans gain a flat 100% stat increase when they reach 100% devil fruit mastery. This means that normal zoans gain 10% to any stat of their choice for every 10% put inside the devil fruit. Of course, the user also gains special abilities related to that zoan. So a person with an elephant zoan can turn into a tall beast in full form, and a pretty tall human as well as add extraordinary weight. That same user, with 60% in devil fruit mastery, can give something like 30% increase to strength, and 30% increase to endurance in full form, and maybe 15% endurance, 20% strength, 10% Tactical knowledge, and 15% Knowledge. Easy, right?

Ancient zoans, because they are from a more.. powerful time, gain a 150% stat increase when reaching 100% devil fruit mastery. This means that every 10% to the devil fruit mastery stat will give the user 15% divided into whatever stat(s) that user wants. Of course this comes with special abilities that come with the devil fruit, such as a T-rex and his ability to crunch at extremely heavy weights when in full form or his ability to run above average speeds; that's excluding his very hard exterior. A full form T-rex at 60% devil fruit mastery can have 50% on strength, 30% endurance, and 10% speed (or something). The hybrid can have 25% strength, 30% endurance, 30% speed, and 5% agility.

Mythical zoans gain a flat 100% stat increase, but gain powers very similar to a paramecia type devil fruit. This means that on top of stat increases, they have the powers of an extra devil fruit (basically). Let's use a Zeus mythical zoan as an example. Zeus can gain a gold statue-like skin/armor, and have the ability to hurl huge lightning bolts with a very nasty side effect to getting hit by it. On top of these abilities, he'd probably gain about 50% strength and 50% endurance to his stats in full form with 100% devil fruit mastery. In the hybrid form he could gain about 25%strength, 25% endurance, 25% speed, and 25% tactical knowledge.

Note: A zoan can NEVER put the stat bonuses into devil fruit mastery.

RUMBLE BALLS

The rumble ball is the essential piece of any zoan user. Without a rumble ball, a zoan user has little they can do except perhaps enhance their current skills. These rumble balls tell how things work. A rumble ball gives you the ability to turn into extra forms for 5 post duration. Once it is gone, it's gone for that thread. Buying multiple rumble balls allows for multiple uses.

Upon the first purchase of a rumble ball, you gain two extra forms free to your full and hybrid forms, giving you a total of four forms. From this point on, forms and rumble balls must be purchased separately. The forms of a normal zoan are mastered by using them for three (3) levels, more than one form can be mastered with in the same levels. Mastery of a form allows a zoan to use extra forms without a rumble ball. Normal zoans have no limit to how many extra forms can be purchased; however, once you have acquired a total of seven forms, and have mastered at least 3 of them and have over 70% in the devil fruit stat, you can purchase a "monster" form.

A monster form is where you exemplify the animal part of you and choose a handful of its traits to be enhanced; for example, if I have a black mamba zoan, my monster form might be a giant snake that can move very quickly, has immeasurable strength, and has extremely potent paralysis venom. Monster forms make you unable to tell the difference between allies and enemies, so rp and activate with care. When you become a monster, you divide 200% between 2 or 3 of your stats (predetermined upon approval if form) and each one, at this point, has a cap at 50%. Once it has been mastered, you gain an extra 50% to distribute as desired between those predetermined stats during this form as well as gain full control.  In order to master this form you must have used it for ten (10) levels for regular, fifteen (15) levels, and twenty(20) levels and have 100% in devil fruit mastery.  After awakening, this is repeated with another 50%, coming to a total of 200% being distributed between 2 or 3 stats, none of them surpassing 100%.

A normal zoan, after mastering monster form (10 levels and 100% devil fruit mastery), can obtain awakening if you're at least level 20.  An awakened zoan loses his or her original form. Instead he has his hybrid, his full (monster), and his new form which takes place of the human form. This new form is the "awakened form". The awakened form increases the strength, speed, endurance, healing rate, and basically everything about the user.  Following my previous example. If I had a black mamba zoan awaken, his human form would be an olive-colored skin with a scaly texture, his teeth would become fang-like, his jaw would be able to unhook, he might gain a tail, he might even gain sharper nails. He would also, of course, gain snake eyes. He would be exceptionally stronger, faster, and etc. So basically the character gains 10% to every stat and gains a healing passive ability as a special ability, on top of the natural weapons like fangs, and sharp nails and the unique ability to dislocate his jaw and popping it back into place without pain. The abilities, healing and otherwise, will be based on the individual fruit they are made for and will affect both the maximum strength of these abilities and the price of the fruit. A rumble ball is required to change from form to form after awakening. It is also important to note that no other zoan forms other than Monster, Hybrid, and Awakened can be used by the user after becoming awakened.

Ancient zoan users require 7 levels instead of 5 to master an extra form. They also require 15 levels to master their monster form. As for all zoans, a rumble ball is required to change forms once a zoan is awakened. Ancient zoans start with 250% on monster form. The other limitations are the same, and they increase by 50% after mastering and 50% after awakening. In the end their monster form is a 350% increase to any 3 stats with a maximum of 120% increase to any of them.  To obtain awakening the user must master their monster form and be at least level 40.

A mythical zoan can only have a total of 7 extra forms. Each form requires 10 levels to master. Once all forms are mastered, a mythical zoan may obtain a monster form. Once this monster form has been mastered, after a huge additional 20 levels so you have to work your butt off to spam this powerful devil fruit , you can finally awaken if you're at least level 50.  In this awakened form, your human form becomes awakened. Unlike with the other two zoans, your monster forms do NOT have an increase of in their distributing stats upon awakening, or mastery.

Awakened zoans gain three special abilities, plus an increase in power for their hybrid form, and the ability to increase the devil fruit stat up to 150%. Two of the special abilities are determined and one will be custom. First off, you obtain "awakened healing". This healing allows for faster recoveries in thread and even regeneration between threads. Next, you obtain "awakened senses". Awakened senses makes you more aware of your surroundings and what is actually around you; this breaks minor illusions, such as hypnosis; it also allows for a "sixth sense" with animals that allows animals to understand you and vice versa. Your final ability is a custom ability. Keep in mind, this ability must be justified by your zoan and must be applicable to all forms. If I awakened a black mamba zoan, I would choose to gain poison immunity, for example, as that is a constant ability that makes sense for a black mamba to have, seeing as how mambas are poisonous and have certain poison resistances. I might, similarly, poison fangs and claws my human form would now gain, similar to an IQ mutation.  The user’s hybrid form gains 150% for normal and 200% for ancient to distribute in stats.  All stats are increased by a flat 10% for normal and mythical and 15% for ancient, with final points being distributed as seen fit with a cap of 50% extra for any given stat.  Mythical gains all of the abilities of their forms for their hybrid rather than a large stat boost.  For each 10% over 100% in devil fruit mastery you may give 10% for mythical and regular zoans in two stats and 15% in three stats for ancient.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES CAN YOU COMBINE RUMBLE BALLS AND LIFE RETURN TO GAIN A MONSTER OR AWAKENED FORM!!!!!!!!  No stats boosts gained from any of the forms can increase the devil fruit or haki stats.

PostSubject: Paramecia/Logia   Devil Fruit Guide Icon_minitimeFri Jan 17, 2014 11:54 pm

PARAMECIA/LOGIA

So some of you users have questioned the logic behind choosing a paramecia when zoans seem to have all of the cool stuff. I'll be the first (maybe second) to tell you that you are wrong. Paramecias and logias have an outstanding variety of techniques, abilities, and of course the gears which are arguably more powerful then the rumble ball forms that come with zoans. This topic will basically explain why it isn't a dumb choice to make a paramecia or logia over a zoan. This is not telling a user to choose a paramecia over a normal zoan, what this will tell the user (you) is that paramcias and logias do not 'suck'. I'll also explain everything I can about paramecia and logia while I am at it.

Paramecia have the abilities to create all sorts of random chaos. One fruit can make a jack in the box, and another might have the ability to make the objects around him a jigsaw puzzle for him to put together. Any way you look at it a paramecia has very weird, and often cool, abilities that can rival most zoan abilities if not all of them depending on what the user chooses in a devil fruit. The only real rule between both paramecia and logia is that one can never receive stat increases. So no +10% endurance, no +10% speed, nothing. If the one creating the fruit wants to make some sort of 'power-up fruit' without using a zoan (for some reason) he can technically choose the same stat increase of a zoan or ancient zoan. The maximum can be around 250%, but the fruit will cost a lot and will require gears to get to that level. Basically, the user of that fruit would be inferior to most zoans. And yes, that is the only exception to the no power-up rule. Paramecia can have many different powers or abilities that can cause massive area of effect damage. The only real exception to their powers in canon is that they are not intangible like logia. It's also important to note that every paramecia and logia can have gears, but gears MUST have a side effect to it, and yes these side effects stack if multiple gears are used at once. The severity of the side effect and the power of the gear CAN make a very big impact on the overall cost of your fruit. Remember that paramecia don't get stat increases, but they get strange powers that can very easily fill that small gap. One last thing about paramecias is that they technically don't get a stat bonus like zoans, but they CAN go around that. What I mean by this is that, like Luffy, one can go soru speeds with a gear but they don't get a speed bonus. So one can activate their gear and travel at soru speeds, but there isn't a stat bonus in general. Much like a paramecia can make a gear to solidify the users body, it doesn't mean he increased his endurance.

As seen in canon, paramecias can obtain awakened forms.  Awakening a paramecia fruit allows several upgrades to the fruit.  They obtain a powerful ability that is to be determined by the user, the ability can be anything from allowing the user to turn all inorganic and dead organic meterial into their "element".  It allows the fruit user to gain exreme versions of their gears.  What exactly "extreme" versions of the gears are, are to be determined by the user and approved by the staff.  It may incluse gears without side effects or more powerful versions.  Lastly awakening allows users to increase their devil fruit mastery up to 150%.  For each 10% above 100% devil fruit mastery you may create one more regular gear or add an extreme ability to an existing gear.  In order to awaken you must be at least level 40 and have 100% in devil fruit mastery.

Logia are arguably the strongest devil fruits in the site, and for a reason. Logia can transform into their element, control it, create it, and are unaffected by it. Basically logias are the top guns. The only real rules we have here about logias is that they have to somehow exist in the world. Sound can arguably be a logia because it's there, we just perceive it as sound. Darkness is a logia despite it having no intangibility. In some rare occasions, if we deem it fit, we forcibly transform a paramecia devil fruit a user is creating and classify it a logia (with no intangibility). Basically, logias are meant to be very powerful. A logia can create a seemingly endless amount of whatever element they posses and control it and shift it to become impossible constructs. Lightning can become a dragon, fire can become a giant fireball, and Darkness can become an ocean of shadows that engulfs anything it touches. Basically, Logias are very powerful by nature. Gears of the logia cost the same as paramecia because both can have equally powerful moves (technically speaking). A gum gum fruit can have third gear while the lightning fruit can have lightning speeds; both are very powerful gears. Like paramecia they also have to have side effects, the bigger the side effects of the gear are the less a devil fruit will cost (one can also make the gear stronger with bigger side effects). Overall, Logia are some powerful devil fruits.

Intangibility means that nothing that doesn't effect your element through natural means, or attacks with fists or swords or even guns, can do damage to that part turned into said element. So a person with full fire body transformation can't be hurt by light, darkness, or even sound. However, he CAN get hurt by ice, and maybe smoke. Here's the math equation that all logia intangibility users must know.

Yx2= Amount of posts able to transform per thread. Where Y= Percentage of devil fruit mastery divided by 10.

Basically, a person with 10% can only transform into their element 2 times a thread. A person with 20% can transform 4 times a thread. However, a full body transformation shouldn't be possible until 70%. If a logia chooses to have full body transformation in the early levels, like 10% or 20% devil fruit mastery, the fruit will definitely increase in its price (By a lot). If a person chooses to transform more times a thread then stated above the fruit will increase in price. A person can only have one intangibility form. So a fire logia can't have a solid fire form anymore then he can have liquid fire (don't ask). One very important note on intangibility is that logias do not walk around in their transformed form in 10% devil fruit mastery. Here's a rough guide on areas that can transform, a user of the devil fruit can make their own intangibility growth list, this is only a rough guide.

10% half a limb the user chooses.
20% a limb the user chooses.
30% Two limbs
40% Four limbs
50% User can choose to transform both pairs of limbs or the torso
60% Torso and limbs can transform
70% Full body transformation.

This guide will have information added to it regularly, but for now these are the rules or guides to paramecia/logia.

DEVIL FRUIT LEVEL UP

Devil fruit increase in power similarly to how any other stat does.  For example if the user has 20% in stats to spend they may allocate any % up to 20% into that stat.  However after the devil fruit stat reaches 50% mastery it will take twice as much to level it up.  For example to level up from 40% to 50% the user needs to add 10% of their stat reserve, but to goto 50% to 60% they would need to add 20% from the reserve.  So basically after 50% the user must add 20% to gain 10% more mastery over their fruit until they reach the cap at 100%.

DEVIL FRUIT HOW TO

"Mr. Admin sir, I want to make a devil fruit. It can turn rocks into..."

"Shad ap troll!" *throws a frying pan* I told you to fill out the template!

*clears throat* Alright so here is the template:

To many, parts of this is obvious... In which case you should shut up and make your fruit you should skip parts you already know. But for those who don't...

So let's explain. Name. Pretty basic. Traditionally and preferably, the name should have two syllables in each key word, like gomu, gura, goro, neji, chiri, pika, etc. this is repeated and then followed by "no mi". The name is always somehow related to the power. In english, it is typically the name of the ability in one word repeated twice followed by fruit, such as "gum gum fruit, "tremor tremor fruit", "tweet tweet fruit", and etc. zoans are always followed by their model, which changes fruit to fruit, such as hito hito no mi model: daibutsu.

Sooooo, while you puzzle-piece the name, which we will ignore mostly anyway due to the next issues being more important, here is the next part: type. Type is logia, paramecia, and zoan. Zoans transform you into other beings. There are three general types of zoans: normal, ancient, and mythical. Normal zoans are moderate in strength, or just plain weak (considered the weakest of all devil fruits in some instances). Ancient zoans are far stronger than normal zoans, but ancient zoans are of extinct animals... Meaning either we killed them, or they had a fatal flaw... Either of which means you have to know what you are doing or you will get yourself killed fast. Mythical zoans transform you into something legendary or mythical, like a phoenix, hydra, or giant golden buddha statue with an afro. These often have paramecia-abilities integrated into the transformation, which may resemble ancient zoans btu are often unique entirely. Mythical zoans are considered the most powerful. Logias are fruits that give the abilities of creating, controlling, and becoming your natural element. Examples are magma, dust, sand, acid, etc. It must either be natural or have a theme of something in nature, like the yami yami no mi; keep in mind, the fruit's power is directly related to how much it costs. Logias have touch effects in theme with their fruits, such as dehydrating things on touch, or rotting things on touch. Anything and everything else is paramecia.

Now, effect. This is simply identifying the power specifically. Ok, you're a zoan. Of what? Chimera? Then what is the chimera made of? What can it do? What is your hybrid form like? You have a logia. What is your element? What is your touch effect? Ok, you're a paramecia. What in the name of the devil is your ability? Can you harden things? Blow stuff up? Turn the world into your sandbox? What? Keep in mind, if it is too OP it may be rejected.

The user. That's your character, or weapon. If you don't specify, someone else can snag it from ya and you'll have to say good by to your hard work. Don't leave it blank.

Growth Curve is tricky. You'll need to follow some guide lines here.

LOGIA EXAMPLE

Name: Suna-Suna no mi (Sand-Sand Fruit)
Type: Logia
Effect: The sand sand fruit gives the user the ability to turn into, control, and create, sand. The sand created by the user can turn steel hard without the assistance of gears. This devil fruit also gives the user the ability to suck the fluid from the average opponent or victim. Any hand that touches a person directly CAN suck the fluid from the victims body. Later levels requires less time to suck the liquids from a person, but early levels make the fruit a weaker then average logia. On top of this weak beginning the user has a universal weakness that is near impossible to take away without the assistance of a gear; whenever the opponent is wet the opponent can harm the user with physical strikes. Blades and punches are included in this but not necessarily wet-type logia (they can soak themselves in the wetness and hit the logia user though). The good thing about the fruit is that in later levels, when maxed out, the user can create a virtually limitless amount of sand. The user's intangible form, though, does not suck fluid like his attack sand and it can't harden either without the help of a gear. The sand fruit is stronger then the firs fruit, since the sand can put out fires, but weaker then the magma fruit.
User: Dante Gato
Growth Curve:
0% Does nothing to the user other then standard devil fruit weaknesses. The user never smells bad for some reason.

10% User begins to create constructs around 2 feet tall (weapon sized, like a sword). The user can suck the water from someone in a small amount, this makes the opponent develop a small thirst. They feel parched. The feeling of thirst escalates with each hit, but it never kills the opponent. half a limb can transform into sand for two posts a thread.

20% User begins to create weapons that are wood-hard and can create about ten of them willingly or at once. The constructs can be up to 5 feet tall now and the same wideness. One limb can transform into sand for four posts a thread.

30% User can now create small winds/blizzards with the sand. But it is nothing more then an area of effect attack with liquid stealing powers. User can control the sand somewhat to create bigger objects to attack opponents. The objects can go up to 10 feet tall, but they don't weigh much. It's sand, but not compressed. The feeling of thirst is now increased to a feeling of extreme thirst. With an excessive amount of hits (15 hits) the opponent can pass out. The user can also use the sand around him to create unsuspecting weapons. User can transform two of his limbs into sand for six posts a thread.

40% The user of this devil fruit now has sand as hard as iron when it is hardened. The sand can now be created in greater quantity. He can create small waves made of hard sand (it's basically heavy sand). The sand can be used to grab opponents, and can be controlled and morphed into many shapes and sizes ranging to up to 15 feet tall. The fruit can now transform four limbs into sand for eight posts a thread. User can make a wider range of attacks with blizzard sand, but not by much (about 20 feet AOE).

50% The user of this devil fruit can create sand waves the size of bigger real life waves and constructs around 40 feet high and wide. The sand can be manipulated by free will and can be either the hardened type of sand or the fluid absorption type. The fluid absorption type can now make a person lose weight noticeably per strike. After around ten strikes the person becomes a skeleton zombie, almost. User can transform four limbs or his torso into sand for ten posts a thread.

60% The user of this devil fruit can create sand as hard as steel at this rank. The sand created with this is much denser, and heavier, then the iron hard sand in the earlier levels. The user can create constructs about the size of half a decently sized house. The heaviness isn't excessive, but the user can now technically kill a person if enough sand is buried on top of the user (not the suffocation wouldn't kill the user anyways). The sand user can also create the fluid absorbing type of sand in the shape of larger blizzards or wind-like techniques that are 40 feet around him. User can transform all four of his limbs, and his torso, into sand for twelve posts a thread.

70% The user of this devil fruit can create giant waves that can overtake a small town, or cause a blizzard, in the expense of fatigue. Even with high endurance the effect still kicks in as general 'fatigue', if it's any larger then a small town the person will pass out. The sand that absorbs fluid can now make a person look like a zombie skeleton in 5 posts of direct or continual contact. Can transform his entire body into sand for 14 posts per thread.

80% The user can create giant sized objects with a one post preparation, and orz sized objects with a two post preparation. The user can create an entire desert in 10 posts, or a blizzard in that amount of posts. The user also now starts to gain the ability to create iron hard sand with the ability to absorb at the same time. The absorption stays at 5 posts of direct or continual contact. Can transform his entire body into sand for 16 total posts per thread.

90% The user can now create the previous constructs in half the time. The user can now create steel-hard sand with the absorption ability that can deplete the average body of water in 2 posts of continuous hits or direct hits. Can transform his body into sand 18 total posts a thread.

100% The user can now destroy an entire island if he were to fight a logia with equal abilities as him when it comes to devil fruit mastery. An island can end up with a wide dessert taking over the entire island, no vegetation would be able to grow, and sandstorms can easily form on their own in random occasions (made of normal sand). The user can now create things without the above stated cool downs, and gains the extra ability of turning things like stone and wood into sand particles by touching them with his palm. Obviously this wouldn't work on sea stone. It can work on metals if the user concentrates for 2 posts without needing to move from the spot. To make things clear, the user CAN create a nearly limitless amount of sand, and is very versatile in the objects that can be created by sand (such as swords, a hawk, spear, sphere, tsunami, or even a tower). These are all techniques, of course, not automatic abilities. Fluids are now sucked in one post after contact with the user's palm or steel hard sand. The user can now walk around with a sand logia transformation without needing about a limitation per thread. The sand the user creates can technically turn into only being steel hard with no absorption, but, that's better for hostages. The objects he 'touches' with his hand can only make a hole a maximum of 4 feet in radius (or 8 foot diameter).

The sands effect on an individual depend on their endurance. The effects depending on endurance are listed bellow and work with all sand techniques that involve draining water.
10%: The opponent dies and turns to sand automatically upon being hit.
20%: the one hit is zombified and needs desperate water to survive. He is knocked out and will die of dehydration in 5 posts unless they drink a jug of water (1 gallon).
30%: The one hit is awake when zombified and needs water desperately. He will find it very hard to move but he can crawl to a near source of water. If the person does not find water in 5 posts he dies, the water must be a gallon minimum.
40%: The one hit by the sand is zombified, but can move and run but will find it difficult to do it normally. It will take 5 posts for the one hit to die unless they drink at least 10 oz of water.
50%: The one hit will feel very thirsty but not be zombified. He can run and walk almost freely, but the thirst will eventually consume him if he does not drink 10oz of water in 10 posts.
60%: The one hit will freely move around without much troubles other then the dry tongue they are inevitably feeling. If they don't find water in twenty posts, about 10oz of it, they will die.
70%+: The user will lose 10% endurance from here and forward with every hit from the sand, but they have no chance of dying from dehydration with their endurance this high and higher.

Note: The user of this devil fruit will absorb water, that's what I mean by fluids and nutrients (which I use interchangeably because I am.. well, tired atm). The hand absorption, which is only mentioned in the beginning, actually does the equivalent to his sand absorption on top of the other effect explained. Also, having sand around multiplies the distance, height, and width of the techniques by two. However, it does not effect the power or hardness of the technique. Anyone who is hit by his sand techniques and his endurance decreases to 0% turn to sand automatically. Gears that don't mention combining with other gears can't be combined.

Gears

Mascota Del Diablo: The user summons a black dragon from his hand made of black sand. The black sand can break down metal-hard objects, and absorb any liquid as quickly as the user can touch wood (instantly upon touch). It takes two posts to break down diamond hard objects, and this technique can never break down sea stone. If this technique were to connect with another person then their endurance decreases by 50%. This technique does not work on energy-like attacks, so lava will melt through it (obviously), fire can stop it if it has the right amount and heat, and lightning can clash with it. The dragon is controlled for two posts, willingly, and goes as fast as the user's maximum speed. The dragon is fifty feet tall and serpent-like, 10 foot width. The user loses 40% endurance per usage at 60% DF mastery, 20% endurance at 80% DF mastery, and 10% endurance at 100% DF mastery. The user can't use any other technique that involves his DF while this one is at play (in other words, he can't control or create other types of sand while doing this technique).

El Espiritu De La Arena: Dante's body turns into sand (noticeably). Horns grow on his new form's head leaving the shape of a demon on the sand that is his body. His body doesn't look like a solid entity, his body is a light amount of sand that one can see through (he is not invisible, he is easily noticed in anything but a mountain of a desert, then he's just harder to notice but not invisible because of the background). He looks like a sand spirit, but with horns. He can't summon other forms of sand in this form, but in exchange for this weakness he can move about at soru speeds and see things that are his speed during this form. If the user learns Soru speed then this technique doubles the speed of soru. The user can also separate its body willingly and reattach itself, but one part of the body must always be touching another (so he cant seperate himself into twenty pieces without having them connected somehow). The user loses 30% endurance every 3 posts at 60% DF mastery, 20% every 3 posts at 80% DF mastery, and 10% every 3 posts at 100% DF mastery. The users body, while in this form, functions as the user's 'touch-effect', which means he can still absorb water like he usually does by touching people, but with his body instead of his hands and feet. The user can carry weapons in this form, since they don't vanish from sight.

ZOAN EXAMPLE

Name: Inu Inu no Mi, Model: Barghest
Type: Mythical Zoan
Effect: The fruit gives the user the ability to change into a full and hybrid Barghest form.  The Barghest is a pitch-black ghostly dog, roughly the size of a bear.  The head of the Barghest holds two bright yellow eyes and curved horns.  Not only this, but the Barghest also has the ability to turn invisible, allowing it an easier time to stalk its prey.  According to rumour, a Barghest is only seen by someone who is soon due to die.
User: Hal Orzhan
Growth Curve:
0%: The user’s irises become a bright yellow colour.  No other effect occur.

10%: The user now has the ability to change into their Full and Hybrid forms. The Hybrid form gains a 10% increase to Strength.  The Full Form gains a 5% increase to Perception and 5% increase to Speed.  Including this, both forms gain some minor invisibility.  Individuals trying to see the Hybrid form have a 5% penalty to Perception to do so.  Individuals trying to see the Full form have a 10% penalty to Perception to do so.  The claws and teeth on both of these forms are roughly the same as a marine's starting sword for the ability to cut.

20%: Hybrid now has a 10% increase to Strength and a 10% increase to Skill.  Hybrid now also has a 10% to being seen.  Full form now has 10% increase to Perception and 10% increase to Speed.  Full form also has a 20% penalty to being seen.  The user now also has the ability to use Rumble balls and 2 new forms.  These forms are the Rabid and Hunter forms.  The Rabid form looks much like the Hybrid form.  The Rabid has half the mastery level placed into Strength bonus and the other half placed into Endurance.  The Rabid form also has a mouth full of canine teeth, making their bite more piercing and has access to Hybrid form level invisibility.  The Hunter form looks like a slimmer version of the Full form.  The Hunter has half the mastery level placed into Speed and the other half placed into Agility.  The Hunter also has access to Full form level invisibility.

30%: The Hybrid form now has a 20% increase to Strength and a 10% increase to Skill.  Hybrid now also has a 15% penalty to being seen.  Full form now has 10% increase to Perception, 10% increase to Speed and a 10% increase to Agility.  Full form also has a 30% penalty to being seen.  In Full form, the user can now track someone up to one mile away, before losing their scent.

50%: Hybrid form now has a 20% increase to Strength, 10% to Skill, 10% to Speed and 10% to Endurance.  Hybrid form also has a 25% penalty to being seen.  Full form now has a 20% increase to Speed, 20% increase to Perception and a 10% increase to Agility.  Full form also has a 50% penalty to being seen. The user's claws and teeth can now, rather easily, cut through rock.  The user may also now gain access to the Fighter form.  In this form, the user looks like a bulkier version of the Hybrid form.  This form gives a third of the mastery level into Skill, Tactical Intelligence and Endurance (Skill and Tactical Intelligence stopping at 33%, Endurance stopping at 34%).  This form has access to Hybrid form level invisibility.

60%: Hybrid form now has a 20% increase to Strength, 20% to Skill, 10% to Speed and 10% to Endurance.  Hybrid now also has a 30% penalty to being seen.  Full form now has a 25% increase to Speed, 25% to Perception and 10% to Agility.  Full form now also has a 60% penalty to being seen.  The user may now track someone for up to 5 miles away before losing their scent.  The user may also now gain access to the Alpha form.  The Alpha form looks almost exactly like the Full form apart from the fact that it is much larger.  Alpha form has half the mastery level to Strength and the other half into Speed.  The Alpha form also has access to Full form level invisibility.

70%: Hybrid form now has a 20% increase to Strength, 20% to Skill, 20% to Endurance and 10% to Speed.  Hybrid now also has a 35 penalty to being seen.  Full form now has a 30% increase to Speed, 30% to Perception and 10% to Agility.  Full form now also has a 70% penalty to being seen.  As well as this, the user may now gains access to Ultimate and Monster forms (in that order).  The Ultimate form takes on the looks of the Hybrid form.  With Ultimate, the Hybrid has a small increase to size, increases the size to roughly half-giant for a human user, and, ofcourse, an increase to weight.  The teeth of the Ultimate form are all canines.  The Ultimate form has a 10% increase to all stats (bar Devil Fruit Mastery), except for Strength, Endurance and Skill, which all have a 20% increase.  The Ultimate form has access to Hybrid form level invisibility. The Monster form is a much larger and heavier version, half-giant size for a human user, of the Full form.  The Monster form gives a 50% increase to Speed and Agility.  The Monster Form has access to Full form invisibility.  The Monster Form also has the ability to track individuals up to 20 miles away before losing their scent.

The user may now track someone up to 10 miles away before losing track of their scent.  The user may now also switch between all forms reflexively.

100%: Hybrid form now has a 30% increase to Strength, 30% to Skill, 30% to Endurance and 10% to Speed.  Hybrid now also has a 50% penalty to being seen.  Full form now has a 40% increase to Perception, 30% to Speed and 30% to Agility.  Full form now has a 100% penalty to being seen.  The user may now track someone up to 15 miles away before losing track of their scent. As well as this, the user may now activate his Awakened Forms.  If the user does so, they lose all other forms they had and gain an Awakened Human form, Awakened Hybrid form and Awakened Full form.  The Awakened Hybrid and Awakened Full forms are the Ultimate and Monster forms, respectively, but may now be fully controlled.  The new Awakened Form gives a 10% bonus to every stat.  The new form would cause the user to become slightly larger and heavier than usual.  Fur would also cover their body such as their arms, legs, chest and face.  The user also gains a slightly bushy tail, dog-like eyes and nose, claws at the end of their fingertips and sharper, longer canine teeth.  With becoming awakened, the user gains Awakened Healing and Awakened Senses.  As well as this, the user gains Awakened Invisibility.  This allows the user to become invisible in all forms with a penalty of 100% to be seen.  All of the Awakened forms have claws and teeth that can cut through steel, like a hot knife through butter.

PARAMECIA EXAMPLE

Name: Hone Hone no Mi (Bone Bone Fruit)

Type: Paramica

Effect: The user gains control over their bones which allows them to do a variety of things with them. Being very similar to a logia, the fruit has a good number of abilities that match up with said fruit typing. The user is able to control, alter the density, thickness, and regrow and reshape their bones. With the fruit the user is able to create and allocate calcium throughout their body. This ability allows the user to harden their skin and bones. The user’s bones can become as strong as supreme grade steel = carbon steel or as fragile as glass. At the peaks of mastery the user is able to grow any entirely new skeletal structure or even grow an exoskeleton.

User:

Growth Curve:
0%- The users bones are stronger than an average human, it's as if they have been drinking a lot of milk their entire life. Standard devil fruit weaknesses apply.
10%- The user is able to enlarge one bone slightly as well as increase the density making it 10% harder.
20%- The user is able to increase two bones at a time as well as increase the density 20%.
30%- The user is able to reshape bones and extend them outside of their body. The density is 30% harder.
40%- The user would be able to extend and reshape their arm bone into a spear or sword. Density of the bones increases 40% more than usual.

70%- The user can create an exoskeleton outside of their body. They can extend their bones outwards much more efficiently. The user can place their hands on the ground and create a row a of spikes in front of them. Its durability is that of weak steel. The user is able to use Angelic Armor. Effects of Fallen Angel are reduced by 2%.
80%- The users capable of creating a super hard, shell around their body that is durable enough to withstand most attacks. With this level the strength of the bone can be as strong as mid-grade steel. The user is able to use Angel of Resurrection.
90%- The user can fill a battlefield with sharp bones, almost making a small forest of it (10m). Its durability is that of a great grade blade. The user is able to use Arc Angel of Destruction. Angelica Armor amd Angel of Resurrection effects are reduced by 2%. The 2% applies to both clones.
100%- The user has completely mastered their fruit. They can create constructs from bone that could cover an island worth of land. If it's possible with most logia type fruits, the user would likely be able to do something similar. The user’s bones are as strong as a supreme grade sword. The user is able to use Angelic Horror. Fallen Angel only takes 2%, Angelic Armor takes 3% Angelic Resurrection takes 5% per clone, and Arc Angel of Destruction takes 20% endurance per use.

Angel of Resurrection Gear: The user is able to create two skeletal clones. Both clones are able to use abilities the same as the user except for other gears. The two clones both take 10% endurance for every use, up to three posts per use.

Arc Angel of Destruction Gear: The user is able to create an area of complete destruction by pushing out sharp spear like bones of various sizes and shapes at the same rate as an explosion. Bones as durable as steel and as sharp as any blade extend out with the user as the epicenter for 50m. The user loses 30% endurance per use.

Angelic Horror: The user is transformed into a monster made from bone. With sharp claws, horns, jagged teeth and a long spiked tail with a spiked club at the end, the pearl white armor looks like some kind of demonic light beast. The bone around the user becomes sharp enough to cut most anyone who touches it. It stands about 18ft tall and weighs around three tons. The user loses 50% endurance per use, five posts per use.

Ability Points Cost:

(Fruit made by Cobdogred)

As for cost, this is I collect your heart, bowels, and soul Ability Points so you can use it. If you can't pay, the fruit is available for others who can until you, or one of them, does finally purchase it. Have fun running on my wheel, hamster building your character to the best of your ability!

It should be noted that the devil fruit growth curve should not include every technique in the technique list. A person can show the growth curve and give basic abilities that come with growth, but leave the complicated techniques in the technique tree. A example is the suna suna user used above. He can create sand, transform into his element, and buy the gears stated on his sheet when his devil fruit mastery reaches those points.

Claiming the level the character can transform into a gear doesn't mean he can transform into it automatically. You (the user) has to buy the Gear(s) from the ability point store, which cost 10AP per gear.

Devil Fruit Guide Empty
PostSubject: Re: Devil Fruit Guide   Devil Fruit Guide Icon_minitimeSat Dec 19, 2015 8:59 pm

Sources of Power

Alright, some of you wimpy maggots figured out that a magma man near a volcano is stronger than any sea. And you want to know how much it effects your power. Alright, so this is a little tid bit on that.

Unlimited Sources
Unlimited sources of power produces such a quanity of the element that you can continue to use it constantly without draining its resources. Such a resource will double the power of any element which is applicable. So that magma user with 100% mastery will now have 200% next to a volcano.

Limited Sources

Limited sources of power are sources of your element which are cut off, which can make them weaker than your own ability to procure your element. Limited sources can only consist of abilities which have a technique list devoted to it, or would normally have on devoted to it on another profile, such as devil fruits or life return. To use a limited source of power, you must have a technique devoted to absorbing that kind of source. Limited sources increase the power of the user by the value of the applicable stats before limited sources are applied. Which is to say, if you have 80% going towards fire, adding a limited source would make it 160%, then 240% with another, and so on.

Keep in mind, unlimited source are calculated before limited sources. With that in mind, if someone has 80% going towards the element of choice, with both an unlimited and limited source, the element would be quadrupled to 320%, and each additional source would add 160%.
