Pk Pirates Chapter 3: Rise of The Great Cthulu

The waves slammed hard against the sides of the ships rocking it to and fro like a child running with a stuffed animal in hand. Blake shout bursts of flames to try and evaporate the water into steam at waves coming at the ship, while Danto was stocking up and putting things in the bottom of there ship. "None of this would have happened if we chose to get a navigator while we were at the jail." Danto screamed at Blake "these the calm little blues this is the grandline we need a log pose and a navigator!" Danto screamed towards Blake who in turn shot a stream of fire that he purposely missed Danto with. Blake then didnt see the giant wave that towered over the ship and he screamed, "GRAB ONTO SOMETHING!" Blake screamed as he grabbed the wheel of the ship and attempted the steer away, but when he saw it would be impossible, he turned the ship and began steering it straight through the wave, Blake used his fire as exhaust and blasted a hole through the wave allowing them to go free. Blake felt the ship uncontrollably spinning, "WHIRLPOOL!!!" Blake screamed as a wave sent them careening into the side of an island basically cracking the foundation of the ship. Blake fell off the ship and onto the island and Danto crawled down, "Wow we made it." Blake weakly mumbled before blacking out and Danto dragged him along the shore.

"What's happening!?" Akio yelled as he fell from side to side on the ship's deck.

His face began to turn green. He was obviously sea sick. However because of the ship's swaying he had to swallow it. Suddenly the ship seemed to hit something...an island!? Akio fell of the deck and onto the shore of the island. He was wet and sick. He spat out some water from his mouth.

"Next time...let me do the driving.." he said as he got to his feet.

He structured his arms out.

"Sooo, where are we?"

"Now I am going to die." was the first thought of Sculpris when he watched the giant wave that was coming towards them. However, somehow, what he expected did not happen. Miraculously, the crew managed to get away safely, although they were dragged away from their original path and seemed to have ended up on an island.

That idea was making Sculpris feel pretty uncomfortable. He was not the kind of person who liked arriving at islands. He was afraid of people more than anything and he hated interactions with other people. As a result, when Danto and Blake started moving at the shore, Sculpris sat on a chair and started playing the flute. It looked like he was not interested in moving anywhere. He prefered staying in a quiet place rather than walking away with the possibility of meeting people.

Blake regained consciousness and got up dusting himself off and checked the damage done on the ship, he put his hands on his hips and whistled "Wow I am surprised the ship wasn't fully demolished." Blake then mocked Akio "It's not my fault you joined a reckless crew who sails into the grandline without a captain." Blake trudged on the shore and read a torn sign reading, "Cthulu Island." Blake cracked his neck as he saw a pirate flag and then turned to Crystalis, "Hey we are gonna need you to explore this is pirate territory and I think we are pretty recognizable by now so yeah Crystalis we are gonna also need you, I got something on the ship that can help you Blake ran towards the ship and ran out the bottom floor with a hood, cover yourself up and keep your flute near you it seems to calm you." Blake took a deep breath of the sea air and ran towards the island.

"R-Right. Ro-roger that." Sculpris said with a trembling voice to the captain and he got up from his position. Then he looked at the hood that he was given by his captain and he quickly put it on his head. With a doubt, the swordsman and musician of the crew jumped from the ship on the land and looked around. Hopefully, he had his flute with him. As long as he had it with him, he felt much better. "W-Where are we going?" he questioned Blake afterwards.

"Oi, Oi I didn't really have a choice." Akio replied as he dusted himself off.

He let out a yawn and looked towards the island's direction. A small smile grew on his lips.

"Haha, another island, another adventure." he let out

Akio's looked towards the boat, it wasn't really broken however a few holes could be found on it's left side. He turned to face the island.

"Guess Im off." he said to himself as he went off after Blake.

Helena Walker, the long-arm tribe doctor of the crew who was rarely unacompanied by her strange zoan infused weapon, Dobbins, quickly ran atop the deck puzzled on the sudden event that threw her and her odd hooved compainion around the sick bay as if they were rag dolls or jusy lumps now very bruised flesh.
Helena widened her eyes as she saw they were very much stuck on the island at the moment, while Dobbins continued to act unimpressed as usual, and with her mouth agape she asked the obvious question.
"What on earth just happened? Was there a tornado or something?", before hopping of the ships deck onto the shore, with Dobbins following in suit loyaly. She then sighed before adding; "You guys really to put a window in my room! Or tell me these things before I get thrown around. Ah well, where we ended up?"
She looked around rather cheerfully despite their perdicement, with Dobbins giving a short neigh in annoyance.

Blake looked back at Crystalis and said, "Um well were going in the island to find some wood for the ship to fix, maybe to find a navigator, and just cause we're pirates although not a primary goal we take this island back from these pirates.". Blake then remembered, "Oh yea Danto go and wait on the ship for Penelope to come.". Danto smiled and ran back towards the ship, "Akio and Crystalis you guys are with me." Blake frowned as he saw maybe 3 marine ships in the far distance sailing towards the island, "Shit marines, we better hurry into the island before they make it here." Blake began jogging for the town that seemed about 100 meters away, and screamed back at Danto and Helena, "Hurry up Marines and they are coming quick.". Danto grabbed Helena's hand as said, "We got thrown around by a storm and we are on some place called Cthulu Island."

Helena blinked in confusion for a few seconds before grinning and simply saying; "Guess it's time to run then!", and slipped her hand away from Danzo and leapt onto Dobbins back, who then proceeded to gallop away at breakneck speed, following afte rher fellow crew members.
"A storm huh? That's pretty unlucky, though it's our own fault for not having a navigator really, kinda one of the main bits for a crew you sillies! Then again, i'm silly for joining without knowing that.", she babbled cheerfully while on horseback; Dobbins merely giving his usual aggresive neigh, and continued sprinting along.
"Whats a Cthulu by the way? Maybe it's just a name for the place and dosent really mean anything but ya never knows. Once went ot a place that turned out to be called Moo Island before. Had lots of cows. Where are we running to?", she excitedly then chattered, seeming almost oblivious from the marines they were fleeing from.

Sculpris listened to the words of his captain who was saying that he was going to go inside the town in order to find some wood to fix the ship. Damn! That was something bad... Sculpris was avoiding contact with people and now the captain wanted him to follow him while they would be searching for materials to repair the broken ship. "Yes, captain." Sculpris said with a hesitant voice and he was about to follow his captain wherever he would go.

Blake sighed and said, "Crystalis its alright play your flute the soothing sound calms you and it seems like your agoraphobia just disappears. Blake lead his team into the forest as they would have to pass through to get to the island. Danto mumbled before grumbling and finally saying, "Well I have read before that Cthulu is an ancient war squid that when looked into its eye even the strongest willed men are brought to the scale of madness, Cthulu's weapon and weighed and in the past everyone was turned into a mad man,a vicious cruel being of there true nature, but one time Cthulu turned one of Poseidon's messengers into a mad men and Poseidon sealed Cthulu into the Earth, so we can assume the Cthulu Pirates are attempting to revive Cthulu and unleash him on the world once again." Blake was smiling, "I can't wait to take on Cthulu!" Danto looked at Blake in amazement, "ANCIENT... WAR... SQUAD, the warden nearly killed you and now your taking on something legend say was 200 feet tall and 800 feet wide!" Blake clenched his fists, "Now you got me pumped!!"

Sculpris would not say a thing while his captain was speaking to him. Apparently, his whole body was trembling right below his clothes. The whole story about the giant squid and its power had scared him off completely. Sculpris was not the kind of person who was brave. In fact he was extremely timid unless he was in a great danger. If his life was not at the verge of death, he would not find the power to fight back and show his true power.

However, just like his captain said, he had a weapon to fight his fears. He had his flute. For as long as he had his flute with him and he could play it, he could feel safe and protected from anything dangerous. After all, Sculpris' music with the flute had achieved a mastery level which he could use it in battle. As a result, the musician was not only gaining mental strength with it, but also real strength in a battle. And so, Sculpris started playing the flute the whole time he was with his captain.

Blake sighed Crystalis's music always soothed him and he was gently swaying back and forth bumping into Danto who was behind him every time he swayed backwards. Crystalis's music calmed Danto down from his aggravation towards his older brother's ignorance, soon they arrived in town and the first things Blake noticed about the town was torn mud huts and broken chapels, Blake noticed horses galloping away with sobbing children into the forest and buildings beginning to be burned down, Blake got angered and shoot his hand straight out and the flames seemed to be blown away but Blake was attracting them towards him and had them wrapped around his fist, "Ka Fennikusu Attack!" The flames shot off Blake's fist and formed into a phoenix and as soon as it came in contact with the arsonist it seemed to basically exploded leaving an orange cloud that seered eye lashes at the tip formed and the arsonist were unconscious. Blake then was meet by hugs from many ladies thanking him in some weird language and Blake screamed "Danto get the kids from the horses." A big buff brownish tan man appeared before Blake and Blake was barely half his height the man kneeled before Blake and thanked him and Blake shrugged it off.

Crystalis did not say a thing while they were in the town. Apparently, the view was too tragic for a person who was easily becoming scared. However, with his captain and his flute by his side, he felt that the danger was less than he normally would, he felt that it was less than it actually was. The young man took a look at his captain when he took down the arsonist and he tried to think how he could help. However, when Blake commanded Danto to get the kids from the horses, before Danto moved, Crystalis made his movement. He run swiftly towards the direction of the horses and with a smile on his face, he started playing his flute. The horses twitched and stopped when they listened to the melody of the flute and in a few seconds they all fell on the ground asleep. Crystalis had just stopped them. "The First Melody." he said afterwards.

Danto began running towards after Crystalis and saw as Crystalis played his flute bringing the horses to sleep and it also seemed to put the horses to sleep, and calm the children down. Danto lifted the children on his shoulders and trotted back to where the village was but was shot at by a bamboo dart, Danto took it in the arm and took it out and a small cut was open in him, he carefully dropped the kids and shot his arm towards where the bamboo shot came from he felt an impact and heard a grunt and a shadow dropped. It looked like a man with robes on and tattoos all over his face, He and Danto were at a standoff and then suddenly fire came from his robes and he jetted off away into the sky.

Sculpris would not speak while playing his flute. The horses were sleeping but Sculpris was actually in an inspiration mood and so he would not simply stop like that. He was forming a new piece of melody with his flute and he was actually enjoying. There were a few times that he really did not feel uncomfortable and that was one of these times. Whenever he was creating a piece of music, he was actually pretty happy and he was not worrying whether there were hundreds or even thousands of people around him. However, he was still watching around and he could see the man with the robes and with the tattoos all over his face. "Who is that man?" he wondered while looking at the man jetting off into the sky.

Danto began to droozily stumble the kids who had now awakened close by to him and when they reached the village place its like Danto had a great release and collapsed. Blake began running to his brothers as individuals who were probably relatives of the kids ran and hugged them. The chief lead Blake and his crew into his hut which was also the villages medical center. As a small girl was applying some herbs to Danto's body, "Let me explain this story to you, your friend was poisoned..... poisoned by my son, it all starts back with Cthulu, this is the island he was sealed in." The chief gazed around the room, "Well along with him his disciples the ones of his code were sent with him frozen in time but when people lost faith Poseidon gave up on humanity not fully relinquishing the curse but leaving small cracks in the seals at first only grunts came and we slaughtered most of them, but we counted our victory too early as the admirals higher up generals of the Cthulu order came we were the ones in retreat, this whole island used to be ours now we only have this small strip of the edge of the island, and we can only keep it if we give the Cthulu order 1/3 of our crops." The chief sighed hesitantly he continued the story, "Well yea my son was born in all this madness and was corrupted he felt we weren't doing anything about the order who had sailed out to sea to get more followers so he took off into the woods and was never seen although some think he is dead he attacks anyone who he knows is not a villager. The chief looked like he was holding something back but before Blake could address him about it the whole island shook and as Blake rushed out it was an army of people.

Sculpris would follow Danto and Blake while they were guided to the chief's place and he would watch at them with his hand holding his flute tightly as he was afraid of those people and he did not really know what they would do to him. They could be enemies and so he did not really trust them. He had to be careful, especially with his beloved flute so that other people would not take it away from him. However, it looked like he had a wrong impression about the chief and his people. Those people looked pretty friendly and they looked like they were in trouble. He could relax a little bit, now. But, even if the swordsman and musician of the PK Pirates wanted to relax, things would not allow him to. At the moment he realized that he was safe at the place, he listened to the sound that the people made and he rushed along with blake to see that it was an army of people. Shit. More people.

Banners with a grey squid with crazy reding purple eye and veins bulging from its head plastered on the big black flags. Blake generated a fireball and shot it straight at the front of the army line and a small explosions bursted from where it landed. Blake ran in and screamed "Ka Tenshi Henkan!" As he screamed swirls of flame wrapped around his abdomen and engulfed the rest of his body and sprouting flame like wings. Blake using fire flew overhead of the army and screamed, "Ka Fennikusu Attack!" A stream of fire that transformed into a Phoenix shot at the army and blew up on contact sending the army a few steps back. Just then the hooded figure that ambushed Danto landed down and started shooting blow darts at the army and it seemed the army was at a retreat when three men stepped up all of them looked much stronger than those grunts, Blake landed and rushed at the strongest looking one, the hooded figure took the second strongest, "Crystalis take this last guy." The last guy had a sword with many hooks and edges in it. Blake got punched by the guy he was facing sending him skidding backwards once again Blake jetted towards the dude this time smashing his knee in the guy's chin causing him to double over.

"Huh? What?" Crystalis said with a look on his face that showed how much surprised he was. That was... absurd. He did not keep up with the events that were going on due to his fear that did not allow him to see anything and when he started understanding a little bit, his captain wanted him to take on an enemy. Whatever... He would do it. There was no other way, after all. With a decisive look on his face, Sculpris unsheathed his sword and he pointed with it towards the enemy. "I do not like doing this... But if the captain wants me to do so, I have no other option. Sorry." he said with a serious voice, yet trembling legs because of his fear towards many people.

Blake groaned and thought, I can't let Crystalis suffer like this but what is there to do, Danto was unconscious and wouldn't wake up for hours. Blake turned to face his opponent and his opponent was rushing at him in top speeds, Blake ducked and swept the man's legs but the man floated up and punched Blake in the face sending him skidding backwards. Blake lifted himself up and rushed at the man they clashed fist and Blake was then kicked aside the man then the man gripped his wrist and generated a ball of darkness and shot it at Blake, this blasted Blake in the chest and it exploded knocking him out then the hooded figure, then one was shot towards Crystalis. The strongest went up to the village leader and said, "In 2 weeks the Cthulu Tournament will start you win the island is yours we win..... and Cthulu rises and the world is plunged into darkness." The strongest smirked and cackled as he turned away and so did the army.

Crystalis looked at the whole scene, while trembling because of the fear he was feeling... That feeling... This time it was bigger than any time. Crystalis could not understand what was going on... Was it the presence of those strange hooded men around him or were the vibes in the air that were turning him into a bigger coward than he already was. He did not have an answer. He could not give it to this question. As the battles took place, Crystalis would only defend himself and try to avoid getting damaged. However, after a while, while the balls of darkness were launched to everybody around, Crystalis was also hit. The ball exploded right below him and the force of the darkness caused terrible damage to the young man, sending him flying several meters away. His hat vanished upon the impact, while the rest of his equipment was barely saved by Sculpris while he was sent away. In the end, Sculpris hit on a wall and he ultimately fell unconscious. He was defeated.

Blake woke up in the infirmary, Danto was missing from his bed, Blake got up ignoring the pain and walked into the main room where he saw Danto and the chief sitting there talking then Danto turned around and welcomed Blake. Blake took a seat and Danto discussed precautions they could take, "Well we have only seen the skills of the guy who defeated you, Crystalis, and the hooded man. We know the hooded man uses explosive type moves so what you need is to spawn fire at a quicker rate something that will allow you to activate the on contact explosions. There was a moment of silence then Blake said, "I actually hope Cthulu rises I want to kick his ass." Danto growled, "What's wrong with you! Cthulu makes those servants that kicked your ass like ants and you, you of all people want to fight the master he will destroy the world!" Silence rang through the room once more, Blake gulped and said, "Well I guess I need to start training!" Blake was walking out when Danto shot his arm onto Blake's shoulder and said, "So are Sculpris and I!" Danto and Blake smiled and walked out.

Sculpris woke up along with the rest of the PK pirates. He was once more in the room of the chief along with his fellow crewmates. What happened before could be seen in his mind very clearly... He was humiliated very easily by the enemies, he was squashed like a bug. Just because of his fear over people, he was unable to use his powers at their full extend and so he was defeated very easily... That fear he had... He had to overcome it somehow, at least momentarily... He did not know what to do. And while he was thinking all these things, he listened to the discussion of Blake with the chief. He was listening very quietly... After all, nothing was related to him from what the two men discussed. However, the last sentence would ultimately scare him off. "So are Sculpris and I!" Danto said to Blake about who would fight the enemies and Sculpris froze. "Wh-WHAT?!" he said with a funny voice as soon as he listened to this and he fainted immediately, resulting in having his crewmates dragging him out of the room while they were getting outside. Sculpris was such a coward...

Blake and Danto decided to split up to get the effectiveness of the training extended. Blake decided to train in a steel room with unmeltable metal reinforcing it, Danto was in a field of spinning dummies with spikes attached so Danto had to learn to dodge and use his fruit to assist his dodging skills while also learning to apply more force into his moves. Danto and Blake decided to leave Sculpris with a muse who uses his harp to hypnotize and fool others who was also a swordsman just like Sculpris. The muse strung the strings on his harp and softly whispered wake up in Sculpris's ear.
