Serious: Steel Village Regroup at Nanoto Island

"Web of Deception" Luke said walking out of the darkness behind Desais. He wasn't quiet either, he said it and walked loud enough so Desais could hear him clearly. All around Desais were threads about as visible as clear fishing line in the daylight however it was as strong as steel cables. Holding the end of one of the strings, Luke used flash to reach another string. He repeated the process which took no long than a few seconds to archive. Luke began using flash over and over shooting from wall to wall, the strings began to quickly wrap around Desais. In all Desais has less than three second to avoid getting caught.

Hearing Luke yell out his attack and implement it was all Desais needed to hear. Right at the last second Desais escaped the webbing, but left behind Luke's sword stabbed into the ground. Just as Desais left the trap, he sent dozens of phalange bullets and air slashes right at the direction of the trap in hopes to strike Luke.

"Soru" Luke opted for an attack of his own rather than falling for such an obvious trap. With his speed he was next to Desais in the blink of an eye with his left arm held out at Desais' head. Pulling the trigger, Luke fires at the side of Desais' head from point blank range. Even with a thick skull like Desais' this would leave his head ringing for a while, not to mention the sound of it right beside his ear. With that, Luke made a dash for his blade; the assassin wasn't foolish enough to do so before.

Desais made his skull bone thicker than before and the bullet went a little ways through but didnt succeed and when it had stopped Desais quickly sent the bullet out of his head. Desais smiled as he watched Luke go for the sword. With one blink of an eye the phalanges Desais left behind on the hilt of the blade spiked outward into Lukes hand.

Luke pulled out the second of his twelve inch black steel daggers and used them to deflect the bullet like attacks. Skidding to a halt he sheathed the blade in his right hand before picking up his sword, removing it from the ground. Luke sheathed hit katana and held the dagger in his left in a defensive position. He awaited his comrades next move.

Desais knew exactly where Luke was at due to the large amounts of sound he made from the movement and the blood dripping from his hand. Although he knew all of this, he waited for a bit before he attacks. This guy is really good. I feel we are evenly matched but at the same time that he has more cards up his sleeve Desais thought. Then Desais finally began his attack. Desais slammed his hands against the nearest wall and the floor, causing bone spikes to rush up from the ground right at Luke. Then Desais swung his swords around sends air slashes following the spikes close behind. After the air slashes were launched Desais ran towards Luke head on.

After having dragged five boulders from the gravel pit towards the volcano Takumi stopped for a while at the gravel pit to give himself a chance to rethink his strategy and rest up a bit.
Clearly, just dragging them uphill like this wouldn't do it. He would barely get halfway like this.
Perhaps breaking parts of the surrounding crater off to make the volcano serve as it's own plug? But then the volcano would just double in danger the next year.
Doing something about the lava itself instead of the opening it comes through? No, he'd doubt even the strongest of his crewmembers would be capable of such an immense feat.
Digging a series of trenches to catch the lava and redirect it towards a safer location, such as the ocean? That might seem like a feasable plan, but you know better. Lava flows are so thick that they are hard to redirect in the same manner you'd redirect water. Besides that, an eruption has far more dangers than just the lava. The toxic gasses, boulders getting thrown all over the island, pyroclastic storms, giant mudflows called lahars, all would result from an eruption.
Which brought him back to plugging the volcano with these boulders. But that was in itself impossible for you, you'd barely get half...
He paused for a moment to rethink.
Would he get barely halfway, or exactly halfway? Or even slightly over halfway? He did some quick calculations and determined that he would get easily over halfway at this rate, but still a long shot from finishing the job. But if he'd work non-stop day and night...
Then he'd be able to finish it. If he didn't collapse from fatigue before that, but he trusted that if he wouldn't make it the rest of his crew and the old man wouldn't let the island burn. Then he would have failed, but he would have done everything humanly possible.
Strengthened at the prospect of actually being able to make it he heaved another boulder onto his back and started walking uphill again. He knew that the next couple of days would be extremely hard, but that it'd definitely be worth it at the end.

As Myra moodily followed Luke and Kiba she merely sulkly listened to the fellow divison members until they both suddenly rushed off for their own training, leaving Myra in a huff and tossing her currently damaged chakram into a nearby tree in frustration, realising she would very much be unallowed to kill anything today.
Pondering carefully on what to waste her time on instead of killing, she struggled immensely with only Zurui for company, to which she glared at constantly, happily thinking to herself on what levels of hatred there would be from Kiba if she harmed the reptile, but decided against and aimlessly ran through the forrest, before deciding on a sutiable pointless task.
She began leaping through the branches of the trees, deciding to practise avoiding detection by any animals, believing they were certainly a greater species at detection than simple old humans like herself.
She hated the task immensely but began practising nonetheless.
"I better get my chakram fixed after this. Or else!" she growled to herself, unaware she alerted a few songbirds and cursed as she re-started her training when she did.

"Dammit..." Kiba hissed as a Dotted Blueback bird stood on his shoulder and furiously pecked his head. Luckily for him, the Bluebacks weren't lethal birds, but that bird managed to detect him every time he tried reaching its nest. "This is an impossible task..." He muttered, before waving his arms furiously to scare he bird away from him. Now he'll have to start the drill all over again, for about the sixth time. No matter how concentrated he was, he didn't manage to hide himself from the Blueback's infamous ears. At least his division was doing better than him. Luke was still in the cave and Myra seemed to try a similar task to what he was attempting.

He took a deep breath as he got back up to his feet, heading for his self-determined starting point in a seventh attempt to reach the nest undetected, but unlike the previous six attempts, something odd happened. As Kiba neared Zurui and his scythes, he noticed a giant shadow covering himself and the whole forest he was training in. It was too big to be a bird, even too big to be a flock of birds, or a battalion of ships for that matter. He looked up to try and figure out what it was, but all he saw was a gigantic cloud hovering above him. It didn't seem like a normal cloud, as it produced weird sounds, as if it was a giant vacuum cleaner that sucked other clouds in. "What on earth is that thing?" He wondered as he scratched his head in confusion, but before he could find an answer, a wave of spiraling air formed around him.

"What the hell?!" He said, while the spiraling air engulfed him. "Zurui!" He shouted, ordering the chameleon to jump at him along with his scythes. A moment later, the spiraling air began rising up from he surface, carrying Kiba with it. It became so dense that it was impossible to see through it anymore, and it sucked Kiba away from the ground and towards the gigantic cloud like an octopus' tentacle. Meanwhile Zurui morphed back to his original form, covering Kiba in a cloak as he strapped the Hand Scythes to his wrists. He tried looking up to the end of the air tunnel, and managed to spot what appeared to be a stack of odd seashells. 'Dials!' He thought as he recognized the odd shells, Jet Dials to be exact, and they were all absorbing air. "Could it be...?" He wondered out loud as he was vacuumed even higher, "A Sky Island in the New World?". As a navigator, Kiba heard rumors about Sky Islands, but never visited any, especially not ones in the New World.

Sangjo sat down as the old man requested. He began to inhale lots of air into his lungs imaging growing inside him. Then a great idea came upon the pirate. He knew a great way to make his training easier...singing. Sangjo used his autotune abilities to play back his favorite song he had recorded in his throat. This would naturally strech his lungs by doing something he does everyday.

As Myra leapt along the tree tops, cursing once again as she had disturbed yet another animal from it's local wildlife business, this time a simple little squirrel, pondering if she should try to strangle the life out of it, she realized it had suddenly gotten very dark outside, though it was still firmly placed in the time know as the afternoon. She peered skywards and was still very confused.
It appeared that a large cloud that contained buildings atop of it was blocking the sun's rays, floating along blissfully unaware at the puzzled expression on Myra's face that twisted into malicious glee.
"Looks like a more fun place to practice. No idea what that thing is but if there's buildings there's people, and people are kill-able!", the psychotic assassin giggled, suddenly changing course and attempting to return to Giant Chakram she left beside Zurui and pondering on who lived on the 'cloud town' and how would they bleed.
