Appearance: The most promint feature of Oliver is his black Derby which hangs on his head. He has orange hair short hair which is covered by his hat. His eyes are yellow covered by his googles. His attire generaly looks like a victorian/steampunk style of clothing. He wears a white shirt over his gray vest with eight buttons. His shirt is tucked into his gray black stripped pants. His suspenders are strapped upon his shoulders to hold up his pants. A black evening jacket over his shirt. His shoes are black italian leather.
History: Oliver was born on shell city in the east blue. He was raised in an orphanage since he could remember since his parents declared him "unbearable". Peter, Samuel, Christopher and Oliver formed their own gang of theives stealing from unsuspecting victims by ambushing them. Each of them swore to form a pact to gain enough money so they could live as kings. Sadly only one of them would live like that. Oliver was adopted by a wealthy older man, Sis Walson the third, who didn't have a son to inherit his fortune. Oliver at first protested of being adopted and abandoning his nakama. He even fought his caretakers who tried to drag him away to Walson's mansion. The first three weeks were horribel for walson. His mansion was getting destoryed by Oliver who did everything in his power to cause destruction writing on the walls, smashing priceless heirlooms, clogging all the tiolets, and harassing the staff. Then one day Oliver received something no one ever gave him.....spanking. Walson spanked the boy until his rump turned purple. Oliver cried of course, but Walson embraced him apologizing to the boy. He claimed that his actions were because he was lonely and wanted a son to spend time with. His wife and unborn child have died more than two decades ago, and he wanted to have a chance of having a family. Despite that he had only know oliver for such a short time, walson claimed he loved him. Oliver feeling parental affection for the first time was completely taken by his speech. He decided to behave himself and become the son Walson wanted. Walson taught Oliver how to be a gentleman, and educated him in ways of proper behavior. When Oliver was 16, Walson signed over everything in his name. Oliver was now an established proper gentleman. The only problem is his friends saw him walking and mugged him. They told him he had betrayed them by becoming soft and abandoning them. Oliver realized that he has forgotten his roots. He may act like a gentleman, he may look like a gentleman, but he was not on the inside. You can take the tiger out the jungle but not jungle out the tiger. Oliver truly wanted this life, but felt like he didn't deserve it. If he was going to live like a king it would be HIS way. Oliver was taken to the hospital where he was given care by the finest of doctors. It was then when he old Walson he couldn't live a lie anymore and would be leaving at the of 18. Walson with a heavy heart accepted his son's decision. Oliver eventually left for a life at sea becoming a pirate in the Northern Winds crew. He obtained a minor bounty and also a devil fruit. Oliver was a great friend of the infamous Sangjo of that crew in their rookie days. They would constantly party upon the sea. Sangjo taught oliver how to dance, while oliver taught Sangjo who to build a tolerance to alcohol. Once sangjo left, the crew soon was disbanded.
Personality: Oliver is a rather unique personality. His most noticable trait is that he acts like a gentleman perferring manners and politeness over cruelty and rudeness. Oliver bows and greets strangers with a handshake for men and a kiss on the hand for the ladies. He never lies and is honest about answering questions or general statements. He doesn't harm women having a stern belief that man should never hit a woman. Oliver also has strict table manners claiming that just because he is a pirate doesn't mean he has to eat like one. Oliver also has another side to him. He is very subborn never admitting defeat and would even kill people who disagree with his ideas, unless the situation can't afford violence then he would deal with them later. Oliver also is a alcoholic drinking at every town he visits. He loves to go off adventuring and travel to far places. There is also a sense of charm around Oliver for he is quick to make friends(as well as enemies) on his travels no matter where they are at. Oliver also has a sadistic side believing that its the survival of the fittest in the grand line. Those who aren't strong enough to survive are only stepping stones for the chosen ones. This might be the reason why he also approves of slavery.
