(I hope the picture comes out right. I found it on ask.com, but it apparently got moved or deleted or something so I don't have the really blown up version of it. I'll have to think of something else if this doesn't work.)

Spoiler:

History: Jade is not exactly sure where she was born. She was raised by her grandmother on Domino Island. Her grandmother told her stories of where she was born, but Jade didn’t really believe them. According to her grandmother, she was a fey, a magical creature, and she was born in a community of these creatures. For some reason the Jade’s parents had to give her up and they gave her to her grandmother, who wasn’t really her grandmother. Now she was living in the human world and would be for the rest of her life. It was a crazy story, but Jade played along with her grandmother. Jade knew she had oddly shaped ears, but she didn’t think this made her qualify as a completely different species. Even so, Jade also had learned that she had special…talents. People were generally kind to her and paid her a lot of attention, even more then her grandmother, who was the sweetest person on earth, at least she was in Jade’s opinion. Animals adored Jade and she had even once approached a bear and rubbed its belly. It had growled at her, but the growl seemed to be one of pleasure.

As Jade grew older, her grandmother became very sick. In fact, Jade spent one night trying to care for her grandmother, but she really didn’t know what to do. In the end, it looked like her grandmother was going to die. Then Jade placed her hands on her grandmother’s hands and she began to cry. As she cried, Jade felt a strange heat rising up in her. The heat seemed to pass from her into her grandmother and some color returned to her grandmother’s face. Jade got to see the shocked expression on her grandmother’s face for a brief moment before she passed out. A few days later, Jade woke up to find herself lying in her bed and her grandmother was well again. Jade wondered how this could have happened. Her grandmother explained it to her. As a fey, Jade had the ability to push energy into anther person. Any energy she gave away came from her own reserves and this would wear her out, but by doing this she could accelerate another person’s body and help them heal or regain their strength. It was by no means perfect, but it had given Jade’s grandmother the strength she needed to drive away the sickness. Unfortunately, the combination of using that power and staying up all night had driven Jade into a three day coma.

Several years passed and Jade’s grandmother was growing weaker. Jade offered to use her ability to revitalize her grandmother, but her grandmother refused saying the affects of Jade’s ability would barely last a day anyhow. It was simply that she was growing old and her own strength was fading. Now Jade was taking over many of her grandmother’s responsibilities. She learned to cook and clean. Her grandmother taught her basic first aid and how to haggle with the village merchants. One day when Jade was out shopping, as she was on her way home she saw a young boy lying on the road. His eyes were closed and he was bleeding badly. Jade checked first to see if he was still alive and when she had confirmed that much she left her groceries beside the boy and ran home to get the first aid kit. She returned and began working on the boy, cleaning, disinfecting, and then bandaging his wound. When she was almost finished doing this, the boy’s eyes snapped open and he reached up and grabbed her wrist, holding one of her arms back. His expression was one of terror and Jade’s heart softened towards the boy. She told him everything would be alright and almost immediately he settled back down. Jade ended up dragging the boy back to her home by herself. Fortunately it wasn’t far and soon she had him lying in her bed and she was doing her best to fix his wounds. After everything else was finished, Jade used a little bit of power to accelerate the boy’s healing and then she sat down in a chair next to the bed and fell asleep.

A few hours later, the boy woke up. He was at first surprised to find himself in that place, but he forced himself to be calm and saw the girl sitting next to his bed. She was the most beautiful creature he had ever seen and for a brief moment he wondered if he was in heaven. Then he realized that he was still hurting and his chest and back were all bandaged up. The boy tried to get out of the bed, but the pain of his wounds forced him back down. The girl woke up and scolded him for trying to get up so soon. She introduced herself as Jade and the boy told her his name: Terra. The two talked for a while with Terra avoiding questions pertaining to how he got his wounds and Jade fighting him for answers every step of the way. Then Jade’s grandmother returned. She had been visiting some friends and wasn’t happy to find her granddaughter at home alone with a stranger. Not only that, but she could see something in the boy that Jade had not. Both Terra and Jade’s grandmother agreed that it was time for him to go so Terra left the house, thanking Jade and ignoring her protests about how he needed to rest himself further.

A few hours later, things were settling down in the household again. Jade had been asking her grandmother almost constantly why she had driven the boy away, but had been given no answers. Jade had finally gone to her room. Then she heard a knocking sound coming from the front door. She heard her grandmother answering the door and then a moment later she heard the sharp report of a pistol. Jade ran into the front room to find her grandmother on the ground, dead. There were five men in the doorway. When they saw Jade they came into the house and moved towards her, but before they could get much farther, two knifes came flying, seemingly out of nowhere. They struck down two of the men. Then came Terra in their wake, hacking and slashing with a cutlass he had acquired. He cut down the other three men with almost total ease. Jade had gone to her grandmother by this point and was trying to bring her back, but she could not force her power to go into a dead body. It was too late. At first, Terra apologized, saying this was all his fault. He told her if he had not been in her house these men would not have come and her grandmother would not be dead. Terra started to leave, but Jade stopped him. She told him that if he was truly to blame then the least he could do is take her along with him. After all, she had nowhere else to go. Terra started to protest, but then he saw her logic and he told her that if she came with him she would constantly be in danger. He was not a good person to know. Jade agreed to these terms readily and with no regrets. Seeing her determination, Terra took her with him to a ship he had on the island. The two of them set sail together. They were only sixteen when their journeys began.

Soon after they started out, Terra explained his past. His family had been a poor one. They were practically slaves on the island he came from. His father had at long last managed to get enough money together and sent Terra away to live on another island. He had been fourteen when he set out. At first he had been apprenticed to a carpenter, but he lost his job when he was accused of stealing. Terra had been almost sent to jail, but he escaped from the authorities and set out to make a new life for himself. He became an assassin who didn’t care who his target was, whether it was a Marine or a World Noble. His fame quickly grew and he got a bounty. Not long after that Terra was being pursued by government officials for the assassination of not just one, but two World Nobles. Actually, Terra had been in the pay of one of the nobles. He was supposed to kill the other one, but after the job had been completed his employer was going to go back on their deal and just have Terra killed. Terra instead killed him and his guards and was forced to flee. Then he had ended up on Jade’s island and gotten into a battle with the government officials. Terra was hurt in the fight and that was when Jade had found him.

At long last, Terra came to the end of his tale. Jade simply stared at him in horror for a few moments and Terra offered for her to leave. Jade considered this at first, but then she asked him if he would hurt her. Terra told her he would not. He said that he never killed a target who wasn’t a criminal, although he would still kill targets if they were criminals but were called something else, as in the case of the World Nobles. So Jade once again decided to stay. The two of them traveled to many islands together. Soon after they began traveling together, they found a bounty poster for Jade. Apparently one of the men who Terra had thought he killed had actually survived and told the World Government about Jade and how Terra had protected her. So it was believed that Jade was Terra’s accomplice. Both Terra and Jade had a good laugh at that. As time went on, Jade and Terra grew closer. It is almost a romantic relationship, though neither of them have really tried to make it as such.

Personalities

Jade: Jade is a sweet girl. Everyone who knows her pretty much falls in love with her in the first few minutes of talking to her. Jade is a caring person who is very likely help everyone she meets, even they might be an enemy.

Terra: Terra is very much the opposite of Jade. He is cold and calculating. He mostly ignores the suffering of others, but will help them when it is convenient to him. The only person around whom he lets down his guard is Jade. The truth is, he’s in love with her, but she doesn’t know it. Yet. And he’s kind of a wimp when it comes to expressing his feelings.

Ship: Free Spirit: A small ship. It has a cabin with a bunk bed inside beneath its deck, but other then that it has one large sail and a wheel to turn the vessel. There are no cannons.

Ship Flag: Two skulls, back to back with a cutlass lying upside down in front of each of the skulls.

Devil Fruit: Neither of them have a devil fruit.

Special Abilities

Jade:

Emotion Control: Jade has the ability to change the emotions of both animals and humans. While animals and people are in her presence, she can make them hate each other, love her and so forth. This ability is not quite mind control as someone who is sentient can still make their own choices rather then let themselves be controlled. On the other hand, animals, which usually act on instinct alone, could be controlled by this if it used properly.

Energizing: Jade has the power to pour her own stores of energy into other people. This not only rejuvenates the person, but it can also speed up their healing processes, but not so much that you can see them healing before your very eyes. It still takes time. Unfortunately, doing this weakens Jade greatly since she is using up her own energy.

Terra:

Speed: Terra has above average speed.

Acrobat: Terra is a very acrobatic person. He can scramble up roofs in seconds or perform flips with minimum effort.

Strength: Terra is no beast when it comes to strength, but he is stronger than he looks.

Learned Techniques

Jade: N/A

Terra:

Air Bullet: Terra jabs at his opponent with his cutlass and sends a powerful ball of wind racing towards them. If the wind strikes his opponent then it would simply throw them back without causing any major damage.

Leopard Pounce: Terra holds his sword at his side and then shoots past his opponent(s) and cuts them with his blade as he goes.

Weapons/Items

Jade: A cutlass and a flute.

Terra: A cutlass and two knives.

Goals

Jade: To survive.

Terra: To protect Jade with his life.

Okay, I managed to get a better picture in there. For all you Aurora Pirates, this is sort of a sneak peek of things to come. These two will be showing up later.
