okay so basically this poses the question what edged or blunt weapons (meaning instantly no gunpowder, bullets cannons ect) would you use given a fight for survival, some ground rules: -you are a master of your weapons but by no means pirfect or super human (for example you can hit the bulls eye of the target with a bow and arrow but not 100% of the time and human flaws/logic/error apply) -We will be using the "deadliest warrior" format for this meaning everyone chooses (or invents) weapons of each category and the various edges each weapon has over another determines the winner -this is just you, so any siege weapons would probably be out right and you would have to reload things yourself -for this expresses assume you have enugh ammunition for appropriate weapons to last the battle but not instantaneous reloading time -Armor slows your movement, for example a foil with a full european suit of armor would be impractical as you would be to heavy to deliver swift or precise strikes, with that in mind it is best to chose your defense equipment wisely as it could prove to be more trouble than its worth

Name: Major Sarcasm Melee weapon: arming sword Mid-ranged weapon: javelin Ranged weapon: repeating crossbow (bolts dipped in poison) Special weapon: bizantine grenade (a ceramic jar with greek fire and caltrops) Defense: kite shield.
