Body: He is about 6'4 weighing about 200 pounds with a slightly higher build than the average man. By no means a body builder his muscular frame shows he is by no means a pushover. His arms are semi muscular when in a relaxed state, but can be quickly enlarged when flexed. His chest is tight showing progress of abs. His legs are probably the smallest things on his body disproportioned from the rest of his limps, because of his lack of interest of lower body strength. His lower extremities are by no means abnormal, but it clearly shows he doesn't work on em as he should. He has bright slightly tanned skin color from working outside on deck in the sun. He wears a brown opened chest fur vest on his back. His slash acts as a belt for his cotton brown pants.
Face: Saul has a hard face from the harsh conditions of the sea giving him a salty gruff appearance. He has a few wrinkles around the eyes from the sleepy-less night on watch. Though lacking a beard, Saul has grown a think prominent mustache that connects to his side burns. He has a golden ring on his left eyebrow. He has a on his right cheek from a previous wound.
Hair: Saul has a buzzcut salt and pepper hair style because his hair is shortening due to premature balding. He has thick muttonchops that goes from his head over his lips to his mustache, because he has no beard. His arms are slightly hairs. Saul also has a "grizzly bear" hairy chest.
Non visual information: Saul has a brutish hoarsy voice developed from yelling orders back in the marine days. He smells of salt, and a faint scent butter. Overall because of his smell,he would practically tastes like a stale popcorn.

Clothing: Saul wears a white tricorn hat with gold linings around the edges. Because he was discharged, Saul couldn't wear the military colors. He had his uniform modified omitting the marines logo out of his white officer jacket. The jacket includes with a red collar and cuffs. He wears a white t-shirt underneath the jacket. A red slash acts a belt holding up his worn black pants. The only thing he was allowed to keep was his marines issued boots.

Personality Overview: Saul is a man with two major problems in his life. His black and white point of view, and inability to control his behavior has caused him to become a complex character. On one side he is a good nature sociable man, but on the other he has this uncontrollable rage that sometimes borders on the psychotic. Saul wants to change the world to bring happiness and peace, but fails to see his own inner demons that needs changing. His one sided point of view makes him blind to any other thing besides his objective making him highly arrogant and stubborn. He doesn't see any point of view unless it sides with his own. Saul has a great love for fairness and justice. He holds his principles to high regard, and would die to protect these values. Despite these flaws, Saul is a nice enough guy once he trusts someone. His trust is hard to gain, but those who make a good enough impression become like brethren to him. He can for the most part be very passive enjoying to travel from place to place.Depending on the situation, he is not above even playing sports with the locals. Saul is very competitive and doesn't like to lose. He has been known to lose his composure and go overboard while playing.
Likes, Dislikes, Hopes and Fears: Saul's favorite thing to do is wrestle. He loves it because it embodies strength and fair play. Saul takes on any challenger despite any stature or status. When fists don't satisfy then saul withdraws his blade. If the duel is just for skill Saul loves to test his swordsmanship against fledglings. There isn't physical challenge Saul doesn't like to participate. However he can become a sore loser when things don't go his way. He constantly accuses people of cheating if they win too much. Then afterwards he would attempt to fight them until he deems them punished for their trickery. Saul considers himself the very pinnacle of honor and heroism with insurmountable fairness and incorruptible sense of justice. Despite his questionable morals, Saul doesn't tolerate any form of justice. He won't be intimidated or easily manipulated from the sins of man. Saul would even go against the marines, and despites the government's tolerance for pirates.

Origins: Saul was born on May 16, in the east blue. His father was a sailor, and his mother was an housewife. Born in humble beginnings, Saul dreamed of having a life of fame of adventure as a kid. As a young child he was always wanted to hear stories of heroism whether it be the knight, masked vigilante, or marine. Despite his interest in justice and hero, Saul had violent tendencies. When going to school, Saul would regularly beat up bullies of other children. Sometimes he would attempt to beat up the teachers who mocked their students. This only gotten worse as he grew for he would attempt to fight anything he saw unjust from At the age of 9, Saul would regularly skip school to hang out at the local tavern listening to sailors and marines talk of their travels. His behavior forced his parents to send him to military school to teach him disciple. Roughly three year later(he had to repeat the school a couple of times), Saul came back changed. Now he was able to harness his energy positively by completing steps to obtain his goals of becoming an officer.
Adolescence/young adult: At the age of 14, Saul was pretty much a regular teenager. He went to school, made a few friends, and even went on dates. He grew instantly interested with sports especially wrestling which he could use his aggressive nature to use. While well mannered and polite to people, he was brutal in the ring to the point of being feral. There were a few who could beat the young man, but none who came out without something fractured sometimes broken. People wondered how could such a model young man become such a beast suddenly. Saul would always return back to normal outside the ring where people cautiously approach him. At the age of 17, he won the world junior champion belt defeating over 100 opponents with 25 losses. He graduated school at the age of 19. Saul then came into the workforce as the local police officer as he always dreamed. Things were pretty normal for the next couple of years. Saul developed good relations with the public. He was engaged to Julia, the local baker. Then at the age of 24, Saul faced his first real danger. A group of pirates attacked the village pillaging it of it riches. The police put up a noble effort against the pirates but their ships' cannons made building a defense impossible. Saul did the only thing he could do. GO ON A RAMPAGE. Saul withdrew his sword and slaughtered his attackers without mercy. The pirates quickly took notice of madman. Saul had killed five of the pirates without getting hit once. Ten of them surrounded him to attack him all at once. Still Saul fought on trying to rally the police to fight to the death. However the cheif of police ordered a retreat. The mayor had come to a agreement to the pirates(via den den mushi) to allow them to raze the village in return for no retaliation. Saul, blooded and beaten, was being forced to surrender. He couldn't allow his honor to be soiled by cowardice. If these people were too scared to fight then we would carry on for them. Saul tried to continue to fight, but his body was too beaten up. The pirates didn't even allow him a gallant fight. They instead shot him in a hail of bullets until he fell to the ground. Saul would survive but never the same....
Adult: Saul was hospitalized a couple of years before fully recovering. Though praised as a hero for his efforts, Saul decided to resign from the police force. His belief of justice had become jaded that the bad guys got away. He had always believed that evil was always defeated, and could the righteous prevailed. The truth however was that whether just or guilty, only power mattered in this world. He began to join fight clubs at night. His excuse was to make money for his marriage to Julia, but in truth he only wanted to become stronger. No matter how many opponents he defeated he always wanted to improve himself. Julia and his family became worried about his destructive behavior. Saul knew he would never improve while in this peaceful town.
Marine: He joined the marines three years later. Julia and he moved to Shells Town, where he was trained as a marine recruit. The marines proved perfect for him where he could become stronger in the large world that was the east blue. He honed his swordsmen skills and refined his anger into better battle tactical prowess. He worked himself up to marine captain where he got his own ship and crew. He married Julia soon afterwards with a stable career. Their marriage was enjoyable while it lasted, but Saul's career always came first in his priorities. It wasn't that he didn't love her, but his unwavering sense of duty slowly drew them apart. Then they separated only after two years of marriage. Julia promised to wait for him, until he got his life straighten out. Saul didn't take this separation well, and took out his frustration on every criminal they crossed.
Dismissal: He got his name "The Judge" from holding mock trails upon the ship where his subordinates played witnesses, jury, and he played as the judge. Then Saul would declare them guilty before executing them. This however didn't go over well with his superiors who frowned on vigilantism . Saul was dishonorable discharged without pension. Now with little money and no job. Saul decided to become a sellsword. Now he was truly free to become the hero he wanted, and distribute justice as he pleased.
