Name: J.W. Dukes (J stands for Jerome, and W stands for Wes)

Age: 16

Bounty: 0 beli

Species: Human

Occupation: mediocre blacksmith, but much better fighter

Allegiance: Pirate

Home Village/Ocean: West Blue

Appearance: standing at around 6’2” he is a fairly tall teenager, along with his height he has a good solid frame he has muscles that are more developed than most kids his age. He has dirty blond hair, lightning blue eyes and very pale skin. 99% of the time you will see Jerome with an white undershirt, cacky shorts, and black mid-cut boots.

History: Grew up in a strong marine oriented family, who always sought out the good and justice in life. When he was just 6 years old he heard about the cipher pol.9 section of the government, interested in what its duties were he talked to his father who was then a CP9 member. Intrigued by what his father told him he told his father his dream was to become the strongest Marine the world has ever seen, when his father heard this, his father said “one man does not become strong without the help from others.” When Jerome was 10 his father had retired from being a Marine and decided to become a blacksmith, Jerome asked his father if he could train him to be ahead of all the recruits when he decided to join the marines, his father against his better judgment taught his son rokushiki. It took Jerome two years of intense training to get the basics down.

At the age of 12 Jerome and his father were living a normal life, until one day his father starts to talk to him about what he did in the marines. he told Jerome where he went and what he did, not all of it was as glorious as he thought his father was but he understood that they were orders. that night his father fell asleep and Jerome decided to go into his fathers study and see what he could find about the places he'd been. He was excited until he found things like bounties for his father and a book on the devil fruits. While looking through the room he finally finds what he was looking for, maps that his father had drawn himself, there were maps of the oceans besides the west, and then there was the one Jerome was actually interested in. a map of the grand line, on the map there was a written note saying "don't let your drive for one piece die" Jerome knew that only pirates went after one piece so he started to put the two and two together an was shocked to know that his dad was once a pirate. A couple days passed and there was a knock on the door, Jerome answered it and there were about 20 marines, Jerome's father put his hands up and told his son that he was a pirate before joining the marines and said he lied to everyone just to become a cipher pol member; because of this his father was sentenced to execution, before he was executed his father told him about a place he visited up in the sky when he was a pirate. After the execution Jerome finds himself taken in by his fathers’ good friend, Sato, he told Jerome that his father gave him a treasure to give to him if anything was to happen, it was a devil fruit.

His father had seen his future by a priest in skypeia, so he set out to find the only devil fruit that existed in skypeia the eikyo eikyo no mi. He found it and hid it from his crewmates, Sato found out about it on accident, but Jerome’s father had nothing to hide from his closest nakama. After two long years after coming back from skypeia, Jerome’s father gave Sato the fruit and told him about the priest and what he saw. As Sato’s story ended Jerome asks what were they doing up in skypeia, and Sato replied with “we were Pirates.”
When Jerome turned 15 he decided to eat the devil fruit, as Sato said “you want to walk in your father’s footsteps?” Jerome replied said yea but I want to end my life as a pirate with dignity not being falsely executed because of the World Government’s mess. At the age of 16 Jerome parts ways with Sato and becomes a pirate….

Personality: for the most part Jerome is really laid back, always laughing, but can get irritated really easily if someone annoying is in his presence. Every chance Jerome gets to talk to ladies and sometimes act exactly like a hormonal teenager. When he is around his friends he will always be laughing, always protect them no matter what, and will never doubt them. Along with being a hormonal teenager he can also be very gullible this can make him look like a complete idiot. His favorite things to do is explore new places, testing his strength, talking to women, and just being with his nakama.

Ship: Big impact

Ship Flag: jolly roger with two dark gray sword and a mushroom cloud behind both the jolly roger and the swords

Devil Fruit: Eikyo Eikyo no mi (impact impact fruit)
type: Paramecia
effect: check out devil fruit sign up.

Special Abilities:
above average strength because of the harsh training of rokushiki and his work out habits.
High level reflexes because of his dads training regimens

Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):
1- Impact absorb: absorb the kinetic energy of any physical attack by turning it into potential energy in his body.
2- Impact wave: has to be either touching the opponent or 2-3 inches away to be effective, the user pushes so much kinetic energy into the opponents body that the muscles will start to rip/tear because of the stress that is put upon them. (because everybody’s muscles do not react to high kinetic energy similar to pistons like a impact fruit users)
3- Impact bazooka: hitting the opponent he can project kinetic energy at high speeds from both hands.
4- Big bang impact: since Jerome can release energy from three points on his body at maximum power, he jumps in the air and releases kinetic energy with enough pressure to shatter boulders from his feet and both of his hands and can aim them in up to three different directions.
5- Impact right/ left: a punch aided with an immense amount of kinetic energy, can break bones easily with this.
6- Impact chain-gun: kicks 20-30 times with each foot aided with small but powerful amounts of extra kinetic energy
Rokushiki
1- Shigun
2- Tekkai- Jerome still becomes an iron mass but can also repel attacks that he knows would hurt even with tekkai in effect, so he releases kinetic energy right before he is about to get hit to slow down the attack.
3- Geppou- this can be aided with kinetic energy and is called impact geppou
4- soru

Weapons/Items: none

Goals: wants to go as far as he can by the help of his nakama, while also helping them go as far as they can.

In the allegiance section, you should have whichever faction you're affiliated with. Marine, pirate, revolutionary, or bounty hunter and the like. With Jerome, looks like you intend to have him be a pirate, so I'd stick that there.

I don't think that people, particularly average marines, could "stumble" onto written files about the Void Century. It's specifically called the Void century, because it's a literal gap in their historical records. Poneglyphs are the only things left that have any information about it, and even attempting to decipher them would be a crime. Because of that, it doesn't make a whole lot of sense that the marine father would know anything about that, either.

Elaborate on the amount of strength he has. Most One Piece characters have super human strength, so simply using a term like that doesn't define a whole lot. Keep in mind that the character also uses soru, which is super human speed to begin with, so be reasonable about it. Also, how does the opponent's body "brake down" in Impact Wave? Add a bit more to that as well, please.

I have no idea what the Star Wars Force Unleashed series is. Could you please explain the move so people that don't understand the reference know how the move works? I'd also suggest removing the reference to Luffy.

Besides those nitpicks, great job on your first sheet. He sounds like an interesting character Very Happy

Mkay, it's looking better now that the whole Poneglyph subplot was removed.
