Ti'ar yanked the chain back, attempting to sidestep the punch and getting nicked. "Geh." He whipped the chain around, drawing it in a circle around Seth's wrist, intending to break it.

Jericho grabbed Devons head and threw him to the back to get hit by the girls shigan. He then kicked the boy into his twin to send them back. He took out his rifle and aimed.

((I just realized that I forgot Martello earlier. Oh well.))

Seth pulled his hand back and thrust forward with his sword, aiming at Ti'ar's face.

Debra managed to stop her Shigan before she hurt her brother, but neither of them was prepared for Jericho's kick, which sent the twins sprawling. They both leaped back to their feet to find themselves facing a gun barrel.

Irina knew she was outmatched in this current fight so she turned and ran off towards an alleyway. Meanwhile William shivered as he realized just how truly powerful Martello was. He quickly slung his gun over his shoulder and was gone. If Irina survived the fight, she would undoubtedly kill him later, but that didn't mean he was going to risk his neck now.

Ken spotted a bandit heading into a building and he followed him in. The bandit led Ken through the building and out the back, where Ken saw a small building. The bandit was going inside the building, but there was nothing Ken could do about it so he let him go. Instead, the bug wielder sneaked over to the side of the building and peeked in through a window. Inside were two bandits and a man who was wearing a tan, short-sleeved shirt and brown pants. At his side were several metal discs.

'Chakram!' Ken realized. He figured that this man was a bandit as well since the two bandits were simply talking to him in a conversational tone. None of them looked ready to fight. Ken scanned the rest of the room and spotted two small children sitting in the corner. One was a boy and the other was a girl. The children seemed out of place as they were both dirty and their clothes were torn, but they didn't look afraid of the three men standing around them. The bandit's voices filtered through the window as Ken crouched there.

"Is Irina fighting yet?" one of the bandits asked.

"Obviously," the man with the chakram rolled his eyes and leaned against the wall behind him, with his arms folded across his chest. "Otherwise we wouldn't be here."

"So these are her kids?" the other of the two bandits asked. "I've only heard rumors of them. Did they really eat a devil fruit?"

"Technically that's classified information, but yeah," Brett said. "Not that it really matters. Practically everyone back at the base knows about it."

'Devil fruit?' Ken frowned. He wanted to find out more, but he didn't want to endanger the children. Since he was distracted, Ken didn't notice the chakram whip through the window, sending glass flying down on him. He jumped back, but the damage was already done. Dozens of small cuts covered Ken's body.

"Anyway," Brett continued. He had moved away from the wall and was approaching the window. "Why don't you come out of hiding, rat."

Martello was using geppou and looking down. Bart was obviously out of it completely ,Martello saw both of them running away. Should he chase them or stay here? To Martello it didnt really matter. they could run for all he cared.... he would deal with them accordingly soon depending on the situation.

Jericho fired his rifle right at Debra and Devon, aiming to blow their heads clean off.

((Sort of...William ran away. Irina...well, that's a secret. You know, Jericho's battle isn't going to get very far at this rate. I'm not going to just let the twins get beat, but I don't see how Jericho can defeat them. Maybe I should have let Ti'ar join the battle. To late now.))

Debra and Devon dodged again with a soru. Devon reappeared in front of Jericho, balanced on one hand, and he spun on that hand, aiming to kick Jericho in the gut. Debra reappeared over Jericho, face-down. She threw a punch at his face.

Ken responded not with words, but with a swarm of bugs. He dodged back from the window as two more chakram sped by. The bugs Ken released flew into the small building and he soon heard shouts of pain and disgust. A moment later, all three men burst out of the door, trying unsuccessfully to fend off the insects. Brett saw Ken and sent another two chakram at him, but he was so distracted that they flew completely off course. Ken used this opportunity to fire his swords at the other two bandits. They saw the swords coming and jumped away up, swinging themselves up onto the roof of a nearby building. The swords shot back and Ken caught them in his hands. Meanwhile, Brett managed to get ahead of the insect swarm and ran around to Ken's left. He sent three more chakram spinning towards Ken, who didn't notice them in time. Two the chakram embedded themselves in Ken's side and the third sliced through the side of his cloak, but fortunately did not break skin. Unfortunately this was still enough to make Ken gasp with pain and fall to his knees.

Ti'ar ducked, bringing up his chain to try to catch the sword in it's links, and then disarm him.

((Jericho in red eye mode, is really crazy,simple martial arts like rokushiki will not work. How to explain it.... its like he rages and goes absolutely crazy, he uses instinct and violence he can win, its too simple for him.))

Jericho stabbed his machete through Devons leg which was coming to kick him, sticking the sword into the ground as well. He kept Devons leg and then he threwhis rifle away and grabbed Debras hand and headbutted her to the ground. His face full of blood "HAHHAHAHAHAAHAAHHAHAHAHHAHHAAHA DELICIOUS!!!!!!"

Devon didn't have time to dodge and took the sword through his leg. Debra, on the other hand, managed to use a Tekkai as Jericho headbutted her. She heard her brother cry out in pain and she looked up, wide eyed, to see that his leg was completely pierced through by the sword.

"DEVON!" she screamed and she dove down towards him.

Seth heard the scream, but he didn't turn from his battle. He did, however, reach down with his gloved hand and grabbed a second sword. He released his grip on the sword that was being wrapped in the chain and he raised his third sword above his head, flipping it so that it was aiming point first at the ground. "IMPACT DEVASTATION!" he roared as he brought the sword down into the ground. The power in the impact dial in Seth's glove raced down the blade of his sword, which had broke a small hole in the ground where it had landed. The power hit the ground and exploded outward, causing the ground around Ti'ar to shatter. The ground would then go the only way it could go, which was upward, but Seth didn't stick around to see the result. He turned and ran towards Jericho. As he did, he reached over and ripped a chuck of concrete from the building next to him and he threw it at Jericho's head.

Brett stopped where he was and grinned, spinning another chakram on his forefinger. "So, ready to talk?" he said. Ken virtually exploded as the remaining piranha beetles shot out from under his cloak and rushed towards Brett. "I'll take that as a no," Brett said.

Brett jumped and swung himself up next to his allies. He conferred with them for a moment, but all three sprang away as the insects nearly caught them. The two other bandits dashed towards Ken, drawing their knives. They stabbed at Ken, but he blocked their strikes with his swords. A moment later his insects were upon them and the bandits dropped to the ground screaming. Ken was about to finish them off when four chakram embedded themselves in his back. Ken dropped to his knees and found another chakram at his throat.

"Call them off," it was Brett's voice. "Don't worry, I won't kill you yet. I have a few questions for you."

Ken wasn't sure what to do, but he knew dying wasn't an option. He called out to the beetles through the queen on his back and they all, reluctantly, swarmed back under his cloak.

"Rear Admiral Martello...."
The voice was soft, but also cold. The man it belonged to sat far away from the fight, a spyglass in his hands. Right now, something interesting had caught his eyes... or eye, since he could only see on one.
Too bad he had already send Jaques to take care of the other one, or he would have reconsidered... No, he probably wouldn't have, but still.
Rear admiral Martello Young was known as very violent... Having him on his bad side would spice things up a little.
The Gambler put the spyglass down and wondered if Young knew about him. Probably not. A Marine below Admiral rank wouldn't know.. or would he?
He leaned back and watched the sun, thinking about Young and the one he had sent Jaques to. Oh, what fun he could have with them...

Jaques was in its human form, even though it highly suspected that the girl would see through it.
To tell the truth, it was a little nervous. Sure, it had seen experiments before, its master brought things to live on a weekly, sometimes daily basis.
But this was the first time it actually saw an experiment brought to live by someone else...
She's... cute...
It thought, for lack of a better word, and could hear its masters laugh in its ear. Of course... he was reading its brainwaves again. It had to be carefull about what it thought.
"Now isn't that heartwarming! Jaques, if I hadn't build you without any sexdrive or capability to love a human being, I'd say you have a crush! Then again... She's not human, right? Does it count as pedophilia if she's not human? I hope it does! She is twelve, you know..."
In its thoughts, Jaques desperately denied ever having thought anything about her being cute.
"Getting all nervous, are you? Well, stop lazing around just watching. Go do your job, Romeo."
Jaques had to follow its masters orders.
It took a step towards her, now standning a few steps behind her.
"Are you Fran?"

Jericho then grabbed Debras hair and threw her towards the hurling concrete and then dashed out of the way of the hurling concrete heading towards him thanks to the new bandit. Jericho was covered in blood now, but still very insane. For some time now he had planned to take his machete and cut off both children's heads.

Debra simply used a Tekkai to stop herself from being smashed by the concrete and so she ended up landing near Seth, who stopped and looked at her.

"Debra, go get Devon," Seth said. "Get him out of here. I'll stop them here."

Debra nodded. "Right," she said. "Be careful." Then with a soru she jumped to her brother and with a second soru she was gone with him. Seth waited for the oncoming Jericho. As he did, he punched the wall next to him with his impact glove to give it power once again.

Ti'ar flung his chain out at the ground rapidly, smashing as many rocks as he could to bits. However, he missed one that smashed into his face. He was knocked down from the force, but he managed to return to his feet. He took his chain in hand, and flung his chain at Seth's ankle, his foolishness opening a window of attack.

Seth felt something touch his leg and out of pure instinct spun around to slam his sword down on it. It was a chain and the sword shot down into one of its links to stop it. Unfortunately for Seth, his sword had also been greatly damaged by the attack he had preformed through it and it simply shattered from the little strength he had put in the swing. Seth didn't waste any time throwing the sword away and punching the chain with his gloved fist, releasing the impact straight into the chain, shattering the links near Seth. He jumped back, drawing his final sword. He knew he was outmatched and that with only one blade left, he was in trouble, but his resolved strengthened as he faced his two opponents.

Ken was slammed against the floor of the small building. His hands had been tied with a rope. Already three of the piranha beetles were secretly chewing on his bonds. The two children, who had not moved from their original position that Ken had seen them in, looked at him quizzically, but didn't say anything. The two bandits sat down near Ken, their knives at the ready to stab him if he fought back. Brett walked back into the building, he had been collecting his chakram one of which was currently spinning on his finger.

"So, you're a devil fruit user," Brett said. "I know how to deal with those." He grinned wickedly and produced a choker from his back pocket.

"Don't," Ken said. "That's seastone, isn't it? You do realize that the insects are only under my control due to my power, don't you? If you put that on me we're all in danger." It was true, but at the same time Ken was more worried about himself. The piranha beetles could eat a man's arm down to the bone before getting full and since they were sitting right on his skin, Ken knew he would be the first to be bitten.

Brett looked annoyed, but shrugged. "Okay, whatever, but send those things outside," he said. "If they come after us now or if any of them try to come back in, you're dead."

Ken nodded and sent all of his piranha beetles except the queen and the three, which were eating his bonds, outside.

Brett waited a second and then sighed saying, "Send the rest of them as well."

Ken smiled. "I see you don't trust me," he said. "Very well." The three last worker beetles flew off of his bonds and went outside. Now all Ken had was the queen and although he didn't like to put her in danger, this was an emergency. So, slowly, she began to make her way down Ken's back towards the ropes below.

Brett frowned. "You idiots shouldn't have tied his hands behind his back," he said. "I still don't want to take any chances so fix it."

The other two bandits complied, grabbing Ken and forcing his hands under him to bring them in front of him. Ken continued smiling, but inwardly he was ranting and raving about the many ways he was going to kill Brett. It never helped to have a smart guard.

Jericho was about to go mental when from behind came Jessop , with one knock on Jerichos neck, sending Jericho completely out cold. Jessop just grunted not saying anything as he looked foward. He just had his giant twin axes out. The big Jessop was just now protecting Jericho.

Meanwhile in a distance. Martello sighed "Well time to bring an end to all this...... ill have to sink this town............."

Ti'ar laughed, whipping the broken chain back to him. It was broken, but it was still useful. He whipped it for Seth's armed wrist, attempting to disarm him.

Seth saw the chain coming and turned to face Ti'ar. He swung his sword down so that the chain was aimed at the blade and then he struck out with it, knocking the chain aside. Seth backed up to the wall and punched it with all his might with his Impact Glove to build up more power. So, one of his two opponent's was down and a new contender had arrived. He wasn't to enthusiastic about that since a fresh opponent was always better then a insane maniac like that last one. Although, he had been shocked to see Debra and Devon fall so maybe the crazy man wasn't so weak after all. Seth ran at full speed towards Ti'ar, holding his sword at the ready to slash anything that came at him.

Fran suddenly looked up and turned around, someone was talking to her. She glanced in the direction of the voice, and saw a young man standing in front of her. She studied his appearance. It seemed like it was the perfect body, and very healthy. It was almost too ideal, seeming like it was some sort of plastic surgery or illusion. It was very possible that it was a fake body, because she wasn't the only medical genius in the world. Then again, she shouldn't be jumping to conclusions like that. It was very possible that it was just a normal healthy human.
She answered his question, with a rather cautious, but also polite tone, "Yes, I am Fran. Fran Mist." She saw a glint of recognition in his eyes, looking at the stitches all over her body. Some of them were due to her original creation, where most of them where simply due to her own tests on herself. His eyes showed signs like he was used to experiments like this... "What's your name?" She responded. Normally she wasn't friendly with people, but she felt like they had something in common.

Jaques bowed slightly, not taking its eyes of her and never stopping to smile his empty smile.
"Call me Jaques. Everyone does."
Its true name, it didn't know. The bodys name, the experiments name, the monsters name, or Jaques... It had a lot of names. Jaques was only the one it preferred.
When it was standing straight again, it started looking her up and down, examining the stitches over her body.
Not (only) because it had a personal interest in her, but because...
"Yes, definitely. Bring her." said its masters voice in its ears.
"I'm sorry, Fran." It said, truly meaning the words.
"But you'll have to come with me, even if I have to make you."
It didn't have a choice here. It had to obey the master, this or that way.

Martello now landed on the ground, he walked to where Jericho and Jessop was , and saw Jericho knocked out on the ground. Martello sighed "Luckily Jessop stopped him...... that guy, if i let him get more violent, he would kill everyone in site..... just like Santa Goret, where he massacred that entire village........." Martello now was watching Ti'ar facing some bandit. "Need help Ti'ar? because, im thinking of sinking this town.........."

Fran kind of laughed to herself, was this guy insane? "I have no reason to come with you..." She inquired, "and if you think you can make me, go ahead, try it" She wasn't even the slightest bit worried. As far as she noticed, he was unarmed, where she had a set of super powered scalpels, 6 arms, and a knack for fighting.
She sat down, and went back to what she was doing, ignoring the man entirely. She was working on a little side project, trying to put the limbs of the man she had just killed to use. "Ta-Da!" she shouted, holding up a strange thing. It was a hand, with an eye attached to it. She had compressed the brain, the frontal lobe, parietal lobe, temperal lobe, and occipital lobe, into a small mini brain, and attached the untouched eye to it. The hand was rather simple to connect the nervous system to the brain, and it could only perform very simple commands. She had to remove the memory to fit the hand, and all the creature could do was register touch and sight, and act accordingly.
She placed it on the ground in front of her and watched it move back and forth in a simple pattern. It walked by crawling with it's fingers along the surface. If the man didn't react surprised to this, then she could begin to assume that he had experience with abominations as such.

In its ears, Jaques heard its maker chuckle slighty.
Aaah, as expected. He sounded too happy for this to be good.
Jaques, make her one last peaceful offer, if she still resists, feel free to use force. As long as she's alive when she gets here, I don't care how much she suffers.
Normally, Jaques would have been happy by an offer like that... People were just so likely to resist...
"Look..."
It started, completely ignoring the hand.
"My mak.... master really wants to meet you. So you should... just follow me quietly now."
It was really confusing to be thinking: Please, just follow me! and: Please, resist! at the same time.
Sometimes it wondered if its maker had just given him a few human emotions for his own amusement at seeing it suffer from them fighting against its destructable instincts... It was very sure that it was this way...

Ti'ar took out his scythe. "No need, Martello... we can kill this guy easily." He ran forward, swinging the scythe at Seth's arm-shoulder joint, and being prepared to avoid the sword.
