| The reason behind that is probably the fact that they are unique. Reborn is Realistic and about Mafia families for the most part if I'm not mistaken. Naruto is Bad guys over there>kick their butts>Win>Continue on with series in repetitive manner. | |

| Exactly. Everyone likes that for some reason...-_- Death Note is kinda popular but it's more of a thriller than anything else. .hack-Huh...Well, it mostly has the same storyline for most of it's series, with alterations in it from passing times.
.hack's main overall type of story:
Something in "The World" is causing players to fall into comas while playing. Thus, the main characters of the different series must put a stop to it. The causes for the coma victims vary. In G.U. it's a Virus, in the first games it's Bugged Monsters. | |
