History: Hornigold was born into the life of the circus. Acting and Performances became his livelihood growing up. His family in particular were performing swordsmen using their skills to impress the masses. Usually this didn't go further than simple tricks than juggling and sword swallowing. Hornigold was the first to actually use his sword for actual combat during the show. He would combat the various circus animals from lions, gorillas, rhinos, and even the elephants. To raise the stakes Hornigold would use a wooden sword to subdue the animals. The audience would be left in awe and astonishment from his act. They loved him. Hornigold soon became the star attraction of the traveling circus. His fame began to spread throughout the ocean. Then one day a accident happened while performing. A monstrous lion from the grand line snapped his sword with his paw leaving Hornigold defenseless. The lion mauled the performing almost to the point of death. Though he survived the ordeal Hornigold lost the reputation and fame he worked for. The attack scarred his face and his body became so horribly deformed making him unfit for any audience to look upon. He had to quit the circus. Hornigold had to resort to hiring his sword for the highest bidder to make ends meat. Then the lore of piracy caught his attention. Adventure, prizes, and leisure were the life of a pirate. Plus he could reclaim his former glory. Hornigold decided to become a pirate for his final act.
