-Appearance information-

Body:  Diana stands at a slightly taller than average 5'8" (173 cm)  and weighs around 140 lbs (64 kg).  Visually, the curves of her body are more subdued.  She has a soft hourglass shape, with her hips being slightly more prominent than the top half and legs that are a touch longer than most.  Her build is definitely on the light side, but Diana has done enough physical work in her life to keep fit.  Any muscle she has gained is more on the toned side, rather than sheer density and power.  

Face:  One of the first things someone might notice about Diana are her round, uniquely colored eyes.  They are a bright, icy shade of blue and rest at a slight angle.  The light hue of her eyes complement her incredibly fair skin tone.  While quite lovely, her smooth complexion is easily sunburned if proper precautions aren't taken.  Her face is a soft heart shape, and matches the gentle slopes of her jaw and nose.  The shape of her chin and nose are slightly rounded, and her cheekbones sit a bit higher up than most.  Even if some consider it to be a rather pretty face, Diana could use a smile to brighten it up more often. 

Hair:  Sitting on the top of her head is thick, platinum blonde hair.  It's nearly on the verge of being white, but has a soft golden hue to it.  Diana takes good care of her silky hair and often braids it when she has the time.  Normally it's kept in a low, loose braid off to the side and rests on her shoulder.  A few choppier pieces near the front are too short to be kept back and occasionally get in the way.  When down her hair is long enough to reach the middle of her back and has a slight wave starting the lower half of the length.  Diana's eyebrows are a slight shade darker than the overall color of her locks.  They are subtlety curved and end at a taper with a uniform thickness  throughout.  

Non visual information:  Diana's appearance is always well kept.  Her clothes rarely have sloppy looking wrinkles and stains if she can help it, and she maintains personal hygeine quite well.  The pitch of her voice is somewhere in between.  Not particularly high pitched, but definitely female.  When she speaks it is often in a smooth, mellow tone.  There is oftentimes a slight chill in the air surrounding her, quite literally.  

Clothing:  The outfit Diana wears most frequently is also the one she is most comfortable in.  She is almost always seen wearing a dark brown leather flight jacket with a fur collar, knitted wrist-lets and waistband.  A hood and front pockets make it a functional and comfortable coat.  It seems to be tailored for someone who has a slightly larger frame, but it is still well made and has a roomy fit.  Her undershirt can vary.  Most commonly of which is a wine colored scoop necked shirt with sleeves that reach her elbows.  The cut of the neckline is low enough to expose her collar bones but conceals any cleavage.  For pants she normally wears fitted denim cargo pants in a white color with a black cloth belt at the hips.  The bottom of the jeans are tucked into a pair of snow boots.  These boots have fur embellishing the tops and are made of a soft, dark brown suede with black rubber treads.    

Weather permitting, Diana will rarely wear a sleeveless halter top.  It's dark raspberry in color without much embellishing.  While wearing this her shoulders and back are exposed.  With this she'll wear faded denim shorts that cover the length of her thighs.  The back pockets on these have light embellishments.  On her feet Diana will wear braided gladiator-esque sandals in a dark brown color.  Even with this lighter attire Diana tends to wear her leather coat on top.  Her jacket is something she is often seen wearing, regardless of weather.  


-Personality information-

Personality Overview:  Diana is very much an introvert.  Being around people is draining for her and she prefers to be alone with her thoughts.  Even when socializing with others, her reserved personality is apparent.  Other people tend to be talk too much, and not use their heads nearly enough.  While she doesn't outright dislike other people in general, she would much rather spend time by herself.  She has a tendency to be awful at small talk and holding conversation in general.

She has a perfectionist streak in her, for good and bad.  It does help her have a well-trained eye for detail and the ability to see faults in herself to improve from.  This can cause the big picture to be overlooked, however, and she is often overly self-critical.  If Diana's going to take the time to do something, she is going to make sure it is done flawlessly.  She does have a bad habit of being overly curious at times.  

Politeness is also one of her more apparent traits.  Even when faced with disrespect, Diana will respond with courtesy.  Kill them with kindness.  Well, not really kill them.  She likes to think that everyone has their own way of thinking and they have a right to it.  Even if it's different from hers.  As long as someone isn't hurting anyone else with whatever they choose to do, they should have the basic right to do it.  Even then, everyone's bound to have a streak of good in them somewhere.  Deep, deep down with some people.  A few people might just need a bit of help to find it.  

Likes, Dislikes, Hopes and Fears:

- Spicy foods: It burns.  She can't handle it.
- Sunny, hot weather:  The sun and heat are unpleasant.  Sunburn, heatstroke?  No thank you.
- Killing:  She doesn't like playing god, and believes she has no right to end someone's life.

She hopes to change the world for the better somehow.  Not necessarily in a huge way, but meaningful.  It'd be great if she found people who accepted her, strange tendencies and all.  As hopeful as she is to find a group of companions, she's come to the conclusion that it wouldn't be likely to happen.  And probably for the best.  Diana would probably mess up somehow and turn them into popsicles on accident.  In addition she also fears not meeting her true potential and being a disappointment the few who are close to her.


-History information-

Diana was born to Nadia and Henry Célestine on a snowy winter night, somewhere in North Blue.  This was their second child at the time, and eventually they grew to be a family of 4 children.  Even at a young age, Diana got along quite well with her siblings.  Most of the time.  She didn't mind being the middle child and had a relatively uneventful young childhood.  Her father was a skilled cellist in an orchestra, while her mother worked for the local bank.  It definitely kept the family busy and on their toes.  

Eventually Diana reached the age where she started attending school.  Although she was quiet, she consistently performed well in school but lacked in the social aspect of it.  The friends she had were few and far between and she much preferred the company of books and music to classmates.  Diana showed promise as a student and musician, but lacked any desire to gain attention for it.  She was content to play in her school orchestra and get good grades without much recognition.  Her parents kept high expectations for her school performance, which Diana was able to meet without too much difficulty.

Henry, her father, eventually was required to travel more for performances.  By this time Diana was old enough to help care for her younger siblings while her mother worked.  With both their parents working there was plenty of money to put food on the table among other things.  Diana would have preferred to see her parents more often, but she didn't complain.  They were doing what they thought was best and she was thankful for that.  It was more than a lot of people got.  Also around this time, her elder brother left to make his own life happen.  She considered going with him although decided against it.  Diana wasn't ready to leave home quite yet and her family could use the help.  He did leave her a gift, however: his jacket.  It wasn't anything particularly expensive, but Diana had always enjoyed wearing it for fun when she was younger.  By this point he had outgrown it, and she would get more use out of it than he would.

It was particularly frigid weather one winter day.  Diana had packed a lunch and bundled up to run some errands before the stores closed.  Everything seemed normal until she spotted a man huddled against a building.  He was filthy, hungry by the looks of it.  Didn't look like he was prepared for the weather, either.  The man mustn't have been from the island, since it was to be expected this time of year.  Everyone carried on with their lives and didn't notice or chose to ignore him.  It would have been easiest to walk right past, but something compelled Diana to stop.  She walked over to the shivering man and gave him her lunch, along with the hat and coat she had been wearing.  Her brother's jacket was underneath so she would last the cold until she made it home.  This generous gesture touched the man, who happened to be a pirate down on his luck.  Diana was about to walk away, but he stopped her.  There was one thing that he could do to repay her.  He handed her a strange looking fruit.  Initially she refused, but he insisted.  It was the least he could do to repay her.  Even though she was unsure exactly what it was she accepted.

After she reached home again, Diana did some research on the unusual fruit the man gave her.  There wasn't much information about them on her island but she did find out what it was: a devil fruit.  They were mystical fruits that bestowed powers onto whoever ate them.  She was unable to discern what particular fruit was gifted to her was for the time being.   The devils fruit sat collecting dust in a box in her closet in the meanwhile.  It was going to change though.  There was a day that some pirates came to town looking for trouble.  Bandits were smashing down doors, taking what they fancied, and leaving any who happened to be around for dead.  At the time it was herself and her younger siblings home.  

Diana made a decision then and  there: she ate the fruit she had nearly forgotten about.  Even though she wasn't entirely sure what she was doing, it was not something the pirates expected, and the shock was apparent on their faces.  They ran off to regroup, but vowed to deal with Diana as soon as they gathered more men.  After they retreated, the end result was not pretty.  While her siblings were safe, albeit a bit startled, the house was a wreck.  She couldn't risk putting her family in further danger.  Not to mention the whole disappointment in nearly destroying  the house sorta thing.  In a panic she fled, without a destination in sight.

The vast open sea was frightening and unfamiliar.  Initially the first few days were a struggle, but Diana got a hang of it.  Bounty hunting seemed profitable enough to keep her afloat for the near future.  Plus, she'd be putting some dangerous people behind bars in the process.  It was a win-win.

Level-headed:  Diana is able to keep her wits and emotions constantly in check.  It takes a significant turn of events to cause her lose her cool.  Haha.  Puns.  Taunts and the like have little effect on her mental state.  If on the off chance she does become phased by something, it'd probably result in the verge of a mental breakdown.
