I found this on deviant deviantart, being passed around so I thought I would post it here and see what everyone thinks. It should be interesting to see how everyone's characters fair.

Your character may be a bit on the boring side. Of course, this does depend, but generally if they are scoring that low, it wouldn't hurt to 'spice them up' a bit ^^


<6-15 -Balanced Character
If your OC scored around here, then they are probably quite a well-balanced and interesting character. Those scoring in the higher end of this category may be a bit too much though.


16-25 -Borderline Mary-Sue
We have a problem. You need to tone your character down. They are most likely a bit annoying to others, too.

Now honestly I was surprised that Derge scored worse than Iken, which according to the test didn't turn out so bad...

it seems to me like youd only post this just to disparage any arguments that iken is a marry sue, which if you didn't believe or at the very least acknowledge you wouldent have had to go shouting from the rafters with the test in had to say he isnt one, seems unnecessary to me as marry sue is something that has much more to do with execution that it does character structure...
Personally I only ever said he was a marry sue because at the time he had a muchkin like collection of uber-weapons but he dosent have those now so I dont consider him one... also I thought derge was defeated or dead or something, not that I follow the rps at all, where is this test anyway, it seems to have ignored quite a few sue elements, such as the high number of victories as proportional to defeat, the lack of injury as a result of those victories, how effortless the victories are won, world renoun status ect...

Nope, you are incorrect sir. This was meant merely for the fun of it, I did this test a while back (as shown in my deviantart journal history). Now if I had wanted to prove anything I would have posted this right away, right? Also I have long since given up the hope of convincing one way or another on that issue, as it seems once someone hears it on way they're stuck on that mind set.

Like I stated in the original post, I didn't create this. With that said, if you have any discrepancies with this; you're more than free to make your own. The whole point of this was to increase the activity of the site(if only a little) by starting an ongoing and engaging conversation.
