Appearance: The feathers are a pair of Dual Dao Swords with snow white blades. The blades have engravings on them that resemble feathers all over the flat sides of the blades. The feathers only show when they are wet, which earned the swords the name Feathers of the Storm. The blades are light-weight, but very durable, having not cracked once over the many decades of wear and tear. The blades' guards are shaped like two haves of a sparrow's head with a single eye on each side and the guard only moving over one side, as is the custom of dual dao swords. The eyes are tiny gemstones that are for decoration only, but don't seem to even come out. The blades are thin themselves, but when placed side by side, their blades thickness matches up with that of any normal sword. On the ends of the handles and on the edges of the sheath's opening, there are actual feathers hanging off. These feathers are small feathers that had molted off of the Giant Seagulls when they were small chicks. The handles are made for single hands only and are made of bamboo.
Use: Like all dual Dao Swords, the use of these blades is very specific. The swords need to be used together. These aren't like having just two katanas that you are fighting with. The way one figths with these blades is that you turn a two sword style into a one sword style that can separate into a two sword style. The unison of the blades is so perfect that people often forget that there are two swords. But because there are two swords, the swords can move in ways that a single sword could never move.

History: The blades originally belonged to Kaya's father who was but an average swordsman who died in a duel between himself and his best friend. The swords were then given to Kaya by her father's best friend who wanted to give them to her.
Availability: single pair in existence. I'm sure there are more dual Dao swords, but there is only one Feathers of the Storm.

Appearance: The armor that Kaya wears is similar to that of a Samurai from before. The armor is made of steel with leather and chain mail connecting the two together. The metal areas have some red engravings down it which glow in the intense sunlight. The engravings resemble that of fire with her helmet covering her face. The helmet also has the red engravings on it, though they are thinner and few around it.
Use: The armor is worn to protect her body from harm when she fights.
Special abilities: The armor raises her endurance by 10%
History: The armor was bought at a weapons shop a few days after Kaya lost to the big and dangerous man from her history. She was scared of getting killed in battle and not having someone there to save her again like last time, so she took her remaining savings and bought herself a suit of armor to protect her in battle. She had to lug the entire suit of armor herself as she left into the woods to train, and she would spend every day training in the armor until it became like a second skin for her. then when she came back, she disguised her voice and pretended like she was a traveler, using the armor to mask her appearance.
