Eyes: The iris is white; however, the whites of Ryzan’s eyes are actually as black as the pupil giving his eyes a rather unsettling and unnatural look. They look like an eye would if it were in negative. This is from a mutation in his gene.
Hair: Bright red and spiky.
Physical: Muscular build especially in upper arms. Skin is dark tan with many scars on the arms. Face is cheerful and slightly handsome. It is devoid of facial hair except for thin eyebrows. Eyes are big and full of excitement. There are 3 parallel scars crossing from his left shoulder to just under his right peck, one scar destroyed his left nipple. He also has a well developed six pack.
Clothes: He never wears a shirt or a jacket (except in very cold weather) but does have dark red sleeves that go from the wrist to the shoulder. These have parallel diagonal cuts in them on the outside. He wears rugged dark blue jeans with holes in the knees and frayed ends; these are held up by a dark red sash that is tied on the left side. The jeans have parallel diagonal cuts in them on the outside from the knee to the ankle. The scabbards for his swords have one extended side to cover the blade over the grip and are attached to his sash on the right side.
History: Ryzan came from a small island in West Blue and trained in kendo there. The school was small, but sufficient enough to teach him the basics. He was always ostracized by the children of the village because of his eyes; he was only treated as an equal while practicing kendo. His parents, however, did not approve of sword fighting and taught him never to kill. He always argued with them over his training and ran away from home many times to train in the forest. Ryzan was too hungry for excitement to give up swords, but for some reason the moral of not killing stuck with him. He eventually left the island at the age of 19 and has been traveling through West Blue and working partially as a bounty hunter and a mercenary.
After traveling for almost two years, Ryzan encountered a marine by the name of Ironfist Fullbody. Fullbody managed to break both of Ryzan’s swords with his iron fists, but was dispatched by an untimely kick to the crotch by Ryzan soon after unarming him. Ryzan then went to town to seek a blacksmith who could repair his destroyed swords. While arguing with a local blacksmith, an odd man by the name of Checker offered to look at them. He deemed them irreparable but offered to smith him a new set of swords, as long as he could provide payment of course. Ryzan asked Checker to incorporate brass knuckles similar to those that Fullbody used into the sabres. After a week of work at the forge Checker was able to create the odd swords, at which point Ryzan offered him a job to capture a merman named Gufgor the Angler who had been causing trouble in some small coastal towns.
This is the start of his Bounty Hunter crew, the Wavy Red Hunters.
Personality: Happy and energetic. Ryzan easily gets excited over the smallest matters and therefore may seem impatient. He likes to talk and tell or listen to stories (provided they are exciting). He pretty much lives for excitement. He loves to laugh and will laugh at most any joke, good or bad. He dislikes awkward situations and will often try to liven up the mood when it turns foul. He does not believe in killing, but will fight for a cause he believes in and will kill if necessary. He has a hobby of practicing artistic sword fighting that he would never actually use in a fight (includes much spinning of the swords and juggling). His habits are spinning his swords around his fingers, and hopping from one foot to the other impatiently. Ryzan likes excitement, and dislikes killing.

Ship Flag: The Wavy Red sports a simple white flag to avoid being mistaken by marines, but the crew insignia is 3 horizontal wavy red lines (~), one on top of the other.
Special Abilities: Very good hand eye coordination, he can juggle his swords.
Learned Techniques:
2-sword style: “Saberphant” Tusk and Fang Stance
Ryzans most common fighting style, he uses his two sabres that have brass knuckle grips, Stella and Bella. The one in his right hand, Stella, is lighter and is used mostly to attack, while the left hand one, Bella, is held in the reverse grip and is for defense. He stands with his left foot forward and his left hand forward holding Bella horizontally to the left. His right hand holds Stella across his chest coming up to the left side of his face. He dances back and forth like a boxer while in this stance when waiting for an opening.
2-sword style: “Sabertooth” Fangs Stance
When an enemy gets too used to the Tusk and Fang stance, Ryzan will often reverse the swords in his hands to both pointing downward. In this stance he is hunched forward with both Stella and Bella pointed slightly back towards the ground. Ryzan then uses twin slashes to try to pierce through their defenses. He is more effective at blocking strong attacks in this stance as well, because he can use both swords. However, this stance has slower attacks.
2-sword style: “Elephant” Tusks Stance
Ryzan uses this stance when he gets frustrated with an opponent, or is fighting somebody that he either cannot, or does not need to, block. In this stance both Stella and Bella are held in the normal upright grip. Ryzan usually gives up all finesse while using this style and starts to rampage, hoping to simply overpower his opponent. It is difficult for him to defend himself in this stance, so he depends on a relentless attack to protect himself.
Weapons: Stella and Bella. Ryzan uses two sabre-like swords. These swords are sharp all the way on the bottom edge of the blade and slightly curved. The top part is sharpened half way back to the hilt and serrated. The blade extends over the grip of the sword and the sword is held like brass knuckles. So the blade protects the fingers and extends past them. Bella is slightly wider and thicker and is used for blocking while Stella is thinner and is for attacking.
Goal: Ryzan is always looking for excitement.
