Appearance: Terco is 6'5, and around 165 lbs. His hair is dark auburn with the most identifiable feature about the haircut being his bangs. The man's complexion is tan-ish, of a lighter shade. A pair of goggles are most likely strapped around his head, no real purpose so far, a minute fashion statement.
Next up, Terco usually wears a jacket, stained with a few blood splotches here and there. Not to mention the fact that the jacket goes down to knee level, on the very back of the jacket is a Plus Sign, which could be interpreted as a cross. Going further down, Terco wears a pair of white training pants, partially torn and binded by a belt, thin and tied towards the front of the pants. Finally adorned upon his feet are a pair of black flat shoes, wrapped in white gauze, just like Terco's arms.
History: Terco was born to two very religious persons on the island of Baterilla and lived in a Church. His mother, Ambrose, a writer and his father, Opal, a cook. Terco was raised doing either one of four things, practicing the religion that had fallen down to him(Aralism), learning how to cook from his father, practicing the art of writing with his mother or starting fights around the town he was native to(St. Gale).
Through the constant practicing of his religion, Terco soon stopped fighting as much as he would like to, due to his full devotion to Aralism which led to him become a sort of Monk at the age of 13. Here he cast away(not with ease) ‘Earthly Desires’ and only practiced that which he was sure would help him in his future quest to bring Aralism to the masses(writing and cooking, the latter since it would net him the money needed to travel the world).
At the age of 16, Terco began preparations for his Voyage, his parents helping his pack. After a short trip to another town for supplies, Terco returned to find the church he grew up in burned down, as well as the very town itself. Most blasphemous of all, his parents were strung up in front of the burning church, and cut to speed up the process of blood-letting. In the distance, Terco could only notice one thing, a Marine Ship voyaging away from the town.
Days later, Terco was found by a floatilla of refugee ships being protected by a gang of pirates. Terco joined the floatilla, finding friends among the ship that held the Chef Crew. Here he further honed his skills as a Chef, and met an icon he looked up to dearly, Iota de Limo. Iota took Terco in as his own, teaching the boy the arts of his own fighting style.
This new fighting style blended the style of boxing with the use of a small dagger-like weapon called a Katar(Indian Close Quarters Dagger). The agility of the punching speed and the reach needed for boxing, combined with the glove-like Katar, made a quite fatal fighting style which Iota passed onto him.
After five years of working with the floatilla, Terco set off on a new voyage. This one more personal. Utilizing the writing skills he learned from his mother, he now wishes to bring down the Marine Corp, through a series of exposes and pirate publications. The best way to do this however...is to join a Pirate Crew.
Personality: Terco is strongly passionate about not only his religion but his stance against Marines. Other than that, Terco is generally a high-strung jumpy guy, this is fueled by the fact that he is grounded in reality. His religion leads him to be heavily reliant on his faith, so in hard-times he often leans back on his scriptures to form not only opinions but the way he feels about certain things.
Still, his heart is in the right place, in that he wants Aralism to be globalized and even then, all he wants to do is help people.
Special Abilities: - Boxing y Dagger: Close Quarters Style - Fighting style that combines boxing with small glove-like dagger.
- Asa Overdrive: A state of awakening that is achieved by heavy meditation, allows Terco to have a heightened sense of perception, meaning a quicker reaction time.
Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25): Asa’s Wrath: Only achievable during Asa Overdrive, a special move which happens when Terco takes all of his excess energy and moves it to a single arm, allowing for a final punch which usually results in an uneven displacement of force, culminating in either his opponent’s defeat or the breaking of Terco’s arm.
Weapons/Items: - Katar: A small glove-like knife used in battle.
- Scriptures: The Scripts of Asa, which he carries on him at all times.
Character Flaws: - Religion Restrictions:Terco is restricted to cast aside Earthly Desires, a.k.a. feelings towards females. Safe to say, this isn’t always the case.
- Hate of Marines: Ever since the events surrounding his parents’ death, he has a heavy hatred of Marines.
Goals: - To become a successful writer.
- To use his stance as a writer to reveal the corruption in the Marine/Naval System.
