| Weapon Name: Butterfly swords Description: ImageA butterfly sword (occassionally referred to as "butterfly knife") is a single-edged blade about as long as the user's forearm, and normally used in pairs. Most commonly they are used as a painfully sharp extension of empty-handed combat. There is also a crossguard on each blade, and both blades can be kept side by side in the same scabbard to have it appear like there is only one.
