History:Luke was from a wealthy family in Loguetown. Ever since he was little he was fascinated at mystery novels and stories that has made him into a intelligent young man. At the age of 14. He was able to solve a stealing crime by examining the clues. Then at the age of 16, He was the youngest detective ever known and was entitled as a prodigy. Because of this he studied some martial arts so that he can protect himself in case he gets in trouble
One day Luke was investigating a crime scene. He then noticed that someone was attempting to steal a strange fruit that lead to murder. He took the fruit and there he already knew it was a devil's fruit. He took the fruit so that he can further examine it. As he was walking he then felt he was being followed by men. He used his instincts and rapidly walked. He then knew that they were after the Devil Fruit that Luke has. He was then surrounded.
Give me the devil fruit kid and no one gets hurt hehe . Luke then just smiled sarcastically and ate the devil fruit.
You want it badly? come and get it . He then took off and ran. He entered a dark alley but it was a dead end. He had no choice but to fight them. Then a dark silhouette was coming towards him. Luke was nervous until it was a Vice Admiral.
What are you doing here Luke?. Enraged he slapped the Vice Admiral.
You scared me to death! But I sure am happy to see you. Let's go home. . They then walked different paths. But Luke was again chased by the men. Luke then thought that he may be saved by the Vice Admiral. To his surprise he seemed grew a little larger. He then knew that he transformed into the Vice Admiral.
You think you can easily fool us with that transformation? Lets go men, lets teach this kid a lesson . Luke then punched the first man and he flew. The men were surprised and they escaped in terror. Luke then transformed back to his original self. He then knew that the devil fruit was that he can transform into anyone he wants. He thought of turning into Gol D. Roger but he failed. Because of his intelligence he then knew that he can only transform into people who he only touches.
He then used his new power to his advantage at his job. He can do his disguises and such perfectly. Because of his intelligence and power, he was recruited by the World Government as their own Detective. Now he is the one that you can hire in the most dificult cases. Personality: Since Luke was a prodigy, he always gets his cases done. He is the type of person that does not takes his job very seriously that he takes stress from it. He enjoys the job. Because of this he positively finishes it. It is one thing that his fellow detectives envy from him.
Luke Grantz does not take violence as his only option. Because of his intelligence, he sometimes counters the attacks of his enemies or sets traps.
In case he got no choice but to fight. He can do that. He trained martial arts and always hits the vital parts to knock out the enemy. He never tried to kill the enemy
