Gauntlet of Lightning

If cyborgs are possible in the world of One piece, then I don't see why this isn't.

Could he have a rubber glove beneath the gauntlet with triggers on the fingers so that he could trigger it by touching certain fingers to his thumb or something? Just a suggestion. ^.^

Actually, they're not technically making it for me. They're considering adviceful ways for the weapon to be approved in my stand point.
