South Blue: The Continuation of the Underworld

Kaizen woke-up inside a hotel. It was basically abandoned with no more then three people living inside, all of them were regulars in the fight club. Kaizen slept naked that night, since he didn't want to ruin one of the only pairs of clothes he had on him. The underpants were left to wash outside. Kaizen walked through the hallway, down the stairs, and outside the building to grab the clothes being hanged. Among them was his underwear. Kaizen didn't care that he just walked the distance without any clothes on. Kaizen put on his boxers right there and walked back inside to pick out his clothes for the day. He put on a long sleeved white shirt with buttons moving down the middle to the bottom of the shirt. The sleeves also had buttons on it. His pants were black and silky, almost. His shoes were Italian style and clicked when he walked through the room to get his black tie and black fitted coat.

Kaizen walked out of the apartment with Billy and Bob waiting for him. Billy, with his bulging muscles, talked down to the smaller Kaizen, "You ready? Today's fight club might be especially bloody." Kaizen smiled, then responded. "You guys don't usually come to grab someone, I've seen you guys on the same door the entire time I've been here. Did someone important make a bet on me?" Billy didn't say anything, a drop of sweat went down the side of Billy's face, but he looked normal other then that. "I guess that person wants me to win, or you would have attacked me just now. I'll go along with things. Who else might be showing up?" Bob answered from the corner of Kaizen's eye, "Anywon dat mite need moneh." He started to smirk on his own, like a hidden joke was in there somewhere. Kaizen knew that today was going to be specifically bloody, however he'll gain more money and reputation by doing these things.

Ikari jolts awake, her eyes snapping open.  Staring at the ground, Ikari pushes herself up.  She had been sleeping in her clothes the entire night.  It was the only thing the kept Ikari warm as she slept outside.  Rubbing her eyes gently, Ikari yawns as she inspects the area around her.  The bench that she had been sleeping on seems to be in a worse condition than she originally believed it to be.  The paint that had been on it was peeling off, piece by piece, revealing the rusted pieces of metal that lay underneath.  Scratching her back, Ikar yawned once more.  Taking out a small flash of coffee, Ikari took a sip of it.  Cold.  Bitter.  Ikari shivered as she took the sip and decided to put the flask in her pocket;
"I really wish that coffee would have the same effect on me as it does other people sometimes."

Getting off of the bench, Ikari began to walk towards the place where she was promised belli.  Today was the day she would finally get that belli.  She doubted that the tax collectors that had bothered the fight last time would interrupt again.  They had made their rounds.  Ikari would fight Kaizen today.  Ikari sighed then flicked herself on the temple lightly.  Yes, the man had helped her get medical attention, but today, right now, that man was to become her enemy.  At least, for a while anyway...

Kaizen took his time walking to the area intended. He knew he could get away with this, and it showed to the other two that he was in charge of them, even if it was temporary. Kaizen walked in the direction of the fight club but was stopped in the break he usually took to get to the bathroom-like entrance. The two men basically broke the curve with Kaizen between them, basically forcing him to head their direction. Kaizen walked through unfamiliar streets that seemed to lack the usual 'warm feeling' one gets when around kind people. These people had guns on their laps and looked at Kaizen and the two like they were about to kill them. Yet the two men in front of Kaizen continued to move forward, like those people didn't exist.
 
Kaizen eventually made it in front of a cement building, it looked run down. The two men slowly walked forward with Kaizen in front of them. They recognized his usual pace by this point. The floor of this fighting arena was made of marble, but it looked old. Kaizen's steps echoed through the room wile he took his usual strides with a smile on his face. He opened the doors to the next room straight down the hall and an arena waited for him; it was caged and with at least a hundred people sitting around them. In a glass room that's noticeable from the arena sat the three big dogs that Kaizen knew all too well about. If only he knew which one bet on Kaizen, then he could watch his back if he lost or go straight to the person that will probably try to kill him.
 
In the middle a developing giant, maybe 25 feet tall, attacked a tiny man that had two swords. The little man swiped through the giant, cutting his legs several times, and continued to run around him 30 miles per hour. The giant couldn't keep up with his low perception. The little man cut his arms off, then his legs, and finally his neck. The giant fell to the ground, dead, and Kaizen could only smile. He was probably going to die today, in the day of only survivors.

It was early in the morning but not so early that people had not got up yet. Down at the docks many people were already working receive new shipments and getting boats ready to sail. Leo's own ship was in the very dock. Although he wasn't in need of money or per say the flow of goods interested him. It told him about a countries needs what they have plenty of and it also spoke of politics. A lot of money via of these goods were exchanging hands. And all he had to do to mess with this flow was to touch it. If Leonardo did this he would be able to take this and move vast amounts of items quickly keeping what he could find a use for and selling the excess.

Today he was dressed plainly, no cape but his goggles were still there and his mask covered most of his face. Other than that he wore grey v-neck and royal blue pants. He had been in town for little while and been able to obtain papers that allowed him to work. He had concealed his abilities while working as not to attract attention to himself. It had allowed him to deal with a lot of cargo with out working hard. His diligence had not gone unnoticed.

Ikari continued to walk towards the underground arena that she fought at the day before.  The arena, as she remembered it, was small.  As such, it was unlikely that Ikari would be able to use her full power through danger of collapsing the whole area.  Continuing, Ikari eventually made her way back to the bathroom-like entrance.  The two guards from yesterday where no longer there.  In there place, the man that had contracted Ikari from yesterday stood.  The man smiled his usual smooth smile and spoke to Ikari in his usual honey-like voice;
"Hello champ.  Ready for the fight today?"
The man started to move away from the entrance of the arena, signalling for Ikari to follow.
"Ofcourse I'm ready.  Now, where are you taking me?"
The man smiled at Ikari from over his own shoulder;
"You'll see."

Walking past a crowd of hostile-looking people, Ikari and the man eventually came up to a concrete house.  Walking inside, Ikari's sandals clacked on the floor as she walked on the marble flooring.  The man, in front of Ikari, opened a door that opened up to an arena.  Ikari walked inside and saw the large number of people watching the cage fight.  Watching the fight inside the caged arena, Ikari's went wide suddenly.  It was clear that Ikari had only entered to the end of a fight.  A small man with two bloody swords.  A torso on the ground with limbs splattered around the arena.  Today was a kill or die day.  It was clear that Ikari could not go easy on any opponents today;
"Fuck."

"Young man we have seen you work day in and day out. You move much and don't tire." Rubbing his balding scalp he pauses adding an air of drama to his speech.  Times are hard but they don't have to be COME join us. Lets but those burly muscles to test. What say you?" Smiling heavily he extended his arms like someone who was expecting a hug.

Putting down the box he sat on it instead, Indian style.  "You talk a lot but you say much. Make plain what your asking.  My time is not free and therefore you costing me."

"No need to be so frank but I like that a man who knows what he wants and expects it." Seeing the young man stand up he started speeding up nervously not knowing what would happen should he stand. "Now now I was just offering you a chance and MAKING money." Seeing how this still wasn't pleasing he adjusted his sails pitch. "Beg my pardon come with me and you will make more money than you could possibly hear that is if you win.  The opportunity is a chance to fight and if you win you get paid well and if you... well it depends on how good were."

"Of course you get a fee for bringing me no matter what." Leonardo was not naïve he new how the world worked.  Therefore he didn't ask, he was simply letting the man know he wasn't oblivious.  But some times it paid to play the fool. People were more inclined to not pay attention those who weren't clever. What Leo wanted was information and if these fights were above board he would have heard of them more by now.  This was an opportunity to make new contacts.  With the tax money safely stored spread out amongst ship cargo.  Leonardo had already learned where they were going and when.  He could not after all put it on his own ship.

Returning box he was carrying while on the wooden harbor he knelt down tying his shoe before touch the dock. Walking back to man who had invited him. They began to engage in light conversation one things which were mentioned was the riot and shooting that had recently occurred. To which Leo had spoke of like one who had read in a newspaper.

The giant fell to the ground and bled out. The clean-up crew stepped in and grabbed the remaining chunks of body parts from the ground. They put the parts on large bags with white suits that seemed to cover every inch of their bodies. These suits had weird rubes coming out of them and connecting to their backs. They each had helmets. The men finished cleaning the mess in less then a minute, which would make most people awe if it wasn't for their reason for being here. The audience showed up to see people fight to the death, not to awe at people's cleaning skills.

Kaizen walked to a room located in the bottom of the large stairs that led to the middle of the arena. Kaizen could see the end of the stairs they were headed had a chain going through it with a sign labeled 'Only Fighters Past This Point'. Kaizen smirked and walked through with Billy and Bob. They made a swift right turn into a large metallic door. Billy knocked a weird tone on the door and had it open. On the other side was a room filled with people ready to fight. The majority had weapons, while others just looked strong (Karate pajamas and the works). Kaizen sighed and folded his suit. Today was going to be a very annoying day for him.

On the board was a sign-up for the type of fight he'd rather get into. Single battles were maxed out, all that was left was double and triple battles to the death. Kaizen signed his name up for it. Apparently the triple battles (where three people fight against three people) only need one team to kill three others. It was a numbers game. However, it was also the most dangerous. Usually the triple battle teams are forced to fight a new team that hasn't fought yet after fighting the first or even second team. Kaizen knows about these methods, and knows that usually the triple battle fights only have two or three teams alive by the time one of them wins. Kaizen signed up for the fight though, and he'll win it somehow. Several big men smirked, and one of them 'tsk'd when he saw Kaizen, a small man compared to most of the men in the room, signing up his name.

Ikari continued to watch the arena as the body was cleaned up, still mesmerised that the speedy man had managed to cause so much destruction to one body.  Ikari's eyes slowly moved to her hands.  Then again, men can cause an extreme amount of damage to a single body.  Ikari sighed as the man she was following started to walk down a set of stairs.  Ikari followed the man down the stairs, erasing the thoughts of possible death from her head.  She wasn't going to die.  She had been through far worse and had still managed to survive.  Though, that was only due to her father being around to make sure that she didn't die.  Ikari sighed and shook her head once more, focusing on the fight ahead.

Getting to the bottom of the stairs, Ikari had passed both Billy and Bob, making sure not to look directly at them.  The man knocks on the door oddly.  The door opens and the man signals for Ikari to walk in.  As she did, she looked about the area.  In particular, Ikari was looking at the contestants.  They seemed strong, but that could simply be a facade.  The contestants also looked at Ikari, a few whistling at her.  Looking about, Ikari saw Kaizen at the sign up board.  Walking over, Ikari looked at where Kaizen had signed up.  Triple battle.  Hm.  Either Ikari would be able to punch Kaizen and finish their fight, or she'd be teamed up with him.  None of those were a bad option.  Ikari tried to push Kaizen out of the way and sign up her name to the Triple Battle.

Few people knew it but the there were several entrances to underground arena one did not have to travel that small town but instead could enter from the city.  That way in case of emergencies not everyone would be caught.  The man from the dock took Leonardo to one of the entrances. After some minor security precautions they entered deep below street surface.  Carefully walking through the dim halls Leo wondered of the history of this place how long have these passages been hear what was there original purpose and far did they reach?  At the end of the hall he saw light brighter than torches and after paying an entrance fee the man from dock, not Leo they enter an arena it was early so it wasn't crowded mostly fighter and security types.

Leo didn't ask the obvious questions nor the ones he wanted answered but wouldn't get. Instead he tried the most basic. "So how will this work." The man introduced himself and his role in the operation then he went on about the types of matches and pay option.

Kaizen felt Ikari push him to the side. Her strength was evident because Kaizen couldn't do much about the force she made to force him out of the way. She put her name in the list. Kaizen couldn't help but smile. A third name was added as well. And just like that the board suddenly shifted around turning the sign-up board into a blank wall. Kaizen looked at it for a moment and realized that the battle was going to begin soon. Billy and Bob walked towards the three selected first, which was Kaizen, Ikari, and Leonardo. Billy received a message from one of the top three telling him to bring those three in. It was Billy's job to memorize everyone that put their name in the list the second he saw them sign up. Billy and Bob pushed them outside the door a few dozen feet from their direction. The large group around them looked at them with glaring eyes. Everyone in the backroom was a contestant in the battles ahead. The majority of them were for the triple battle and double battle events.
 
Kaizen walked into the arena with his fedora covering his face. They were unlucky to be the first to be chosen. That meant whichever team they faced was going to be new, and unworn from battle. His luck was already bad.
 
Three men walked into the arena. Light was in the ceiling and covered the entire area. The stadium started to roar with excitement. Two men and one woman walked forward. They looked just as surprised as Kaizen, Ikari, and Leonardo to be brought into the light. They all looked human.. kinda. One of them had a pumpkin as a mask, but his neck and arms looked like that of a human. He had a long scythe that was about 7 feet long, with the blade end about 5 feet long and very sharp. The pole was made of a hard looking wooden pole. Hos torso was grey, and his pants old and dark blue. The other one was a woman with guns around her waist and back. She looked relatively normal, and attractive thanks to her slim body and very noticeable cleavage. She had black hair and red highlights. Her skin was almost pale, however. The last man was 8 feet tall and very bulky. He had metallic fists that looked capable of causing some real bruising. He had a soldier-like haircut and scars on his right arm. He almost looked like a gorilla, if it weren't merely because of his very bulky arms and shorter then usual legs.

As he had just arrived he didn't have the time to meat the others and he barely knew of the procedures.  By the time he had reached the others who were supposed to be his teammates he had been ushered past the sign in sheet, apparently the person that had invited him had already done the honors.  Like cattle he was escorted through another dark hall at the end of which he heard the sound of a fairly large crowd and the center of which was large arena that hold quite a few people obviously not meant for two people.

Two groups of three these were perfect numbers.  But to be thrown into the rink five people with unknown talents was not the most desirable especially since he was expected to team up with two of them.  If it had been a free for all he could have attacked them in back while they fought someone else but such methods would not work this time.   From the look of things his opponents new each other fairly well. Sure he could look them over and pretty much take a guess at some of their fighting methods based on visible weaponry and body type but that wasn't enough.  To truly pull this off they would have to be in synch and take advantage of strengths and weaknesses.  The opponents were fairly easy to some up. A hand to hand fighter, a gun user, and scythe wielder.  If Leonardo was able to touch their weapons he could relieve them of the tools they preferred. But a skilled fighter wasn't likely going to allow for such an opening.

"It looks like we don't have time for more formal introduction we can make pleasantries later.  But are you two at least familiar with each other battle style?" The match would start at any moment but Leo didn't want to go in blind while two of the opponents carried weapons he seemed to be the only one on their team to use these kinds of tools, although this wasn't his favorite means of fighting

After she had written her own name, another man had come by.  The man wrote down his name on the triple battles.  Ikari looked at the board, attempting to read the man's name, but the board had disappeared.  It turned around, leaving behind a blank wall in it's place.  Curious, Ikari began to go and investigate what this had meant.  Before she could move a single step though, Billy and Bob came over to the three, forcefully moving them to the arena.  Guess the disappearance of the board meant that the fight was about to begin.  Being pushed into the arena, the three where on one side.  Another three came into the arena a few seconds later.  Guess this means that Ikari was on a team with Kaizen and the mystery man.

Looking at the three opponents, Ikari focused on the tough one with metallic fists.  Perhaps it would best if she fought him.  They both seemed like the fairly slow, heavy hitter type of fighters.  Then again, who's to say that she would win that fight?  For all she knows, this man could be much tougher than she is and could hit three times as hard.  As she was temporarily lost in thought, the mystery man had asked herself and Kaizen if they knew of each other's fighting styles.  Ikari smirked slightly, giving a blunt reply;
"We've fought once. That's the extent of our knowledge really."

Kaizen walked forward towards the other team before the announcer called for the match to start. Kaizen didn't remember any rules stating there wasn't any conversations allowed between groups before the match. Kaizen smirked as he walked towards the woman with many guns around her body. He looked at her and spoke in his usual calm tone. "My name is Kaizen, it's nice to meet you. I'm sorry-" Kaizen immediately kneed her thigh and simultaneously slammed his palm into her chest causing her to start losing her breath and fall to the ground. The other two members stood by.. they already knew what would happen if they got involved. The rules were very clea. No physical confrontation before a match started. Guards swarmed into the field. Kaizen jammed his finger into both of her shoulders then kicked her face and forced her to the ground by the time the guards arrived to grab Kaizen.

He was carried away from the match. The announcer then declared, in the heat of the moment. "It seems we'll have to continue with 2v2 matches. But do not worry! The same rules apply. Death to everyone that loses!!" The crowd went crazy. On the way out Kaizen looked around. Not many people made eye contact with him. That was a good sign. He looked like someone that wouldn't follow the rules to get what he wants; and that was a great trait for an assassin.

((Lol sorry guys, RL is being a bish to me so I can't post as often as I'd like. I'm taking Kaizen out of this thread. You two can do your own revolutionary stuff. Hope we can RP again in the future, at the moment 3 threads might be too much for me to continue posting.))
