Jory's hair is a straw-blonde that catches the light well. It is straight and of medium length for a man, stretching down to his ears and to the middle of his neck in the back. He has bangs in the front, causing him to move them with his fingers often. He combs his hair every morning, though he is reluctant to tell others that.
His eyes are a stormy blue-grey, their expression ranging from placid contentness to burning rage. Blue eyes have been in his family for more than five generations, and he considers himself lucky to have such beautiful, luminous blue eyes.
His lips are usually pulled up in a crooked grin, as if he knows something the other person doesn't. However, when he becomes angry, his lips are set in a thin, tightly pressed line. His nose is slightly longer than normal and ends sharply. He prefers to say that it makes him look regal, but it is one of his greatest insecurities. He has a scar on his right cheek (not left, as in in the picture) that stretches down his face. He claims it is from a knife fight, but even he doesn't remember how he got it. A line of freckles goes under his eyes across his face horizontally, but doesn't stretch farther down than his cheekbones.
As far as height goes, Jory is rather average. He stands at 5'11" and wears a pair of Converse-looking sneakers that have been tailored to fit his larger feet (size 15). He appears lean when clothed, but has a lot of muscle built up from lugging around his mineral skeleton. He has larger hands as well, which he usually keeps wrapped in order to prevent the skin from being cut on his knuckles, as he is a chef. He weighs roughly 320 pounds, owing to his reinforced skeleton (see Knuckle-Knuckle Fruit below). Jory's extra weight has broken many a shoddily-made chair.
No matter where he goes, Jory always dresses in style. He wears an orange dress shirt with the top few buttons undone to show off his muscles. He wears a brown duster as well in order to conceal his hip holster for his pistol as well as for warmth and protection from the harsh sun. It is usually unbuttoned, allowing Jory to move more freely in it. He wears large pair (size 15 US) of Converse-looking sneakers in order to compensate for his abnormally large feet. His hands, again, are usually wrapped in white fighter's tape. Jory wears a pair of brown slacks, keeping them tightly secured about his waist with a grey belt.
Jory always wears a key on a leather cord around his neck. This was given to him by his mother before he left for the great blue sea as a reminder that he is capable of opening any door and overcoming any obstacle. It means very much to him. He also carries his pistol in a holster on his hip, which he conceals underneath his duster.
History:Growing up in Gaddalatta (the main village on Gaddalatta Island), Jory's childhood was filled with visits from seafaring men and women. Although he was too young to realize it, at one point the great Hawk-Eye Mihawk visited his island. Many of the major pirates from the West Blue would come to Gaddalatta for supplies and, of course, to imbibe copious amounts of grog at the local taverns. Due to the massive amount of seafarers who paid honestly in Gaddalatta, the village and the island prospered.
Jory was always fascinated with the Marines, particularly the officers. He thought that when he was older, he wanted to be just like them. They were so honorable and courageous and always did their utmost to protect the citizens of the World Government. However, as Jory grew to be a teenager, he became disenchanted with the Marines after seeing how dry their lives were compared to the magnificently glorious ones led by the pirates. He began to frequent the taverns, listening in awe to the stories the pirates would tell him of their adventures. Finally, he decided that when he grew up, he wanted to be a pirate and see the whole world.
His life changed, however, when he was on board a docked pirate ship. While digging through a barrel of fresh fruit that was to be sold at the market, he discovered a very odd looking fruit; in fact, it looked almost like a fist! He paid it no mind and, as he hadn't eaten breakfast that day, decided to take a bite. He looked puzzled, having discovering that it tasted quite similar to the blood that would come out of his knuckles when he punched trees to practice. He shrugged and kept eating it, walking down the gangway and toward the pirate crew. The captain's jaw dropped when he saw Jory. "K-kid, that's a Devil Fruit!" He tried to stop Jory from swallowing the last bite, but in surprise Jory gulped it down. He felt queasy for a moment and then looked at his hands, which were rapidly swelling. He felt his legs sag as his bones became heavier. His feet popped out of his shoes. Jory stood quietly for a moment.
"Awesome..." he said quietly.
From that day forward, Jory dedicated his life to training in martial arts and in the culinary arts. Jory wanted to learn how to cook in order to maintain some semblance of normality in his life. He grew stronger and more fit, gradually becoming stronger than any pirate who went to the taverns. He trained in martial arts styles that would capitalize on his newfound strength and began practicing with guns. His stone-like hands and feet easily break metals with enough force behind them. He is a quick fighter who thinks on his feet, focusing more on speed due to his strikes already being strengthened by his now steel-like hands and feet..
When he turned 19, Jory decided it was about time for him to set out on his journey to achieve his dream of becoming a pirate. He has been traveling the West Blue for a year, learning the basics of navigation and how to take care of himself before heading to the Grand Line. On his way around the West Blue, he has made it his goal to defend civilians from anyone who wishes to harm them without just cause, whether the aggressor be a pirate or a Marine. Jory has run afoul of a certain Marine Lieutenant multiple times and has won every fight against him and his crew, resulting in his bounty being rather high.
Since Jory joined up with Roko Cloud and the Blizzard Pirates, he has spent almost all of his time training. He has focused mostly on his Devil Fruit abilities. After losing to Haru on Drum Island, he realized that he had to get stronger in order to compete with the incredible strength of the pirates on the Grand Line. In addition, he has learned a new way to exploit his Devil Fruit. He has also gained $4,000,000 in bounty, leaving him at $5,000,000 due to his association with crew known to be extremely dangerous and for his role in taking Drum Island.
After the events at Shabondy Archipelago, Jory's notoriety skyrocketed due to his association with the Blizzard Pirates. During the timeskip, he trained hard with Roko in order to master his Devil Fruit and develop new fighting techniques. His bounty has increased tenfold since then and his power is now on par with many New World pirates owing to the time he spent in training. His drive to make his captain the King of the Pirates has become stronger since his loyalty to the crew was cemented after Shabondy.
Personality:Jory remains calm, even in the face of danger. He enjoys a good joke and employs sarcasm often. Sometimes, he is so sarcastic that people think he is being serious. This has resulted in more than one altercation. He is an intellectual who enjoys reading, but prefers the simpler things in life such as the ocean breeze and sailing the seas. Jory enjoys fighting but is kind to a fault, sparing enemies who many others would rather kill. He is not unwilling to kill those who threaten his life or the lives of those who he cares about, though. He is slightly vain and cares very much about his appearance.
Jory always has a sort of cocky grin on his face because he knows that no matter what he does, he will always be able to pull through in any situation. His ambition to become a world-renowned pirate keeps him going, allowing him to bull through the obstacles that stand in his way with grit and determination. His cool exterior belies his passion for justice. He sees himself as one who, as a strong person, has an obligation to defend those who cannot defend themselves. When he fights ,it is rarely out of any particular desire to kill someone and more of a way to convey what he thinks about the situation at hand.
When he fights, Jory does not usually care to engage in banter with his opponent. He focuses on the task at hand, trying to force all other preoccupations out of his mind because his life is on the line and he knows that whatever else there might be can wait until he is safe.

Jory swings his foot high above his head and downward to kick the opponent from above. Its power is bolstered by Jory's Devil Fruit.

Jory jumps in the air and pulls his fist back, punching the opponent from a diving position from above. Its power is bolstered by Jory's Devil Fruit.

Jory fakes a punch, pulling out his pistol and firing a shot into the opponent's chest at close range with his other hand.

Jory throws an uppercut as he jumps up, his legs adding power to the punch. Its power is bolstered by Jory's Devil Fruit.

Jory fires a straight kick into the opponent's chest, hopefully sending the opponent flying. Its power is bolstered by Jory's Devil Fruit.
Name: Peregrine Bomber
Jory launches himself high into the air and tucks himself into a ball upon reaching the apex of his leap. He then uses his Tekkai Kenpo in conjunction with his Devil Fruit to fall out of the sky with huge amounts of momentum to create a shockwave that extends into a sphere with a 15 foot radius.
Name: Richter Strike
Jory strikes the air or ground, sending out a powerful shockwave in the direction of his punch. Ground-based Richter Strikes are roughly five times the strength of air-based ones. This is achieved by using his Tekkai Kenpo to strike the air so hard that it compresses air into a cone-shaped bubble against his hand. This is fired rapidly in the direction of the strike. Ground-based strikes create a stronger cone of compressed earth that is fired in a parabolic path toward the enemy.

Jory's skin becomes "as hard as iron." His reinforced skeleton helps him take even more damage.
Name: Raging Golem Form
Jory produces extra "Stone Bone", causing him to become enormous and very strong. This amplifies his attacks, although he moves more slowly. After mastering Perfect Golem Form, this form has become larger and more powerful.
Name: Perfect Golem Form
Jory produces "Stone Bone" in smaller quantities than Raging Golem Form, causing his bones to be coated with more "Stone Bone" and his skin to form a 3 inch (7.5 cm) thick layer of "Stone Bone" on it.
Special Abilities:Martial Arts:
Jory has studied under multiple masters, learning techniques that capitalize on the hardness of his bone structure. He uses a lot of Muay Thai-style attacks in order to do lots of damage, as well as striking with kickboxing techniques. He has some knowledge of wrestling, although he prefers striking to grappling.
Rokushiki (Moderate):
Jory has studied with Roko Cloud to learn Tekkai. His stone skeleton allows him to become extremely durable while he is using Tekkai. He is capable of using Tekkai Kenpo, which allows him to use his Tekkai offensively.
Culinary Arts:
Jory is a very talented chef, having learned from not only the ones in the taverns around Gaddalatta but also from the chefs that came through on pirate ships and luxury liners.
Marksmanship:
Jory is quite a good shot with his pistol. This is mostly due to his extensive use of his pistol while practicing.
Superhuman Strength:
Since his bones are significantly heavier than those of regular humans, his body has become much stronger in order to be able to function at high speeds. He is extremely strong, allowing him to hit many people fatally at full strength.
Weapons/Items:Jory carries around a pistol, which is one of his own design that can fire up to six shots before being reloaded (think revolver, but with a magazine). He also wears a key around his neck. His mother gave it to him before he left, saying that it would open any door he came by. She did not mean this literally, but as a symbol of her belief in Jory's ability to accomplish anything.
Goal:Jory wants to see the world and become extremely famous. He wants to help Roko become King of the Pirates.
