[GOFF]: Karma Vs Laxus (CLOSED)

Sitting on a rock swinging his Kantana round, was a man known as Laxus. Beside him was an empty backpack laying on the ground. It wasn't a grassy or desert area but just a simple rocky place. Laxus look at the ground as he was swinging his Kantana. He suddenly smiled then girl his Kantana stopping it from swinging. So you, finally came. said Laxus patiently as he show some little smile. He shake his head to move the spiky hair off from his face. He put back his Kantana into it cover hanging at his waist. He raise his face up to the man who just arrive. Karma Tenma, Marine Rear Admiral, Captain of the Justice Gambler. Am i right? said Laxus as he start to move his leg foward, making some step.

"Well... not at all..." Karma said with a smile on his face to the man who thought that he knew a few things about him. "I am a Marine Captain... My father is a Rear Admiral. Haha." he said with a smile on his face as he stared towards Laxus. "I guess you know what I am here... Right?" Karma said afterwards, as he moved his hand on his sword's handle, prepared to unsheathe it. Apparently, that was his mission. He should defeat Laxus and bring him back to the authorities for something he did in the past.

Laxus was surprised by Karama's replied. It's really are embarrassing. Damn, that scouter!!! I will kill him later. How come he give me the wrong info!?! I was just getting cool. thought Laxus with a rather angry face. Laxus prepare to act as he see Karma trying to unsheathe his sword. Wait, let me make the first move! said Laxus as he activate his Shadow Boot which give him 3x speed then his normla speed. He have caculate the area before he came. He start to run around Karma leaving out black footstep as he run. He stopped. I have make 40 footsteps. 10 footstep in each direction murmured Laxus as then he unsheathe his Dual-Sword and start rush off toward Karma with his Shadow Boot still on.

"Hm? What could these steps be?" Karma thought as he looked at the steps. Those were something unnatural. He had not seen anything like that before... Could that guy be a Devil Fruit user, just like him? Karma did not know. However, as the time would pass, he would eventually find out by himself. He did not have to worry about this at that moment... He had more serious things to worry about anyway. Laxus was moving towards him with two dual blades and so he had to block his attack as fast as possible.

With a smile on his face, the young marine unseathed his sword. He said to Laxus "You know, you are not the only one who can do peculiar things." as four hands bloomed from the ground and attempted to grab his legs in order to block him and make him stop. As the hands were blooming, Karma swiftly moved his katana with his right hand and he said "One Sword Style - River!" as he launched an air blade towards Laxus in an attempt to cut him. If Laxus was successfully grabbed by the hands that bloomed and got hit, the attack would deal quite some damage. It was difficult to avoid being grabbed and avoid the slash. At least, that was what the young marine thought...

While Laxus was running he sense that something catch his leg and making him stay stilll. He tried to cut down the hand but before he cut it, he realize that, there was also an air blade flying his way. Fruit User?? Laxus thought but well, it's not so much surprsie...How would you expect from a Marine Captain? Laxus quickly transport himself toward one of the footstep behind Karma. That was his fruit power. Having escaped, from the attack, Laxus was somewhat relieve, while picking up three footstep nearby and throw it toward Karma's back hoping one of them will stuck on Karma's shirt. Having no time to waste, Laxus dash toward Karma with his Shadow Boot on and his Dual-Blade prepare for attack.

"Huh? Where is he?" Karma wondered as he looked at the man disappearing right in front his eyes. He looked at the right and at the left but it seemed that the man was not there. How could he possible move away like that? How did he do it? He had just disappeared from the spot. Karma was feeling him and in a single second, he only touched air... It seemed that he really was a Devil Fruit user, as he thought.

Then, he turned backwards towards the only spot were Laxus could have got and he did not check. And he was right. Laxus was right behind him and at the time he turned three steps were moving towards Karma. With some swift maneuvers the Marine Captain managed to dodge the two of them. He spinned his body towards the right dodging the first one and then he jumped to dodge the second one. However, he could not dodge the third one. As he fell from jumping, the third step reached his chest and hit him...

Even if it hit him, though, Karma was still fine and that was surprising. What was going on there? He had no idea... However, before he would wait to see the effects of that step, the marine said "One Sword Style - River!" once more and launched an air blade towards Laxus in an attempt to hit him. But little did he know that the man had a trick under his sleeves...

Laxus notice that one of the footprint have hit him. Great... Laxus thought to himself as he continue his swift running. He notice that Karma have make his move and release out a Compressed Air blade. That flying thing was annoying Laxus thought to himself as he transport himself toward the nearer footstep not so far away from his current postition, just to simply dodge the attack. Seeing that he have came more closer to Laxus, he reveal his first attack. Suddenly, a Flame lit up on his dual-blade. He swing both his blade making a whirling flame and Laxus cast the flame he just make toward Karma. Told ya what...This wasn't a normla blade said Laxus as he smiled. He finally stop to catch his breathe and wait to see the upshot of the attack.

Seeing the man dodging the attack and reappearing right above another step, Karma finally understood what his ability could do. The man was able to teleport on any of those steps with ease and so it was pretty easy for him to dodge any attacks. Karma had to come up with some smart maneuvers in order to defeat him and give him to the autorities. However, if Laxus used his ability to move around without effort, how would Karma be able to beat him? That was a very difficult battle, after all. More difficult than the man expected in the start.

To start with, Karma would have to do something in order to dodge the whirling flame attack. The attack seemed to be a quite powerful attack and it would probably cause a serious burn to the marine. With a serious look on his face, the marine took his regular stance and he said "Damn, you are good!" before he jumped out of the way of the attack towards the right and dodged it some time before it was about to hit him. "Now that I got some information about your powers, I guess it is about time for me to start getting more serious.".

When he spoke those words, the marine immediately took off his shirt and he dropped it on the ground, getting rid of the step that sticked to it some time before. That way, he would avoid having Laxus appear right in front of him with his powers... "Let's start!" he said and he started running towards Laxus in an an attempt to slash him. "One Sword Style - Flop!" the marine said and attempted to perform a slash while carrying his katana with his right hand.

Laxus watch as the man dodge his attack and took off his shirt. The match started to get interesting...as expected from a marine captain. He smile to himself. "I suggest you shouldn't attack randomly"!said Laxus with a rather mysterious face. He have much more equipment that he can use and turn the table around. But he won't look down on the man here who was a marine captain and quite clever. "I'm a swordsman for sometime, thought i'm not really good at it. I able to learn about slashing technique. When you attempt s move, you are concentrating on your sword. Sorry, but i have something to avoid your flying attack." After he say, Laxus whistle but then raise up his arm. Breath Dial! I have stock much wind to blow you unbalance. It not so much as a tornado but at least it can blow you to unbalance said Laxus as a huge pile of wind blow toward Karma attemp to make him stop him from doing Slashing attack.

As the man was running towards his enemy, he looked at the wind blow that moved towards him and struck him, causing him some damage and blocking him from attacking. That was a smart maneuver. Laxus was a great fighter and each second that passed, Karma realized that it was more and more difficult for him to find a way to defeat him. Apparently, he had read through Laxus' style, at least that was what he thought. The young marine had come to the conclusion that thanks to the nature of his fruit that allows him to transport himself to his previous steps, Laxus had a battling style that based on transporting himself and using ranged techniques in order to attack and in order to block attacks. The majority of the techniques that he demonstrated were of this kind, so that was the most possible conclusion Karma could come up with.

As a result, in order to battle an enemy like this, Karma started figuring out a strategy... However, while he was thinking, he started running with his great speed towards his enemy and he moved his sword twice while saying "One Sword Style - River!" to launch two air blades towards him in an attempt to buy himself some time to complete his plan and put his strategy into motion.

Laxus watch as his technique success. He don't want to transport to one of the footstep again until it was the only way to dodge the attack. He want to end the match quick, so he won't fall for any trick and having injury. A high rank marine was like that...there stratergy are quite fearsome. He nearly got caught by a marine before but able to escape. Laxus try to avoidthe attack whike coming up with some stratergy even thought the guy already know his power. He need to avoid the hand power of the guy even thought he didn't know clearly about that mysterious power. Got caught up by the hand will be a big risk.

Laxus see attacks coming his way so he start to run left, out of the attack with his Shadow Boot. While dodging he dash toward Karma and raise up his dual-blade attempt to slice Karma up. Like what Karma have said, th ematch have began to start, so it's about time for close combat.

"You are fast!" Karma commented as he looked at the enemy moving closer to him. Apparently, his pressumption about his enemy was wrong. The pirate had just moved towards him and he brought the battle to close combat. It was about time for Karma to take advantage of that and turn the tides of the battle. He would try his best to win against his enemy.

As Laxus raised his sword in order to slice him, Karma smiled and he placed his katana horizontally, making his katana and Laxus' dual swords clash with each other and make a loud sound. As the two swords clashed, Karma smiled and he said "Game over." as two arms bloomed on Laxus' hands and attempted to grab his hands to block him and prevent him from moving his swords. If he succeeded, Karma would follow with an One Sword Style - Flop attack in an attempt to cause some damage to his enemy.

Laxus heard Karma's comment. Oh..Thanks said Laxus as he tried to slice the guy up. Thing came out worst, he fall for the man's trick and he knew that, when the man said Game Over. Hand came out from his body and grab his hand tight, unable him to do anything. He glare at Karama and see him doing his action. Nooo....!! Laxus shout out while closing his eyes. But then a Hawk fly out very quick trying to push Karma away. With it speed, it likely can push Karma with ease. Nah...just kidding. said Laxus smiling as the Hawk moving toward Karma with a swift Hawk's speed.

"Damn!" Karma said as the hawk pushed him out of the way before he could slash his enemy. As the hawk was a powerful bird, he felt some damage from the push, but not too much. Apparently, he had not predicted that. He thought that Laxus was fighting by himself... But little did he know... However, that would not decrease his moral. Karma was the kind of person who would fight until the end, no matter what the circumstances were.

Now that he noticed that there was another thing that he should deal with first, he prepared his new attack. As he wanted to be done with that hawk that caused him so much trouble, he used his Hana Hana no Mi powers to bloom two arms on the wings of the bird that moved towards its neck in an attempt to struggle it. Afterwards, he swung his sword swiftly while saying "One Sword Style - River!" in order to launch an air blade towards Laxus and stop him from protecting the bird. What would happen next?

Finally you come by my whistle. I thought, you go hunting again! And you're arriving late too! Whatever, you save me a moemnt ago. So let do it Laxus said to the hawk. But then Karma have make his move again. A hand grow on the hawk's wing. DAMN YOU KARMA!!! HOW DARE YOU TRY TO HURT MY BELOVE FRIEND!? shouted Laxus angrily. The hawk was his only friend from his childhood. He really value it. Wait..the hand grow on the wing...but if there are no wing Laxus said to himself. Zeleon!Transform back into a Hyena! continued Laxus. He worry no more. If the wing disappear, the hand won't have anything to stay on. Even thought, it still on, Zeleon would have it leg to scratch it away, as a hyena. The hawk was originally a Hyena but it ate the Hawk Zoan DF. Laxus transport to one of the footstep behind Karma and dash off near him then attempt to slash Karma.

"Chk, quite annoying." the marine said with a surprised look on his face, as he looked at the hawk transforming back into an hyena. That was really a fight he did not expect. At first, his enemy was a "stepman" and now a "hawk" hyena... He would have to go with a smarter maneuver than his previous ones, if he wanted to defeat his enemies. And as Laxus transported himself behind Karma and dashed off towards him in an attempt to slash him, Karma thought that this was the right chance for him to make his movement.

When Laxus transported himself, Karma could not see him forward or around at the right or the left, so he was pretty sure that he was going to attack him from behind. It was about time for Karma to use one of his strongest slashes. Maybe that would turn the tides of the battle... At the time Laxus started transporting and Karma was staring at the hyena, hands bloomed from the ground in an attempt to grab the hyena's legs and stop the hyena from moving so that Karma would concentrate on Laxus. He swiftly moved his sword horizontally while grabbing it with his two hands and while taking a serious face and he whispered "One Sword Style... Turn.". Then, he swiftly turned behind and he attempted to block the slash of his enemy with his attack. The target of the attack was not the Karma, it was the swords so that Karma would block their attack. Turn was his most powerful melee slash and apparently, it was an attack that could cut through iron. The swords could end up getting destroyed and Laxus did not know that... Karma was pretty sure that he could destroy his enemies weapons and gain an advantage in the battle.

As Laxus dash toward Karma, he learn that Karma have make his move..some weird unpredictable move again. Whatever, we won't know the upshot unless we act. That's what Laxus thought as he start to slice to Karma. But as Laxus slice, Karma's weapon block his attack therefore a crack came on the dual blade and in another second, the dual blade was destroyed. The hell was that!!! said Laxus in a rather shocking face.

The hyena able to broke free from the hand that Karma control with it swift speed. It rush off toward Karma hoping that Karma won't notice him since Karma was busy fighting Laxus and perhap Karma won't notice that he broke free from the hand.

"Yes!" the man smiled, before he jumped out of the way, knowing that the hyena was about to come towards him soon. With his Hana Hana powers, he could feel whatever those hands that he sprouted touched... And he could also feel the hyena breaking from from his grip, so having the animal coming towards him was something that he expected.

After jumping out of the way, he looked towards both the hyena and the enemy. Those two were forming a pretty good combo and Karma praised them for that. They were pretty good combatants and they made a great team together. However, he really wondered what would happen now that the dual sword had been destroyed... Karma was having the upper hand and now he was prepared to take advantage of that. While having both his hands on the handle of his katana, the marine said "One Sword Style - River!" and he launched another air blade towards Laxus, by swinging the katana. However, this one was different from the previous air blade. As the sword was being grabbed with two hands, the attack had twice the power than the previous air slash.

The hyena still rushing toward Karma because it didn't know that Karma have realize about him breaking from the grip. While it was rushing, it suddenly stop to listen to what Laxus shout to him toward him. Zeleon! Turn back into hawk and fly off this arena. It was way too dangerous for you. shouted Laxus as the hyena tuen into a hawk and fly away. Now it's only me and you, again. said Laxus but then notice the compressed air blade. It's about time said Laxus while showing some smile. He picked up one of the footstep nearby him. As the compressed air blade, flying his way, he transport himself into one of the footstep...the one that was very near to Karma, the one he make during the first close combat attempt. When he reached near Karma, he raised up his left hand. Flash Dial! said Laxus as suddenly a very bright light took over the arena. It was so bright and if someone open their eye, they might lose their vision for some moment due to the very bright light. While closing his eyes, Laxus wave his hand toward Karma trying to stick the footstep he picked up esrlier on Karma. He can't see but he's quite sure where Karma was because they was so newr to each other.

"Argh!" Karma said as soon as the man released the Flash Dial and so he lost his vision temporarily. "Damn... How could I possibly know that he had so much equipment? Those idiots from the headquarters should have informed me before sending me here... Whatever..." he commented, as he could not see or do anything. However, a good idea came over his mind while saying that. Apparently, Karma had an ally in this fruit and that was his Devil Fruit. With the powers of the Hana Hana no Mi, Karma could replicate his body parts. As a result, he used his power to create eyes on top of the closed eyes and so he regained his vision thanks to his two new eyes.

As soon as he did that, he looked at his enemy who could not see and was attempting to use one of his steps to launch it on the marine's body. However, as Karma could see, he easily blocked it. By using the powers of his Devil Fruit, he instantly created a hand and blocked the step, before he made it disappear, along with the step. "Time to end this..." he thought as he prepared himself for one last attack.

Without saying anything, the man grabbed his katana with his two hands and he prepared to launch his powerful ranged attack once more. "One Sword Style - River!" he said, as he launched his more powerful than the usual air blade towards the man in an attempt to cut him down.

Laxus didn't notice that Karma able to regain his vision and follow with his attack. He didn't even realize that his footstep that he try to puton Karma didn't work. He finally able to know about it when Karma was making his move so he try to avoid the attack at all cost. Too late, thing have become worst as the compressed air blade able to cut through Laxus's chest from left to right by it edge. Laxus notice that he was bleeding and have some pain. Damn, that guy, using that compressed air blade attack. If only i manage to learn how to make it too. murmured Laxus as he unsheathe his Kantana. He start to dash off toward Karmaagain with his swift speed using shadow boot. Stay longer will be hard becuase the wound have start to ache.

"Another sword? Let's see..." Karma commented, as he looked at the enemy, before making the eyes he created disappear and started watching with his real eyes. Apparently, now that Karma caused a serious injury to his enemy, he was going to go with one simple plan. He would wait for his enemy to bleed and get weaker before landing him the final blow. It was a pretty easy strategy...

As Laxus moved towards him with his katana, Karma kept grabbing the katana with both hands and he moved it horizontally, in a same way as before when he broke the the dual sword. In case the swordsman was about to slash him, Karma would use his "One Sword Style - Turn" technique in order to block Laxus' sword attack and break his katana.

While getting near to Karma, he notice that the guy didn't do major acr. Something straneg, an attack came his way, and he's preparing for something. Without farther thought, he still rush toward Karma attempt to slice him...now that was more strange. A guy who knew that his enemy was planning something wherever he already have a serious injury, still rushing to hell...perhap it's not really hell, rushing off like that. Just perhap.

"One Sword Style - Turn!" Karma said with a smile on his face as he moved his katana with both hands in an attempt to block the slice of Laxus' sword and break it as well. If Karma managed to do that, he was pretty sure that he would win the battle. At that time, he had managed to cause a good injure on Laxus and also broke one of his weapons. If he managed to break his second one, Karma would probably leave him without weapons and he would emerge victorious from the battle. And as he moved his own katana towards his enemies, he hoped that he would succeed at breaking it... Would he succeed or not?

Laxus tried to slice Karma apart with his Kantana but then, the guy use his technique that broke his dual sword again! Again!? shout Laxus as his Kantana start to crumble and broke down. Nah just kidding, i know your trick said Laxus as he start to jump up over Karma then try to kick kick Karma in the face from the left. He was pretty sure, the attack land because he have studied about Karma's blocking attack before. When Karma block the attack, he'll only focus in blocking and his blocking defense will turn to full, however the other place are blind spot. And yet, Laxus also attack which can make Karma attention was on the broken sword. One more...Laxus was also a martiel artist.
