His hair is grey instead of black and he has a beard. He is also more muscular than shown in the picture and obviously he looks older. He also has some chesthair. Overall the picture is really bad but it's the best I could do.

History: Stark has always, even as a child, been very interested in powerful figures like the Marines and Pirates. At first he joined the marines and made it to the rank of Captain. He was a powerful fighter, skilled at Rokushiki but eventually he asked to withdraw from duty at the age of 50. By that time he had seen so many evil acts of pirates and marines alike he became sick of all of them and decided to quit his job and live as a hermit. However, because of his high rank and fighting strength the marines didn't want to lose him and promoted him to the rank of Commodore, stationing him in the Grand Line to prevent newbie pirates from reaching Sabaody Archipalego. After five more years of fighting pirates and being forced to sentence them to death or worse he was finally allowed to resign, allowing him to begin his life as a hermit.

In this period Stark travelled a lot. He visited many places along the Grand Line and even lived in Sabaody Archipalego for a while. But whereever he went there was a neverending stream of both marines and pirates, the former often pleading for his help in defeating roaming pirates, requests he couldn't deny if they were ordered by any marine, since he was just a citizen. Finally deciding he wouldn't be able to live his life as he wanted to he left the Grand Line and settled down on a small island near the edge of the Calm Belt.

However, after a few months of his withdrawn lifestyle he realized living a quiet life after fighting his whole life wasn't something he could do. He was in conflict with himself on what to do; he could either not do anything and die of old age lying on his bed or join either the marines or pirates who he both detested. Although he didn't want to die as a broken, old man after his hectic life he decided he'd rather die with pride than with dignity. Luckily, soon a possibility came along to avoid both options in the form of a request of a wealthy couple to train their son in a form of martial arts. He accepted and quickly became good friends with Takumi. However, when Takumi turned 17 and left his home and parents to join a pirate crew. Although his parents understood he had always wanted to go on an adventure they didn't want their son to become a pirate. They asked Stark to bring him back to them, a request Stark, due to his hatred for pirates and his friendship with Takumi, happily accepted. Since he has been searching places all over the Grand Line to find Takumi.

Personality: Stark is a stern and serious man. The many horrors he saw when he was a marine made him reluctant of contact with other people and made him even more stern and serious than he used to be. Although stern, Stark is also a kind man, especially towards Takumi. Takumi's love of swimming rubbed off on him, just as his joyfulness. But when he left Stark largely lost that joy, becoming more stern than ever. Although his years as a marine made him dislike using his strength and abilities to solve matters but if he is forced to he won't hesitate using them lethally. He is usually very calm but when he loses his temper he really gets angry. When focussed on a mission to complete or a target to achieve he reattains his marine attitude of getting it done as fast as possible, not caring as much about collateral damage done to people as usual. This is especially true when confronted with pirates or marines doing something that in his eyes is unjustified.

Kamisori: The combination of Soru and Geppo that allows the user to travel at Soru-speed vertically as well, and also adding the possibility to traverse area’s that can’t be crossed by walking quickly, such as the distance between two ships at sea or the other side of a wall.
Shigan Ouren: Basically a rapid-fire version of shigan, capable of greatly damaging an opponent.
Shigan Byakuren (Shigan White Lotus): This move is the exact same as Shigan Ouren, but used with both hands instead of one for an even bigger impact.
Rankyaku Sen: The user kicks the air straight instead of in a curve, resulting in a blast of air similar to a bullet or cannonball.
Rankyaku Kurosu (Shigan Cross): The user kicks with both legs in a cross shape, sending a curved X-shaped rankyaku at the user, especially the central point of the two Rankyaku doing a lot of damage.
Rankyaku Renge: The user uses Rankyaku with both legs, shooting out multiple air blades cutting the opponent on both sides.
Tekkai Utsugi: This more powerful version of Tekkai makes the user visibly tense all of his muscles to counter the damage done back at the opponent, capable of breaking a regular human's bones.
Tekkai Go: Similar to Tekkai Utsugi, but instead of countering the attack it strengthens the defence of the user even further.

Weapons/Items: Stark never carries around any weaponry as his Rokushiki turn his body into a living weapon.
