-Appearance information-
Physical appearance: (one paragraph minimum per category):

Body:
Scott is about 6'2'' tall, though he tends to hunch, which makes him seem smaller and generally less impressive and more like a sad loser. Well, at least until he notices he's hunching again, in which case he makes sure to stand as straight as possible (which lasts for about five minutes until he starts hunching again). It's a shame, really, since he actually has nothing to be ashamed of. He's a slim individual, though he has started to train a bit to be able to join the marine, which leaves him with some unimpressive muscles. He's still a bit of a lightweight for his size and condition, his weight being about 70 kg.
He has long, slim hands and fingers which don't look like they'd be good at firing weapons. When he doesn't use them to sew, he usually keeps them in front of him in some defensive gesture, fidgeting, picking on them or cleaning his nails absent mindedly until he realises it makes him look even less manly than usual, at which point he usually buries them deep in his pockets or just crosses his arms over his chest.
His legs seem a little longer that usual, which is one of the things he's thankful for, since it makes him a better runner. He has a slim ribcage and shoulders, though they are starting to look less whimpy than he thinks, especially now that he's started to train. They have taken on an almost elegant look, though he doesn't really appreciate that.

Face: Scotts face is mostly pleasant, soft, slim and symmetrical, though it does have a square, strong jawline which would almost be manly, if only his body language didn't remind everyone of his absolute unmanlieness.
He has light gray, narrow eyes, the kind that could really have a fantastic stinging look to them, but he mostly uses them to dodge other peoples looks, to stare whenever he thinks they can't see him, or to kind of look like a lost puppy. Even though he's really good at all of those, especially staring, they still make him look a little colder than he really is, and more dangerous than he wants to appear.
The eyebrows above them are straight and of a slightly darker colour than his hair, almost looking like dark brown. In addition to his eyes, he unknowingly knits said eyebrows almost always, especially when he's concentrating, which includes whenever he's sewing. It doesn't help it that he's a bit shortsightened, and thus often squints when he's looking at something far off. Generally, the look on his face just doesn't make him look very approachable or friendly, and mixed with his body language, it even manages to have him come off as creepy or weird sometimes, which is something he definitely does not want to come off as.
His nose is long and slender, but not many people pay attention to it.
Scott feels he doesn't have many reasons to laugh, so the corners of his almost feminie looking lips mostly remain a bit down, though not noticably.

Hair:

Scott keeps his hair short, only an inch longer than a buzzcut. Mostly, it's for better managability, since his hair isn't exactly easy to comb or... anything, really, but also because now that he has to move a lot and even fight, he feels it would only get in the way. That, and he's in the military now, at least kind of, and the short ponytail he had before had to go in favour of a vain attempt to fit in better. Save to say, it didn't do that much, but he doesn't miss having longer hair at all.
The hair itself is a light shade of purple at the tips, and a darker shade at the roots, though the difference isn't great enough to seem unnatural. When it was longer, the ends used to be frizzy and split a lot, and to Scott, that's just another reason to keep it short. At his young age, he already shows the slight signs of a widows peak, which will most likely become noticable by the time he turns thirty.
He also sports very short, straight sideburns, not even reaching past his ears. Other than that, he doesn't have any facial hair, and doesn't plan on getting any.

Non visual information: (include details of voice, voice pitch, vocal range, any smells, feelings, and yes even tastes if its important, this section has a minimum of three sentences)
Scott doesn't talk much. He really doesn't. This is because of the lisp he's had since he was a kid and which he's deeply ashamed of. It's also a great shame, ince he has a nice voice. With a bit of training and a bit of luck, he could have been a singer, even. His voice is slightly deeper than normal and very soothing, even more so because when he does speak, it's usually only slightly louder than a whisper. Despite him not liking it, when he does talk, he always sounds very calm and doesn't change the pitch of his voice much. It's like he's trying to calm people he talks to down so they don't try and attack him in any way.
He doesn't really smell of that much, though the smell of clean cloth has probably become part of him. Lately, he's picked up a certain smell of fresh sea air as well.
As for tastes... People don't try to taste him a lot. He thinks it's a nice thing that people don't come up to him and lick him. If they were, however, he'd most likely not taste that bad. Salty, most likely. And cold. He tends to have very cold skin, though that doesn't bother him all that much.

Extra features:
Scott doesn't really have many obvious extra features. He does, however, have one slim scar above his right eye. It runs from slightly right to his eye across his eyebrow and stops barely an inch above it.

Clothing: (include all clothing detail, the material, color, thickness, fitting and position of all garments they wear and anything the carry on their person, please describe at leist three outfits, one paragraph minimum)
The outfit Scott wears for work is, of course, his marine uniform. It's the standard uniform for the lower ranks: a white shirt without arms and the word 'Marine', as well as a stilized seagull on it, a blue neckerchief, and dark blue, long pants worn with black boots. Additionally, of course, he got a white basebal cap with 'Marine' written on the fron, which he wears gladly.
Scott wears the uniform not with pride, but at least correctly. When it comes to clothes, he knows his stuff, so it fits him neatly and is always in good shape.

When off work, Scott has various outfits, though he mostly goes for plain shirts and pants, maybe sweaters when he's somewhere cold.
One of his favourites is a light teal sweatshirt made out of cotton. It looks boring, but it's comfortable. When in a warm environment and somehow still inclined to wear it, he simply rolls up the sleeves. With it, he often wears dark, long pants and comfortable black shoes. For being a tailor, he notacably lacks in style, but at least he makes sure his clothes are always clean and don't have any holes.

There aren't many special occasions in Scotts life, but just in case there might be, he keeps a suit as well. It's a very old suit, which used to belong to his father until he became too fat to wear it, and is now his sons prized possession. Safe to say it's a bit old fashioned, but it's the only one he has, and it is still sufficable in his eyes. He made a few modifications to it though. It's black, with a sleek look to it. The material is mostly fine, high quality cotton, but the inside of the jacket is made out of silk, which makes it very cnice to wear, not to mention that it looks nice when visible (this is one of the things he changed about it). The pants are long and also black, though there's no silk anywhere on them.
To go along with the suit, Scott made a white, very thin silk shirt. He likes it a lot... To round the outfit off, he has the old, black bowtie to go along with it, which he found all right and didn't modify, as well as black leather shoes which he never wears save for said special occasions.

-Personality information-

Personality Overview:
Scotts biggest problem may be his low self esteem. It's not crippling, it doesn't turn him into a quivering pile of self loathing, but it's there, and it doesn't make things any easier on him. He tries to hide it, god knows he does. He feels like, since he's a part of the army now, he should somehow be tougher than he feels most of the time, and he tries to act the part so hard. Whenever he notices any sort of nervous or whimpy behaviour from himself, he tries to cover it up as quickly as he can. Too bad he is basically kept together by the strings of the self-loathing he feels because he's unable to be more like the person he wants to be.
So he tries to cover it up with dry sarcasm, showing his realitic (or rather, realistic pessimistic) outlook to the world and acting like the dislike he gets for it doesn't bother him at all.
Such statements are pretty much all people ever get from him, since he doesn't talk much, and so he doesn't have many friends.
His outlook isn't healthy for him either, it brings him down a lot, since he often ends up discouraging himself through discouraging others, or really only discouraging himself. This is especially apparent when he does want to get close to someone.
In that case, he wants to talk to them even less, afraid of having nothing to say just as much as having something to say.
So, if talking isn't an option, then what is? Scott, if he's really serious, tries a different route. He makes them smaller presents. Pictures, maybe, or letters (though that's rare), sometimes he even designs and sews clothes, just for them. The problem with that is that he's aware of the creepy vibe this might give, and so he often doesn't have it in him to send tell them he was the one who send them, and sends them anonymously. He's also aware that this makes the whole gesture even creepier, and so he often gives up on forming relationships of any kind before he's even tried.
It's too bad, really, since he's such a sweet person once you get to know him and he's not, well... afraid of you anymore. Once he drops the walls he forms of mistrust and acid tongued jabs, it turns out there's nothing he wouldn't do for those he cares about. Though if those people do disappoint him, in his eyes, they're going to be mortal enemies forever. Or at least until they can convince him otherwise, which is pretty much impossible.
When it comes to pirates, he hates them no more or less than he seems to hate everyone else.
Really, he kind of prefers them to others in a way, they just never get tired of proving him right in his view of humanity in general. Not that he would really rather like to hang out with them instead of the marines he keeps company, but he somehow feels they're more honest in their obnoxiousness than other people he interacts with, or rather, tries not to interact with.

Likes, Dislikes, Hopes and Fears:
Likes: Most of all, Scott likes to create things. He's the happiest person in the world if he can only find someone to sew one of his gowns for, or even just any piece of clothing. They don't even have to wear it, he just wants them to like it. Anyone, really. He likes it when his work gets acknowledged. He likes it when anyone finds something good in him. The only exception to this is destroying things. It's just the opposite of what he likes to do. That's probably why he isn't a good fighter. The only exception to this are people who give him a good reason to hate them. Like, really, really hate them. Which is easy, he supposes.
On a completely unrelated note, he likes alliterations.

Dislikes: Scott likes to act as though he dislikes people. That's only partly true, while he certainly dislikes a vast part of them, he's mainly afraid of them. Whenever someone laughs, he automatically thinks they're laughing at him, and whenever someone looks at him, he must have done something strange. He tries to act like he doesn't even care, but those small things are really important to him. More than the people who he thinks are judging him, he fears the people who really are. It's really, really easy to hurt him, sensitive man that he is, and so he often shys away from people. When he does open to them a little, though, and they hurt or use him, then that's his worst nightmare coming true. He can get really spiteful and openly aggressive then to hide how hurt he really is by their behaviour, then cry about his dumbness later. It's almost bipolar how sudden his mood chagnes in such situations...

Approved, Gore, but just so you know, the techniques list is broken, so you MIGHT want to fix that.
