Serious: The Blizzard Pirates Chapter 1: First Adventure in York Island. Assembling the crew. (CLOSED)

Just as kana introduced herself to her new captain, a sudden sound of stampeding and the shout of; 'Hurry up already were nearly there!', came into hearing and sure enough, King Zastur, Ted and Peck were speeding down the docks, and stopped abruptly near the ship, with Peck and Ted gasping for air as they halted, and their king, sent flying into the Windwalker's mast face first. As the king managed to remove his face from the ship, he looked around dazed for a moment, before noticing he arrived at the right ship. "Aha! So this is the our vessel? Indeed an adiquite ship, though I would prefer something a little more regal, anyways, where's the captain? I have found a new subordinate for my- his crew!", Zastur bellowed out, expecting an imediet answer, while his pets/subordinates where lying on the ground exhausted.

Roko kneeled down, took Kana's hand and kissed it.

"Hi Kana, so you want to join my crew... I'd be honored. What's your speciality?"-Roko asked Kana. Then he heard a sound and saw that King Zastur had landed on the ship and asked for him.-"Im here King!" -Roko wave his hand to Zastur.

As the king heard his captain, he imedietly replied; "I prefer the term sire or your majesty, but i'll et it slide.", as he began walking over to the edge of the ship to see the captain. "There was a young girl that wished to join us I belive her name was- AHA! THERE YOU ARE YOU LITTLE DITCHING PEASEANT!", the king ended in a rant as he saw kana standing next to the captain. "Why the hell did you ditch me? I was heading back to the ship anyway! I demand you to answer me!" King Zastur said moodily, before quickly changing his mood and informing Roko; "She was the girl I was talking about earlier capatain.", and reverting back to his foul mood. It's the bosses own fault, he got lost Ted mumbled as he was relaxing. Shhhhh! He'll hear us, Peck warned fearfully, as he waited for the inevitable rant from their master.

Kana slightly blushed as her captain knelt down and kissed her hand.
"Weapon specialist." she answered. "What is your name captain?"
She turned and spotted Zastur with his animals stomping onto the ship making his presense known. Oh, he did find the ship. That was good. She was worried that he would never find it.
"You were lost." she told him answering his demands. "If I didn't leave with Cameron, we wouldn't have found the ship."

Mid way through his walk Ryohei realized something, he was supposed to be playing the hero when the bombs went off. "Great just great." He said to himself before turning around and walking the opposite direction. He needed to make it back to get the disguise he had previously thrown out. After a while of walking he reached his destination and retrieved the clothing. He then decided it was best not to be around any building since he did not know the locations of the bombs that were planted.

Alice nodded her head. "I don't know what's wrong, I feel weird, maybe I am sick" she said while she stared at Cameron's deep blue eyes, somehow Alice felt really attracted to those eyes, she couldn't find the strewn to look away from them, it was like they were magnetically attracted.

Why am I like this? I must have fever or something..., Alice thought as she continued to stare at Cameron.

Cameron looked at her and smiled, his arm still around her. She seemed sick, but didn't at the same time, and why was she staring at him? Suddenly Cameron felt warm, and slightly blushed as she stared at him. Was he sick as well, contagious maybe? Cameron shook off the feeling and looked at Alice again, and put his hand on her forehead "You don't feel warm, so I don't think your sick" Said Cameron

Alice, what's wrong with you, what's this warm feeling on my cheeks? What now I'm talking with myself again and not only in first person but also in third, I'm really crazy ugh... and Cameron *sigh* why does he have such beauti- wait WHAT AM I THINKING? Stop it right now Alice, you aren't allowed to think that, what's wrong with you. WHAT'S WRONG. You just met this guy and you're already thinking like that, Alice had a mental argument with herself, still staring at Cameron.

Alice's eyes widened as Cameron's hand was placed on her forehead, she felt her eyes roll to the back of her head as she fainted.

“And here we are,” Leif said, now walking alongside Alan. There was no point any longer in hiding the fact that they were traveling together. As they approached the group around the Windwalker, Leif raised a hand and waved. “Hey! Captain!” They came up beside the captain and stopped, Leif rubbing the back of his head and looking embarrassed. “Sorry about running off. I had to pick up someone.” Leif pointed at the man next to him. “This is Alan. He’s my…uh…” Leif paused. He wasn’t sure if he should finish that statement.

Alan glanced at Leif, saw his uncertainty, and said, “If you wish to travel with them, you should not hide anything important from them.”

“You’re right,” Leif sighed. “Alan’s my mechanic, I guess you could say.”

It wasn’t the word Alan would have chosen to call his current job, but he let it pass. He merely smiled at the captain and held out his hand to shake.

Cameron looked at Alice a bit worried, I guess she is sick he thought to himself, picking up Alice and carrying her to the ship and sighing, thinking about if she would be alright, which was strange because people's well being was very low on his list of priorities to think about. Finally reaching the ship, he walked up to Roko not really caring if anyone was talking to him.

"Oi, Roko-sama, Alice is sick, wheres her room?" he asked him bluntly, still carrying Alice

As on que, King Zastur began his pintless rant. "How dare you asume that I could possibly not find a soulution of finding my own way to the ship! I already sent my royal adviser to seek out the ship barely after we had departed! The rudeness of some peaseants! It's enough to make a king turn into a tyrant! And dont' you two think you get away with that comment! I know what you said and I'll punish you later for it!", the last sentences aimed at Peck and Ted both shocked and shaking in nervousness and worry. "How long till we depart? I am tired of waiting around!", the king said bluntly, with obvious annoyance.

So she was a weapon specialist... Cool...- Roko thought.

"My name is Roko, Roko Cloud."-Roko answered Kana.

Then he noticed taht Leif had returned from wherever he had been, he had dissappeared soon as he joined the crew, and had come back with a man. Roko listened to Leif and learnt that the guy was named Alan, and that was Leif's mechanic, he didn't really understand. he shook Alan's hand.

"Hi, my name is Roko Cloud, nice to meet you"- he smiled. Then turned to Leif to ask him.-"I don't get what do you mean by saying that Alan is your mechanic..."

Cameron sighed looking at Roko, who COMPLETELY blew him off, what the hell was this? One crew member was trying to talk to him and another was sick, couldn't he just acknowledge him? Cameron looked at Roko and in a 'STOP IGNORING ME!!' to said "Roko, Alice passed out sick, where is her room so I can put her down??"

“Er…well…” Leif glanced nervously at Cameron. “Maybe you should help him first…”

Alan whacked Leif on the back of the head, knowing full well that it would seem like a light tap to the young cyborg. “Just show him,” Alan ordered. “You don’t need to say all that much.”

Leif sighed and reached up and pulled off his sunglasses to reveal his completely white eyes. “I’m a cyborg,” he told Roko quietly.

An idea came to Leif’s mind. It was a bit crazy he supposed, but Alan had said show them. Leif slipped his sunglasses back on and flipped over the whole group and then, with a second leap, Leif jumped up onto the edge of the ship before turning to look back down at the people below.

"It's nice to meet you Roko." Kana told her captain.
She turned around at the sound of Cameron's voice. In his arms was an unconscious Alice. What the heck happened to her? She was fine a few moments ago.
I'm a cyborg. She heard someone say behind her to Roko.
What? Kana turned back around to look at the other man. He had taken his sunglasses off to reveal his white eyes. Then, she watched his little display. No way. Cyborgs were real?
As a child, she heard stories from her neighbor, a former marine, about humans with mechanical enhancement. Being the logical child, she did not believe them. But now as a pirate, all of her logic has been defied. Devil fruit users, a cyborg, and a man who was very tall standing a lot taller than the average height. What an interesting crew she had joined.

Shusei had waited long enough, during these short hours he was walking around town enjoying the scenery that is the amazing town. It seemed so lively and active, it made Shusei want to see it... burnt to the ground. Shusei had enough of the peacefulness around the Town, it was obvious these people were ignorant and above all assumed from first sight. This would make Shuseis job a lot easier, it seemed as though the time for Shuseis plans have come at last. Shusei walked through the air as if they were ladders and made it to a very high point on the largest tower in the middle of the Town, it seemed to be the best place were he could watch his progress and the farthest upwards so nobody could see him, his devils smile only got bigger as he took out a small button. "... lets see how fast these cockroaches can scurry.." He pressed the red button, and all hell broke loose.

Around the town 3 Huge explosions were heard, explosions that would take at least 5 cannonballs put together to even HOPE to get near its massiveness. The people got scared and squirmed, as the chaos happened Women and children were split apart from the fear of dying and people standing between them. Men women and children ran around and away from the explosions, to make matters worse an emergency broadcast was put on the Microphones. "This just in PIRATES ARE ATTACKING!!", shusei had before walking towards the announcer of the village and left him a note, "The blizzard pirates shall rule this town, and ALL its inhabitants." Shusei was holding back his smile as he watched the people squirm. The announcer continued to speak,

"It seems to be the fault of the BLIZZARD PIRATES!! Find them ALL, you must bring them to justice!, they had Killed our Towns orphanage showing they have NO mersy for anyone, your children are not safe!!, they have killed our Mayors high security Home meaning they are Powerful!! they have even attacked our Restaurant!, this Village is not safe from the Blizzard pirates!" His voice echoed throughout the Village using Mushi Mushi, It seemed as though the entire village had by this time was out for blood, but not before being on a panick. Women scurried over to the edge of the island as the flames from the explosions started to fester around the town, it seemed like it was over for them in all the chaos. Having 4 men across the entire town Yelling on the top of their lungs, "I SAW the blizzard pirates put the explosives!! I NEW THEY WERE TROUBLE!" People were outraged, and it was thanks to these 4 simple men that people got together in the middle of the flames slowly enveloping the town (By this point a good 1/4rth of the town was enveloped by flames), they had marched over to look for Blizzard pirates as the guards were ALL assigned to find and kill anyone close to the now infamous Blizzard pirates.

Shusei stood on top of a tower, watching the commotion take place as he gave a genuine smile, he was now watching intrigued by the peoples reactions, they were indeed manipulable, and very easy ones. It was soon discovered that the captain of the Blizzard pirates was someone going by the name of 'Roko' no doubt one of Shuseis men spreading the rumors across town. Shusei decided to come down from the tower and walk towards a store men, he was terrified and was closing shop to leave. "Excuse me, could i have one of those masks? I personally like the Demon you have there." Shusei pointed at a red mask with 2 horns coming from the forehead its fangs and teeth made the one wearing it look Ominous, its eyes seemed to be glaring into anyone whom watches it. The store clerk simply gave Shusei the mask. "Please just keep it im leaving!!" the store clerk close shop and left, leaving Shusei inside with the mask. He let out a short smile, and put on the mask, untying his ponytail it was let lose around his head. He walked into the Chaos of people running and decided to have a closer look at the damage done by the 'Blizzard Pirates'.

"Where the hell are they!!" "I dont know but they have to be around here!!" walking around town the people had walked around the ships asking who was Roko, but it seemed impossible to track his movements. For the people to succesfully identify the blizzard pirates he needed Ryohei to attack them claiming to have seen them himself. "Now.. lets see what the blizzard pirates will do.. stay and attack innocent people, or flee from battle protecting the people, but not their honor."

Shusei awaited Ryohei's new appearence, with his Hero look and strong power the people would Surely side with the pirate thinking him a great hero. Shusei thought about this and almost laughed, he then looked and started watching a lost child in the middle of a crowd, she was crying. He bent down to talk to the child, "Now now, theres no need to cry, whats wrong little child." although his mask wouldnt show it he had an ominous look on him, showing his bright yellow eyes. "My mommy... i cant find her.." Shusei took out his hand. "Why dont you come with me then, just until we find your mommy." Shusei was using his sympathetic voice, a trait he learned from his father. He could easily make people think he was a nice man by just talking to them, without them ever knowing about his dark side. The child sobbing took Shuseis hand and they walked further into the Chaos, holding her hand Shusei made sure she felt comfortable next to him, she was his Trophy to remember this incident for all eternity, so it was only natural he'd take her to his ship, where a new home awaited. Once she was grown she'd become a very powerful Women. The flames at this point have reached 1 out of every 2 buildings forcing the child to watch as they walked only deeper into the chaos, Shusei was enjoying himself as the girl cried next to him, she thought they were looking for her mother, not knowing that he was only taking her as amusement.

"This just in, the captain of the crew that attacked us is now recognized as.. ROKO!! a wanted pirate already!! with a bounty of 5 million!, Obviously this man is the culprit!! FIND HIM!!!" the announcer with the mushi mushi' made his voice echo throughout the Town yet again, the people by this time were breaking into stores that were on fire and stealing the goods from inside, as the fire was very obviously going to envelope the entire town at this point, rumours were still being spread about the Blizzard pirates and their evil actions, seeing dead bodies everywhere around the village (Suspected people of being pirates, most were killed by the fire).

Shusei could only watch in laughter, taking his time as he walked deeper into the Burning part of the Town while holding a little girls hand, his laughter almost made the little girl smile for once since he met her. "Dont worry child, if this village does end up destroyed You could live with me" Shusei used his sympathetic voice to try and make her more comfortable with being around him, she stopped sobing after thinking that the man she was with was there to help her, she smiled and nodded as Shusei continued walking. Shusei looked at the little girl next to him.

"Its times like these where i am happy to be alive," The little girl nodded with an innocent smile.

Roko hadnt noticed that Cameron had been talking to him. He had been to engaged in the talk with Leif, Kana and King Zastur.

"Cameron, I'm sorry if I didnt answer you before, I hadnt noticed you were talking to me"-then he was Alice in Cameron's arms.-"Oh... Alice... Well.. she had not chosen her room yet, but the rooms are all going through that door and down the stairs inside." -he pointed to a door.

Then Roko heard Alan and Leif talking and saw that Leif showed him that he was a cyborg. Then saw him jump multiple times awesomelly and end up above them.

"AWESOMELLY COOL!!!" -Roko celebrated like a small child.

Suddenly three explosions were heard one after another, followed by a lot of people screaming and fire and smoking starting to come from houses, stores, trees, bars, etc. Roko was horrorized when he saw people running, some burnt by the fire far away. /Roko didnt listen to the announces made of them being the reponsibles/.

"People are in trouble!!!"- Roko announced to his crew.-"We must go and help them!!!"

I bet that this is the fault of the guy in the black coat that almost killed that persons in the plaza- Roko thought as jumped off the ship, almost falling on Richard Davis (Dick).

"oh, sorry!"-Roko apologized.- "arent you the guy from the bar? Come with us, we're going to help the people from the town, it seems like they have problems with that explosions."

Then Roko ran into town, hoping that his crewmates were following him.

"Alright" Cameron replied "I'll choose my room and put her in there, she can find her own when she wakes up". Cameron said, who then walked into the ship and into a kitchen, which was where his things were and grabbed them, then going to where the rooms were, and took one towards the end of the hallway. The room had two bunk beds inside, leaving Cameron not sure if he'd be sharing a room, he would have to complain if he was. He sighed, and put Alice on one of the bottom bunks and began unpacking everything into his room, then put a sign on the door that read 'Cameron'. After he was all unpacked, he sat on the floor and waited for Alice to wake.

Leif smiled slightly, looking embarrassed, as the captain acted amazed by his feat. And then he noticed a young woman, who he assumed was also part of the crew due to her presence, was also watching him as well and he blushed. Okay, that was enough showing off. He hadn’t meant to get that much attention.

The sudden explosions knocked Leif from his perch and he hit the ground with his hands clapped over his ears as he writhed in pain. The sound was so…so…intense! He had never heard anything so loud before.

Then Alan was at his side, reaching down to help Leif back up. It took him a moment, but he managed to pry Leif’s hands from his ears.

“Calm down boy,” he said quietly. “You’re alright. That’s just your special hearing kicking in. Your eardrums were replaced with a stronger kind. They can take it. Now tell me, what exactly are you hearing?”

“Everything,” Leif gasped. “Every word. Every footstep. This is insane!” He tried to cover his ears again with his hands, but then his mouth dropped open when he heard the announcements coming over the loudspeakers. Everyone could hear them, of course, but Leif didn’t realize that. “Captain!” he shouted, pushing Alan aside and jumping back to his feet. His body blurred as he ran and a few seconds later, he was in front of Roko with his hands outstretched to stop his captain. “WAIT!” Leif shouted. “You have to listen to me! They are blaming us for this attack! Do you really want to run in there like this?”

Roko was running with all his forces, and suddenly Leif was in front of him, with his hands outstreched, ready to stop himHow did he... he might run fast due to being a cyborg.... WAIT! he heard Leif say. Roko stopped and listened to Leif.

"What?!?!?!" -Roko was surprised.- "They are blaming us for the explosions? But... how do you know?!?! We have to help that people, Leif! They are dying! If they really think it was us, maybe they'll stop judging us for rumors if they see we are trying to help."-Roko said, showing concern in his face.-

Roko looked over Leif's shoulder, there was no one around here, but he could hear the screaming from the center of the town, there were some people in the horizon, they were starting to get bigger, as if they were running towards them.

As Kana was admiring the cyborg's skills, explosions from the town went off. Fires could be seen and people running and screaming. What the heck happened there? She jumped off the boat to follow Roko. Even though they weren't dorectly involved with the town, she felt like it was her duty as an underling to follow Roko and help them. What if a child lost one of his or her parents in front of their eyes like Kana did? She bit her lip. The teenager never wanted another kid to go through the same things she went through as a child.
She stopped right behind her captain. In front of him was the cyborg, Leif she had guessed from what Roko had said. He was the cause of her captain's sudden halt.
"What?" she asked surprisingly.
They were being blamed for the explosions? They weren't even in town when it occured.

Alice felt being lifted and her body was surrounded by some warmth, like arms, she was pretty sure she was being carried, but by whom? Alice thought the only one who could be was Cameron, at this, even unconscious, Alice blushed a little.

Alice tried to wake herself up, not succeeding, she gave up and starting thinking on her feelings. When Cameron put his arm around me I felt kind of weird, I'm not sure what's wrong with me.. maybe it's because I'm not used to physical contact, yeah, yeah that must be it, I can't think of any other reasonable explanations.., Alice thought as she was being carried by Cameron.

Then suddenly, she was put softly on a bed, with the covers on, Alice wanted to wake up now, not sure what was going on, still thinking Cameron was there though, and that she wasn't in danger, but she still wanted to know what was going on, where she was and why was she on a bed, she didn't realize that Cameron wouldn't carry her all the time while she was unconscious, everyone gets tired of carrying someone after a while.

Alice's blue eyes shot wide open as she lifted herself from the bed, she looked besides her to Cameron and sighed. "Hi...sorry, what happened?" she said in a low voice feeling more embarrassed of whatever exactly happened, a small blush on her cheeks.

Cameron smiled brightly when he heard Alice was awake, and tilted his head backwards to look at her. "Hey" he said smiling "You passed out so I brought you here" he finished. He looked at Alice, who was blushing, but Cameron just assumed it was because she was sick. He then smiled at her and began talking again "We should find you a room" he said, getting up and beaming at Alice.

Alice smiled back slightly. "Hi, thank you and well, are all the rooms like this one?...." she trailed off as she saw that there were two beds on the room, her smile disappeared as she glared at the thought of sharing a room with a stranger, even if they were in the same crew Alice did not like socializing.

She wondered on a way to avoid sharing her room, but as hard as she thought about it, she didn't seem to find a good solution, first, if Roko gave her a room for herself, the others would think that Roko was giving Alice special treatment, then if she shared the room, she would be uncomfortable all the time and not like it, unless... unless she shared the room with someone she was 'friends' with, but who?....Cameron! He was the perfect option, now everything she could do was ask him.

"Hey Cameron I was wondering, can I share room with you? You know, I don't like socializing, like at all, and well, you're the only person whom I'm friends with, so I wouldn't be uncomfortable with sharing a room with you, if you're ok with that of course" Alice said speaking really fast, when she finished she was panting and breathing really fast, she looked at Cameron and smiled slightly, feeling more embarrassed and hoping he did understand what she said.

Cameron looked at her, trying to understand her from how fast she was talking. When he had finally deciphered the 'code' of sorts, he was shocked. She wanted to share a room? He blushed slighly, but he didn't know why and his heart began pounding...what the hell?? Cameron put on a smile and turned to Alice, beaming

"That would be great!" he exclaimed, sounding happy and possible and walked up to her and hugged her
