Appearance: Edmund is a huge man standing at approximately 8'2". He is completely bald, though this is by choice and habit, rather then a disease. His eyes are a simple brown. Edmund's muscles are immense. In proportion to a normal human, he is like a bodybuilder, made even more powerful by his size and weight. Edmund wears a sleeveless black shirt and grey pants. He does not wear shoes of any kind, but his feet are extremely calloused, so this does not matter to him. On his back Edmund wears a massive battle ax alongside a huge sledgehammer.

History: Edmund's early life was spent on Hagane Island, and he expected that he would always be there. You see, Hagane Island is an island that allows slavery. The reason the World Government did not do anything about this is because Hagane Island is a major source of metal and allowing them to have slaves increased the production many times over. As you might have guessed, Edmund was a slave. He had no rights, no one to stand up for him. He worked day in and day out at the cities mine. Edmund was the prize slave. Because of his strength and height, he could easily do the work of twenty men. Not only that, but unlike the other slaves who gave up and died, Edmund was a survivor. He lived through all the harsh treatment, all the indignities. It was a hard life, but he was content to live it. That is, until Alice Cook arrived. She came to the island in search of food, but was attacked by the island's masters. They captured Alice and forced her to work in the mines. While she was there, Alice met Edmund and the two became friends. Alice asked Edmund if he would leave if she helped him escape. He was hesitant at first, but finally Edmund agreed, although it was with one condition: That she free ALL of the slaves. Alice used her devil fruit power to break both of them out and proceeded to the mine owner's home. Together, Edmund and Alice defeated the mine owner and his men and freed the slaves. They left the island under the control of the freed slaves and set sail together in the mine owner's personal ship. Currently, Edmund is in the Grand Line with the rest of his crew.

Personality: Edmund may seem intimidating, but he is very kind hearted. He especially cares for others who are in similar positions to the one he had been in. Edmund does have a cruel side to him though. He will go absolutely berserk if someone he cares about is hurt. Funny thing is, he cannot remember these berserk moments and has said that he's glad that he does not remember as he has 'woken back up' covered in blood.
