Carrie and Adrian Frideswide Empty
PostSubject: Carrie and Adrian Frideswide   Carrie and Adrian Frideswide Icon_minitimeSun Oct 24, 2010 7:14 am

Name: Abigail “Carrie“ Frideswide

Age:17

Bounty: none

Species: Human

Occupation: gangleader, troublemaker

Allegiance: None, hates revolutionaries, hates the world government just as much, doesn't have anything against marine or pirates

Home Village/Ocean: East Blue

Appearance: Not really tall and of unimpressive build, in feminine as well as fighting aspects, one wouldn't really expect Abigail to be a good fighter, or even a feared gangleader. Well, she is.
Despite being as frail as her mother was, she is simply so stubborn and focused on winning that she learned to use her size to her advantage. Like a weasel with rabies, her aggressive madness in a fight makes her dangerous even to stronger enemies.
She always carries her old Katana around with her. It can barely cut anything anymore, but due to its blade losing some parts (overuse), it has an effect like a saw, thus opening new attack patterns to her.
Like her father, Johan, the revolutionary, she has dirty brown hair. She keeps it waistlong, and ties it at the back of her back to keep it out of her way.
Her gray eyes always have an alert, wild, angry, slightly desperate but not fearful look in them. Rumor has it some pirate captains have simply left the island shaking with fear after looking into those eyes during their fight with the small menace. That's a lie. But why bother correcting it?
Despite all her tomboyishness, Carrie manages to still be attractive, in her own way. She can easily make heads turn, seconds before the owners of those heads get in an uneasy situation trying to explain why he looks after her to a number of overly jealous gangmembers.

History:
The early part of Abigails lifestory is told fast:
She was born the first child to princess Anika and her husband, Johan, who was of low birth, but had saved the princesses life once and since then had not left her side.
Of course, that makes little Abigail nothing less than a princess herself, and a possible heir to the throne.
It should never come to that. Her father left when she was young, and when she was ten, the revolution started. The revolution her father was leading. It took everything from her, her life, her family and her home.
The only ones left of the royal family were her little brother and her. Her father didn't count because, firstly, he wasn't really a noble, secondly, he had betrayed and killed her mother. How could someone like that still be a father to her?
She didn't know why he didn't kill them, as well. He brought them to an island far away from their home and asked friends of the royal family, a pair of rich merchants, to take them in. Asked them in a friendly tone, while his henchmen were holding guns to the poor couples heads.
That's how Abigail came to be where she is now.

Over the years, she became more and more of a rebellious, untamable child, running away and spending all her time on the streets, where she got into even more trouble.
Her foster parents silently shook their heads and concluded that it must be her fathers genes.
Abigail, or Carrie, as she had begun to call herself on the streets, didn't care much.
On the streets, she made herself a name. She beat guys far older and stronger than her.
It only got worse when she got her hands on an old sword. No one knows where exactly she got it, but her fighting style with it got quite notorious.
Soon after, she got herself her first little gang. Defeated their leader. Send him to the hospital, to be exact.
Her career as a gang leader skyrocketed after that.
Now, with barely seventeen, she has most of the towns young delinquents following her. Most are highly loyal to her. She's kind of charismatic after all. She got that from her father, even though she'd never admit it.
When she's not on the streets, she's with her little brother, Adrian. He doesn't really understand why she hates their father so much, but then again, he doesn't really remember him. But he does love her a lot.
Carrie has recently started picking fights with pirate crews landing on the island (and marine crews. She doesn't seem to be picky). Some people say she's doing a better job protecting the island than the marine.

Personality:
Abigail, or Carrie, as she wants to be called, is, understandably, deeply disturbed after witnessing the murder of her mother.
She has an attitude, and is well known for causing trouble, starting fights uncalled for, misbehaving, and all in all just being a parents worst nightmare.
She's not afraid to cause pain, lots of pain, but neither of taking a hit herself.
She's a fighter, after all. A fighter with a bad, bad temper. Lots of aggression actually coming from despair and the feeling of helplessness, as well as the dire need to prove herself, to no one in particular, maybe to the whole world. Maybe to herself. Maybe to her father?
Carrie may be a notorious gangleader who's known for even challenging pirate crews and marines, but she's a loving and protective sister just as much. If you harm her little brother, you're a dead man!
In her eyes, he's the only real member of her family left. Don't remind her of her father. She'd be more than happy to just cut his part of her dna out, and kill the man himself in a very painful way.
She doesn't understand his reasons for the revolution, and she doesn't try to either.
Though if faced with him, one could have reason to wonder if she'd really be able to cut him down.

Ship: none

Ship Flag: none

Devil Fruit: none

Special Abilities:
simply streetfighting, no special technique, rather a mix of “I want to survive this“ and “I want you dead“, also surprisingly good aim, though she mostly uses it for throwing stones. Where should she get a gun from? Possibly the same place she got that sword from. She uses it very well...

Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25):

Weapons/Items:
old Katana (hardly sharp anymore, small pieces of the blade have broken out from overuse)

Goals: Nothing special yet. Says that she want revenge for her mother. Here's not sure if she'll be able to take it.

Name: Adrian Frideswide

Age: 7, “almost 8!“

Bounty: None

Species: Human

Occupation: None

Allegiance: None

Home Village/Ocean: East Blue

Appearance: A real cutie! Unlike Carrie, who was a tomboyish mess even at that age, he's always nicely groomed and has a way of smiling that'd make the devil melt.
He has big eyes, the same pale green as his fathers, and short, dirty blonde hair (Johan had the same as a kid, so it's to be expected it'll darken at some point). He really does look like his father, but is more frail in build, one of his mothers traits.
He always shows his feelings on his face, he's an open book to everyone he meets, and they can't help but love him.
He's small for his age, and seeing how both his parents never really got tall, he most likely won't either. Still, here's saying he'll be very handsome when he's grown up.

History:
Adrian barely remembers the revolution, or his mothers dead, and he hasn't witnessed it like his sister has.
Maybe that's why he isn't as messed up, and doesnt really hold a grudge against his father.
He enjoys his life in a rich home, with foster parents who get him anything he wants.
His sister takes him with her to her gang sometimes, but he doesn't really understand the meaning of a gang, he simply sees them as more nice people who love him.
He's not dragged into fights, he keeps out of trouble, and he leads a nice, quiet life. Though he's begun to wonder about his parents lately.
Taking his social contacts into consideration, he's either going to lead his nice, quiet life, maybe marry and have a kid or two, and die a well respected and loved citizen, or he's going to become one hell of a fighter (for which side doesn't matter) and die in a battle.

Personality:
A genuinely sweet and nice boy, loved by everyone he meets, and quite intelligent as well, Adrian has the possible drawback of being extremely curious. He asks a lot of questions about a lot of subjects, sadly involving his parents and such things, which everyone else would rather forget about.
Even though everyone loves him, it seems to be hard for him to love back. He's equally nice to everyone, but that also means he likes them all on the same level. Liking ones own foster mother on the same level as one likes a complete stranger might be a real problem.
The only person who he seems to like more is his sister. It's possible he wants to meet his father because of that.

Ship: none

Ship Flag: none

Devil Fruit: none

Special Abilities: … Looking exptremely cute? He'll be one handsome guy when he's grown up...

Learned Techniques (Keep it 1-25): none

Weapons/Items:
None. Mostly. Toys sometimes.

Goals: He simply wants to have fun. Meeting his father would be great, too.

(His kids? Are you kidding us? You give his kids a charsheet??? yes. Yes, I do. I'm not planning to use them, at least not now. Don't know why I upload them. Hey, is there a maximum of npcs I'm allowed to have?)
