| Medically speaking, if you do that every night consistently, you may start to go crazy.
By comparison, 8 days straight without sleep permanently alters someone's mind.

| I went to bed at four last night... (this morning, technically) and woke up at one-ish. Haha, I was playing Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games. They are games complecated and annoying. Except for running. And swimming. And archery and shooting. I rock at archery. :) | |

| It would be nearly impossible to stay up straight for 8 days, your body would make you pass out before that point but I heard 3 days without sleep is enough to mess you up | |

Oh. It was done. Not as a study though. A radio announcer was doing this thing where he decided to stay up as long as possible. He made it eight days before being brought to an emergency room. He suffered severe psychological damage. His personality was the hardest hit, permanently changing. | |
